Epic fail! This video needs to be renamed 'How NOT to load wheelchair users into vehicles'. No headrest on the wheelchair. Wheelchair backrest is too low. The front tie down straps were attached to an unsafe point on the wheelchair. The back tie down straps weren't straight. And there was no sash belt.
When loading wheelchair, you should always hold onto the wheelchair as it goes up as well.
Why is the wheel chair in the centre. Surely it should be to the side it's blocking the aisle to the rear of the vehicle.
The occupant restraint system is missing a shoulder belt. The person might fall forward or sideways and/or impact the vehicle interior.
question: can you position a wheelchair behind the passanger seat in a front facing position?
what about the shoulder belt?
The patient face outward and she is to ride up with patient. Wrong loading
