1:35, 3:17 "Now-w-w that's a STAR TREK!!"
Lol 😂
It's a bummer they don't actually have a cast member to play Sulu
I think he's played Sulu in every Trek SNL sketch since the 1st season
That's Akira Yoshimura, an SNL production designer who's played Sulu in every STAR TREK sketch they've done. It's a long-running gag.
snl.wikia.com/wiki/Akira_Yoshimura
Joshua M. Patton did he do some cameos during the Ebersol era??? I remember a funny ass Asian dude whom I kept expecting to be made a cast member...
I thought it was a deliberate joke because he had the line "we've never seen him before and that's weird"
Yeah but what is sadder that most Asians do stand with Blacks or Latins for friendship, justice, dating, and peace in a country they reap the benefits from everyday.
Chris Pine is so good he can play both timelines of Kirk
And that "I get sexually excited by science" NDT from Kenan lmao
D'oh! If Spocko was an engineer, they gave him the WRONG COLOR SHIRT.
It would explain the engineering insignia he was wearing.
But then, he would've been a Redshirt. We all know how that turns out.
EXACTLY...and the plasma exhaust system access panel isn't on the bridge! I mean, come on!
@@martinbaxter7840 Yeah, but Scottie did ok, he was only "killed" once! Done by NOMAD, who "repaired the unit Scott" under orders from his creator, the Kirk! LOL.
Nerd lol
Spocko still makes more sense than Michael Burnham.
"I'll see you - and this is so exciting - IN THE FUTURE!" 😂
I need that Pizza Beach record in my iPod asap!
Chris Pine was the only one putting in the effort here
I think the rest of them are just bad actors...
I loved Spocko. Give it up for Spocko.
"Chris Pine was the only one putting in the effort here" Please, Spocko was ... priceless. LOL.
Now that's a star trek!
David Haddock If this is supposed to be from TOS Season 3, the cast half-assing it makes it more realistic.
brilliant...they brought back same guy for Sulu...thats a HUGE nerd/snl callback.
also...this sketch was worth it entirely for the pizza beach number.
"That's alot to unpack..."
I'M DYING.
Lol I’m loving the dance sequence. Kyle and Beck win the prize 🎖
That was the best and worst Neil deGrasse Tyson impression I have ever seen.
I think Neil is probably laughing his ass off at it anyway.
Savage Dragon The best Tyson will always be Jordan Peele
"Set your phasers to OH SNAP!" ohhhh snap!
Spocko >>> Sybok
This is officially canon now.
Brian Watkins You mean cannon?
“Now that’s a Star Trek!” My new quote of the day!
"We've never seen him before. It's weird." I lost it!!!
Spocko NEEDS to be in the next Star Trek movie!
Maybe he'll be on Season 2 of Discovery.
LMAO
If the actor of him (not Spocko) does play even a momentary role as a cameo, that'd be awesome for SNL viewers to reference lol
The best part is that they all had so much fun!
You can tell by the time they’re dancing*
As if Spock wouldn't know the mechanics of EVERY system on the ship.
Chris Pine is good in this making it better than any episode of Star Trek: Discovery.
Where's McCoy when you need him?
Yes, McCoy would a fountainhead of endless joke potential...Damn it Jim, I'm a doctor, not a pizza cook! In fact, there were some pretty funny moments in the actual show with dialogs involving him and the gang...
B. Alvn "Damn it man, I'm a doctor not an periodontist!"
MikeRiderOOO Yeah maybe he could have cured that disease he got from only eating pearl onions and shaved ice.
(Dr. McCoy) "He's dead, Jim"!
