@@Gemini_Samura1 I've never heard of The Minibosses but The Protomen are fantastic. Also came here to mention Bit Brigade. They speedrun the game on stage while the band performs the music behind the runner. I've seen them 3 times and it's so fun to watch.
I beat this game while my brothers watched, cheering me on and rolling on the ground full of anxiety and joy. My favorite times in life were playing these old NES games with them. Thanks for keeping real gaming alive, cowboy.

I remember my first year of university. I was playing Bubble Man's stage on my NES when my roommate came in and said, "What is that horrible music?" It was then that I knew he was an idiot.
Started watching your speed runs just recently they’re all Awesome I am absolutely shocked with this one particularly cause I’m a huge mm2 fan. Absolutely Awesome
The staff worked on this game in their spare time because Capcom didn't have enough faith in it, due to the unpopularity of the first game. I'm glad because this series is awesome!
@@HomeDefender30 Since watching this video a year ago I've seen some of his other runs and yeah, he's amazing. His Ninja Gaiden skills are ridiculously good.

A minute and 31 seconds into the run and my mind is already blown. These games have ALWAYS been notoriously difficult for me and you made the first look like a regular shite enemy. Excellent clunk!
How is it that I've been playing Mega Man 2 since it came out and I never realized you could charge the Heat weapon until now! Thank you Cowboy for showing me the way once again! You have officially become my go-to on how to do shit!
"How is it that I've been playing Mega Man 2 since it came out and I never realized you could charge the Heat weapon until now!" -- It's because you're an idiot. That's all there is to it. Back in the day, you would play this with your friends and if you didn't know, chances are one of your friends might - unless of course your friends are just as stupid as you. Also there are gaming magazines that mentioned this. There are lots of ways to have known this.
I am really embarrassed to admit that i didnt know until i saw this video that Heat man's weapon is chargeable (i used it just like basic pea shooter) and Metal blade can be used in any direction
Yeah I posted a comment on here also talking about how I record it the stages on the game through my boombox lol.. I love this game and it's music when I was a kid. I would throw that cassette tape in that Sony Walkman before I hit the bed and would be knocked out before I knew it snoozing to the tunes. 🤗🤟
This is the very first video game I purchased with my own money as a child. I'd been putting $2 away every week for several months so I could afford to splurge on a NES cart in town! I still remember walking around the shops afterwards.. chuffed, but in a hurry to get back home :P
Nice job on the speed run. I dunno if you read the comment section here on UA-cam but you can shorten your time down by using air man's weapon on heat man. It's much faster than buster. I say this given your choice of route. Still, a really good speed run with a decent show of glitches.
I always remembered that the wood shield works great on Air Man read that in a Nintendo power and the other night I was just playing around with the Heat Gun and found out that one Full charge heat destroys the first Dr Wiley machine and it also works decent on Quick Man too, just a fun game I like to play around with !!!
I’ve never tried doing flash man first and using his power to go through airman a little faster. I always just start with airman but I like what you’ve done here
It's funny hearing about all the comments about how great the music is because when I was a kid I took my boombox and hit the record button on a bunch of the stages in Mega Man 2. I used to love playing them in my Sony Walkman when I was a kid trying to fall asleep at night. Little did I know at the time that most people consider this one of the best NES soundtracks so now I don't feel as weird about it lol. I really did love that games music as a kid though.
Pretty good..ive come close to this before. Maybe 33mins or so. Airman--metalman--woodman--flashman--crashman--quickman--bubbleman--heatman Order I do it in. Good run dude
