Brad was kind enough to say hi to me and ask me about my broken leg. He sat next to me when we both first watched his reel rock film on the nose speed record at the Castro theatre in SF. He smelled like a dirty climber but his heart and soul filled the entire theater with laughter and awe. RIP my brother.

As a climber I feel sorry to write this, but:
It is known, that there are brave climbers and old climbers, but almost no old brave climbers.
    I think:
He died, because of "safety third".
No knots? How ignorant referring the risks could someone be?

He is an amazing climber and the fact his persona bucks the trend of being "cool" I think in reality this talks to so many more people in climbing because it is so honest.
