    Great info! Do you have links for where I can buy any of these upgrades? Specifically I want some of those stick talons and daisy chains.

      I'm doing a video specifically on the daisy chains in the coming weeks. I'm working with a guy who makes these at his house and they are GREAT and affordable.
      I'll have the link in that video. You can use the promo code 'relentless' and get an additional 10% off too - even though they are already priced well.
      You can find stick talons at www.mobilehuntinggear.com/

    Appreciate the info. Do the stick talons fit all sticks (I have Skeletors) or just lone wolf? Thanks again

    Do you leave your shoulder straps and waist strap dangle under your stand when hanging? I have a similar setup, and that is something I notice moving much more in the wind than my extra climbing stick rope.

    • @RelentlessSportsman
      @RelentlessSportsman  Рік тому

      Great question, and something I should have addressed in the video.
      If it's not too windy, I'll leave the straps as they are. Otherwise I like to tight them up/strap them to the platform.

      @Relentless Sportsman it would be cool to include that in a video if it ever fits. I have attempted a couple of different ways of strapping them up but haven't found a way I am happy with yet.

    Hello. Thx for all ur videos. Why use all that gear instead of a climbing stand? Pros and cons, thx.

    • @RelentlessSportsman
      @RelentlessSportsman  Рік тому

      I get asked this question a lot.
      There are many reasons but the main reason is because where I see deer the most and where I hunt, a climber cannot climb up the trees. There are too many branches and most of the trees lean one way or another.
      I hunt swamp edges and river bottoms the most. Those trees are not good for climber stands - for the most part.
      I used a climber for a long time and was limited on the trees I could climb.
      Another reason is because I can hang and climb with a hang on stand much quieter. Hang on stands for the most part also have a smaller profile so they don't hit as much brush as I'm walking to my hunting area.
      I have nothing against climbers or people who use them. But for my needs, climbers do not work.

    No ascending bro?! I wanna see how you go up the tree with those sticks.

      I ran out of daylight and I need to make another video on how to use the daisy chains more specifically. I'll be ascending in that one.

    Wish my beast stand had a bow holder.

      What do you currently use?

    • @gdj8013
      @gdj8013 Рік тому

      I just use one attached to the tree.
      But sometimes I forget it and end up having to hold my bow the whole sit if there isn’t a small branch to hang it on.
      Which is a huge pain.
      If the stand had one intergrated I would never forget it. 😆

    My lwcg backpacks straps broke the first week I got them. JUNK

    • @RelentlessSportsman
      @RelentlessSportsman  Рік тому

      I'm surprised the straps broke. I know someone who has used one for a couple years and his straps are fine. What did end up breaking was one of the plastic buckles.
      So what he did was order a set of cheap plastic buckles on Amazon to replace the broken one.
      It's also $50 (the backpack straps).
      Higher end brands, as you probably know, can be $150-$200.

      @@RelentlessSportsman yes the cheap plastic buckles. Guess I should have clarified that. Either way i dont think its acceptable for the price
