There is a massive difference between terminid fighters and automaton fighters. Automaton fires are used to long range combat getting shot at constantly….but terminids?? That’s another hell entirely, you will spend most of your time running while dodging the onslaught of hundreds of insects jumping across the map to come kill you
@@nodefiance9178 That's mostly true, but some automatons have melee weapons, like swords and chainsaws, the ones with chainsaws are very difficult to kill and especially when they're is a little army of them running full speed behind you.
@@Ok_wafflethe difference (from what ive seen of both sides) is that generally with automatons you have more chances at engaging them in ldc, but bug breaches, nests, etc. generally bring the enemy closer 2 u, so the playstyle feels more reactive with bugs

Very nice! In case you didn't know, impact grenades can 1 shot heavies from the front, even if you hit their shield. I often save 1 or two impacts to quickly take one out before its MG shreds me.
I remember the creek. The blood, the automatons, the explosions. I can still see my fellow helldivers at my side before they get massacred by a swarm of automaton missiles. Never forget the creek

Hold reload,unsafe rail gun has huge potential for damage and heavy armor piercing but pay attention to the charge meter in first person or the gun will explode instantly killing you most of the time unless you have democracy protects armor and get lucky
heavy armor is much nicer for automaton missions compared to terminid missions, mainly because you dont have to actively run away from dangerous melee/close range enemies as often and you're constantly getting shot at from long range. sacrificing the mobility for survivability is very nice (especially since the video was an elimination mission where the map is so small there isn't anywhere to retreat to lol)
Am I doing something wrong? When I play by myself, on suicide mission difficulty not even hell dive, I got 5 drop ships on me and a tank before I can call down my first stratagem and over 350+ to kill. Is there a solo dive button that lowers the enemy count and heat?
They tweaked these eradicate missions in the last update, adding ground troops that are patrolling and engage you right away so you basically have no time to set up defenses and supplies at your own pace
this is eradication mode the easiest, anyone with full set turrets and motors can do it on hell dive difficulty. Its so easy that everyone uses it to farm xp and war bound
This month ago he try it now with all the new enemies been added like them automatons flying units and walker factories and newer tanks dropping in etc
Could you imagine the spawns if they had 4 players! It would be unreal😮 with that few and the motor support this looked easy. Maybe we are just playing Malevon Creek wrong.

What does it do
It overcharges the weapon dealing more damage at the the cost it can make your character explode if it hits the top of the bar
You shouldn’t use it at all otherwise
@@jayson546that's just not true at all. Unsafe mode barely adds damage and it rarely makes a difference.

doing it solo the turrets are necessary to hit the time limit but I love the jetpack so much
