@Nightmare Vision Goggles that's what pisses me off about anomoly. Sure it's meant to be all hardcore I get it but every single person in the zone carries basically no ammo and not a single stalker maintains their weapon. It's ridiculous.

better than playing the actual mod 10.1/10
to be more representative of Misery, you have to include about 30 clips of you being 1 shotted by some asshat with a pistol half a mile away through your top tier armor with 3 kevlar plates, and about 30 clips of you unloading entire magazines into the faces of enemies only to watch their life bar (turn on health bars) drop by less than 20% from a fully upgraded Eliminator.

The only thing I hate about this mod are the granades and that's not even on the mod. It just makes enemies carry more granades.
Misery is often easier than vanilla because of headshots, you can one tap an exo enemy if you shoot their visor with a pistol long range if you don't disable the reticle lol.
@@lasarousi dont say that, its a lie. in misery you can headshot someone with a high powered sniper rifle and they just flinch slightly like they got hit in the face by a fly.
@@FingerinUrDaughter i have been playing misery since 1.1, if you read the armor class of headgear you can see that the goggles have class III which can be penetrated by the second most common pistol ammunition in the game. Even if the actual helmet is class V the eyes are vulnerable.
You're just a bad shot probably or spray and pray.
You can one shot anyone with a dragunov to the neck too and one shot anything with the ap ammo for NATO rifles which is the third most common ammo.
Every NPC has a weakness including animals. I bet you shoot boars in the head and complain they don't die lmao.
@@lasarousi dont even bother trying to sprea those lies bro. this mod is "finished" and has been for a long time. people already know its complete fucking unplayable garbage. not that it would actually matter if what you said was true anyways, as bullets for virtually anything are so scarce, even at traders, that you never have enough to deal with more than a few people, firing your weapon does so much damage to the weapon that youll get off maybe 6 shots before it costs 40k to repair it, and youll still get 1 shotted in an exo suit by boars and pistols.

When playing a sniper, do not use a sniper rifle until you have one of the anti-materiel rifles or something else ridiculously fancy. The Mosin is GARBAGE, for one thing.
How I became OP was... I killed a guy with an SLR. The single shot version of the FN FAL. It's super accurate, has a huge magazine, and high power. I could easily see a guy in the distance, line up a headshot and hit almost 100% of the time, getting a one shot kill. For some reason it counts as a sniper specialised weapon so you get an accuracy bonus. Or some kind of bonus anyway. The fact that you can get 100% headshots makes you a lot better at killing anyone wearing armour.
I think you also get a bonus to using shotguns, which helps with mutants.
Compare this to when playing as Assault. I tried Assault first but I couldn't hit anything past short range reliably and I was getting my ass handed to me by a couple of Controllers since I couldn't get enough bullets into them while they were effortlessly screwing me over with psychic powers and their magic killing aura.
I have not used a mosin, but instead have gone with mauser. This rifle has very good ammo selection ranging from cheap anti mutant ammo to proper AP rounds. This gun is sure is good

In 2.2 snorks are just ridicolously hard. Not only that they kill you with like 2 kicks, the also are fast as like they porting and you can't even dodge them when jumping since they have gotten homing capabilities most recently. I can't tell how often I died even with godmode on in the caves where you have to find Snag's chest just because snorks are so op now.
Yeah, Snorks can bitchslap you into the Z dimension. It IS a little much.
@@zetetick395 Yup they're very hard but nothing cant be fix without 3 carbon plate I have to edit this item for lower weight and have resistance against psy, because controller is freaking annoying with their ridiculous DPS and what they heck they snipe me from very far before I could snipe them what worst you counter 2 of them you're freaking dead already.
I need to edit controller file but I don't know which one,I notice control psy attack range is very far and they can detect you through walls even I try to unload my saiga shot gun round I can't even fire 1 shot it just psy attack me in span 3 sec.
Snork nothing cant be handle with Toz66 and 2 grenade,since toz are highest damage shotgun as long you not miss.
I really need to edit controller file their difficulty is too ridiculous it made impossible in Jupiter factory without arm yourself with 50mine and 200 grenade launcher round, good thing I can stockpile those since the mod allowed to store your round deep in dangerous place.
3 days of grind real time spend another 5 hours moving the stuff into Jupiter factory back and forth.
I rather fight 4 chimera than fight 1 controller they're too broken.....

No. They wont survive 7.62 to the head. In my experience 1-2 bursts puts them down. Mercs with exo on the other hand are bitches, they can take 2-3 headshots from 7.62 . If you go for assaulter try to find AEK971, the gun has an enormous rpm. Upgrade it fully, put on burst fire, add NPSU 2.6 scope and you are set for endgame.

in regards to balance, that's actually exactly it. Misery isn't supposed to be realistic, it's just supposed to be harder. and the dev has said that it's supposed to be unfair and frustrating (which is why you can spawn into a new game 10 feet away from a chimera and two psudogiants.)

I know it's old, but I know how it feels. Jumped off a giant pipeline in Zaton, there were like 3 feet between me and the ground, with the pipeline between us. I died when I touched the ground....

You forgot the part where you sneak up the bandits near Skadovsk and 500m from the place, during a foggy evening, you get sniped by a bandit with sawed off shotgun or a crappy 9mm pistol.
Don't worry, 5 years later with a remaster mod pack, npcs still phase through solid object. Still the best bug free game series I've ever played!

Ivan Šalamon Is one of those mods you can't just play aftet finishing CoP for the first time and just hop in like nothing. There are rules, and if you don't understand them and respect them, you'll be ramming your head against the wall until you finally understand, and then the game actually becomes interesting.
