I'm new to the stalker series (just finished CoP) and I can't safely say that there are no glitches....those are anomalies of the zone, Sanya even got possessed by one and strelok, scar, and the major/colonel have possession of the f5 temporal anomaly to avoid any failure or setbacks they run into, true superhumans

И псевдогигант. Это пиздец на накаченных ножках. Он вынес весь Янов и зашедшего на огонек Стрелка, пока я прятался бегал от него по туманному Юпитеру, как в каком то хорорре. У него теперь ударная волна и в воздухе дамажит, без ПКМ с парой коробов ему ничего не сделаешь
It's actually a pretty good set of features once you de-misery the player's experience. (Not moving like a slug who skipped leg day for example and traders/economy not being in four parallel recessions)
You have to do most of the extracting and editing yourself though since the addons available are pretty basic right now.

There's still nothing to do. It's like the fifth CoC mod that's literally just CoC with a new coat of paint. Or maybe a few brushes of paint.

Yeah I have pretty great loot at this point and 500k RU in Dead Air, and I have nothing to do. I already went ahead and raided Chernobyl NPP for more loot. I'm just kind of bored with it now.

Akinaro Anomaly is just Last Day in x64. Still a meme mod.
Fallowing that reasoning we can say that all those mods are just CoC with few addons...
Yes Anomaly is last day, but it have more to offer than just x64 = Its actual fun to play, with balance between hardness and fun, sadly most of mods forgot about that and just dump random stuff to game and call it a day. Anomaly is not perfect at all but compared to DA, its just better to play.

Yeah, I agree with you. The whole Memery fork has evolved into a whole subgenre in the Stalker scene. And the Dead Air/Anomaly are the next generation of this fork.

I take back everything I said about Anomaly, is legitimately fun, and what it makes it so enjoyable is that YOU can actually decide how hard can the game be. And yes the game can be challenging from time to time but it actually feels fair.
