That’s why I am not a big fan of triggers for the kick drum. At least when they sound like that. There is no resonance so any mistake, especially at that speed, is extremely noticeable.
Get them a new drummer stat, it may have been the worst metalcore performance I’ve ever whitenessed in person

I was at this show, it was their first show in 2+ years since 2019. They were a little off this night tbh. I’ve seen them 2 other times over the past decade and they were really good the two other times.
this album released 8 days after i was born, what a birthday gift
Man that made me feel old haha. I was a sophomore in high school. Great memories of jamming to this CD (that’s what it was back in the day haha).

@@slayersbarracks4907 definitely dude! My drawers have ran outta space for band shirts, so I’ve made the switch to vinyl. Since most are limited, they hold their value, which is really cool! Not to mention they’re flat and easier to store lol. Good way to keep our bands going!

If the lineup is the same still, it goes Tallah, Varials, Miss May I, and All That Remains.

This was extremely difficult to watch. Thank the lord Jason Costa is taking some time off because he was slacking heavily in this performance. All the other performances on UA-cam after this sound so much better with the fill-in drummer.

Sorry you missed it! Didn’t grab any vids of Tallah… I picked and chose my spots because I got yelled at for recording not too long ago. Didn’t wanna spoil it early on lol.
One my favorite bands but this was hard to watch and quality sucks... hopefully, it was better in-person

Well the drums are off but that's also not the real drummer plus they are still relatively new so not alot of money for good equipment and a chris barnes-less cc is not good anyway lol but for real there's alot of things to factor in if cc didn't sound "on point" they should retire since they been around for 30 years and corpesgrinder is a whore so they have enough money to sound "on point"
Will rather just listen to the recorded album.
Phil sounds pretty bad. Maybe his voice will get better, as the tour continues.

every time i come back i just get more upset. they SERIOUSLY botched this set, might be the worst sounding band i've seen in a looooooooong time
Everyone has technical issues now and then (especially when bands were first starting to come back after covid lockdowns), but this is just a straight up poor performance by the drummer. Probably the only band I’ve been disappointed by live. I’d see them again because Jason Richardson is just a wild guitarist, but I would just hope that the drummer would have his shit together by then (or have been replaced lol).
@@MikeSullivanJr good news, looks like he's been replaced this tour, and the videos are MUCH better. kind of just makes me more bitter that their hometown show was awful lol
You people that comment about the crappy drummer are all wrong. Jason is actually an awesome drummer. Bye the way, the drummer is the "leader" of the band. So if anyone is off timing, it's the rest of the band. The drummer IS the metronome.

While I agree, it was still worth seeing Tallah, Varials, and Miss May I. I mostly went for MMI, and they didn’t disappoint!
I agree. But I'll probably still go for Miss May I and Varials. As a drummer myself, this is painful to watch.
