The harder the wood you use to make chalk coal the better quality coal you are likely get
Dear High Weald AONB the way you guys go about processing your chalk coal is not the best way of doing it. 1 you pack the skill too steep, 2 too much smoke is coming from it as a result the steaming quality is not good, and 3 you do not use water on it like that you are putting yourself at risk to get sick with pneumonia and other illnesses .
Having a real hard time researching this method. Got any good videos? What is this method called?
