I'm also a registered nurse, and I wanted to make a quick note that aerosolized sprays over the baby's head should be avoided. Little lungs (and adult lungs) for that matter don't do well breathing in tiny foreign particles.

The mom never leaves, she’s always in the room. I do however ask the dad to wait in the sitting area because of the heat 😊
