I am interested in all of your studio lighting set-up. I am new to newborn photography but want to turn a room into a studio (does not have windows) and would be a similar set up to what you have here. How do I know if my camera is compatible with the lighting equipment? I would obviously need a transmitter to hook onto my camera. I looked at the Paul Bluff stuff you linked, but I still have questions. Thanks!

@@momtogeducate Thank you! And would you mind sharing where you purchase your flokati rug? The one I purchased was a true rug with a stiff bottom so I don't want to make that mistake again :)

@@momtogeducate I saw previously that you used the Soft Silver PLM vs the White PLM that comes in Paul C. Bluff Newborn lighting kit - I'd love to know why you chose the soft silver over the white? I am trying to decide on which one to buy. Also, pros of going with the 64" now instead of the 84"? Is there a huge difference in the photos? Thanks so much!!
@@stephanieking4763 you want the white for minimal shadows... you want the silver for more defined shadows.... in my opinion you'll have less flat lighting issues and easier to edit.
Quick question, i’m confused, so you are using a continuous light and an flash on top of it all together inside the modifier? Thanks for the tutorial! Keep it up!
It’s the Einstein unit from Paulcbuff.com and it has a model light that stays on for focusing and then the light fires a flash. I use a wireless cactus trigger on my camera and on the flash unit to sync
Watching this video after a heavy lunch - the shusher is putting me to sleep. LOL....Thanks for sharing
Haha that’s awesome!! Thanks for watching 😁

Thank you! ❤️❤️
Thank you very much this was very helpful
Thank you!
Very helpful video...can you please tell me what light you are using...it looks to be lit but also flashes - do you have two lights?
Yes! It’s the Einstein from Paul c Buff.
It has a model lamp that stays on while you focus your camera. And then once you take the image, it flashes.

Hello, have you link to the video that shows the beans under the cover.
How many lights do you use in your studio? Thank you for sharing this!
Just one:) I use the Einstein with the 64” PLM.
I used to use the 86” PLM but decided to try the smaller one and I really like it
