I bought a 2013 TRD Off Road in late 2012. It's been pretty much flawless for a decade. Love the rear locker and ATRAC when I go off road. I added a lift and winch for off road use. The next video I make on it will have to be a more in-depth rust one :(
@@Realistick something else our trucks have in common! 😂
I sold my 06 Prerunner V6 access 6spd supercharged 32k miles for $20k in 2012. If I sold the same truck today it's probably worth nearly double that 😅
The 2014 standard cab 4X4 is called cute by the ladies and cool by the guys 🤔🏆🏆🏆
Nice video
My 2010 is a Base cab SR5 2.7 4 cyl. 5 sp manual...Came with 16 inch 6 lug TRD alloy wheels which I have never seen beyond this truck Same color as yours....Worse thing about the base model is the awful bench seat.
Btw, I keep hearing that the frame failures are on the v6 models.I paid 12K Sept 2017 124K subbed
Interesting combo, I'd love to get the new TRD wheels on mine personally. Although the frame issue definitely affected I4 models as my truck was actually a part of the recall and could have gotten a free frame but the previous owner was oblivious🙃 I had a welder put in a couple plates and then I brushed off a ton of it, resealed it and blasted with fluid film. I might make a video about that here soon!
Working on a deal to get the same year in silver
I’ve got a 17 with the auto and really dislike it. Should have got an older 4cyd manual for my usage
For the spare tire I carry wd40 and a Mallot in the bed in order to break it free if I ever need it.
2022 TRD off-road 6spd manual 2nd ⚙️ 67mph... 3rd ⚙️ 98mph... I'm not exactly what 1st ⚙️ is cause i shift WAY b4 redline lol long ass gearing
Just got a 2007 TRD 6 speed, might have to sell it due to the cramped clutch area, I have to point my foot like a ballerina to not get my foot hung up in the tiny foot space. Pretty ridiculous compared to other manual trucks I've driven.
I wear 14s and don't have that issue? Maybe the 6 speed has different placements. I did adjust my gas pedal though.
I have a 2010 with 119,000 miles that runs like new. The only thing that sucks is brandons gas prices
OK!!! A HEADS UP PEOPLE 07 tacoma 2.7L
There is a tube that runs from the side of the thermostat housing, between the engine block and intake manifold, to the back of the engine, it splits in 2, 1 for the heater core, and 1 to the throtal body as a pre warmer.. (ITS MADE OUT OF PLASTIC) 🤔😤 So Yea it ran HOT, BAD HOT!!! And that was at 150000 I hope many people read my comment!!!!! Its been down hill ever sents!!!!
I had a 99, sold it with 300000 and it ran good as new!!! Why would a company so this?!?!
18:02 lmfao 😂
😂😂😂😂Yea
There was a recall for frame!!
I kind of like my 4 cylinder I can floor it and still get the acceleration of a brick.
Dont know why people prefer the 2.7, younget the same amount of MPG with less power! Only reason i would get the the 2.7 is because I wanted a reg cab.
You need some work on that shifting buddy
18:00 lmfao
Thanks
2008 trw 55.000 mi front end worn out not a fan
Just bought a 08 five speed manual 4. liter but tbh I’m afraid of making a manual a daily driver I hope I love it 🙏
😢
Mine is 2010 it has had the starter replaced and that is all. 210 K and it. 's still rocking. I love this truck. I will drive it until the tires fall off.
