Never thought I'd hear Deadpool talking about Boreham Wood's defensive stats in the Vanarama National League
😆
Jesus Christ this is such a good comment
It's a weird world
😂😭 Belly laughed at this
Haha
As a diehard Wrexham fan since 2023, I've been waiting so long for this moment.
same, as a diehard fan of wrexham from april of 2023
Ah people will always jump on a bandwagon, ive watched them with a sort of fond interest but im no fan, but im happy for the real fans who supported the club to the point of coughing up the money to save it before Rob and Ryan came in, THOSE fans deserve this.
😂
Bunch of posers I’ve been a die hard fan since 2021!
I’ve been a fan since 2022 because of the Hulu documentary lol
“I wouldn’t mind getting Mullined” Ryan that is great 😂 Congrats to Wrexham
classic Ryan that
When will that be printed on T Shirts?
He just couldn’t help himself 😂
LOL
Gotta love Americans 😭
"For the town" indeed. Before "Welcome to Wrexham", the show "Sunderland 'Til I Die" really made me understand how important a local club can be for everyday people in everyday towns and cities everywhere. The reason Wrexham's tale resonates with people all over the world is because we see ourselves and our communities in their lives.
Well done, and long deserved.
Well said
It was actually Rob watching Sunderland Till I Die that inspired him to buy Wrexham
Thankyou. I don't even like football, but what these two men have done for the community is just incredible. And watching the emotion from Rob ,brought a tear to my eyes . Awesome, just awesome. Thankyou.
yep, wrexham isn't a huge city like manchester, brimingham or london with multiple top clubs, its a relatively small city so when local club does well the entire community does well
Great comment ✌
Glad he recognised Notts
Yeah, wow, how many team OWNERS, let alone MANAGERS, are that quick to give props to the rival team? He and Rob are real gents.
I honestly didn’t want to like these guys at first seeing as they’re American and Canadian, but wow. Fair dues man, these guys are top, top class and I’d have a pint with them any day.
@@SuperJNG18 Like they said, be great if they go up as there'd be at least two more cracking games between the two teams next season, but in League 2!
I believe they want whats good not just for Wrexham football, but football in general. That game against Notts was pivotal. A match between Wrexham and Notts next year would generate amazing interests.
Absolutely. I don't want to root against anybody but it would a shame if they didn't make it up.
The so-called pitch ‘invasion’ was incredible. No violence, no vandalism, just pure unbridled joy and celebration. No-one who was there will ever forget it.
Ryan and Rob will see something different against Newport next year
Why is it a “so called pitch invasion”? Every promotion has a pitch invasion like this, it’s nothing new
@@fred3831it’s just the name my brother
@@fred3831 i think its new to american audience cause theres no promotion system in their league..😅
@@yaintracingshit512 Yeah but they are saying thats all a it is just a pitch invasion it's normal." so-called pitch ‘invasion’ "is a wierd way to put it when thats exactly what it is
I LOVE THE CREDIT REYNOLDS AND MCELHENNEY GIVE TO OTHER TEAMS AND THE RESPECT THEY GIVE TO EVERYONE! LOVE THESE TWO GUYS. IM HOPING TO GO SEE THEM VERY SOON!
The interviewer asked them how they felt about the win and the two of them spent more time talking about the fans, the town, and praising the Boreham Wood and Notts County teams.
@@Lupin788 They're letting this speak for itself.
@@Lupin788 yeah that is what I don’t like about it. It’s a bit to American for my liking
@@levivlijm7571 Ryan is Canadian. We're nice. Get over it
@@sujitroy3628 based on your World Junior hockey players having a rape issue, not so nice
Love that they're both eager to see Notts County get promoted too. They may not have been doing this for long but they know what football is all about, congratulations to Wrexham on a well deserved promotion 🎉
Go on Notts County, get promoted too
Know alot more than Todd at Chelsea 😂😂😂
I am a firm believer of Anceloti's philosophy that football is simple. It is a shame that some many owners are blinded by greed to actually see the beautiful game.
The league table speaks for itself
Even after the win vs Notts County, Ryan has been to first acknowledge them. He's been reiterating the whole season long how ridiculous it is that there's only one automatic spot.
Wouldn't be surprised if he goes to Wembley to show Notts Co. some support, if they make it. He's that sort of guy. He might even hire 20 buses and buy tickets for the lot, to show solidarity and support for a deserving team.
We live in a world where Ryan Reynolds is talking passionately about the landscape of the national league
I never thought I’d ever hear Ryan Reynolds say Borehamwood 😂😂😂
Or notts county 🤣
Well, not in a football context... I believe there is a film/TV studio in Boreham Wood...
Or is it Elstree?
Ah, the local railway station is called Borehamwood & Elstree...
@@mastertrams Yeah, its in borehamwood. They only called it Elstree studios because at the time Elstree was bigger and more well known.
He said Borehamwoods
Oh, these two are fantastic. I'll say this, having these superstars coming into non league football and getting people's eyes on that league has been a god send. Ben Foster coming in, with his massive social media following, suddenly we have these games on BT Sport and everyone is getting mad about these lads!
Fair play and the best of luck to them going forward, what a story!
The National League games have been on BT Sport for a while already, but I get your point.
Two brilliant owners, congratulations Wrexham 🎉
Hello fellow pepperhead
@@tomhughes1452is that what they call us?
I think Rob in particular is truly having a life changing experience during all this. I know Ryan is too but I can tell Rob has a deep deep love now of these people and this sport. This might have been a good financial decision at first but I believe him but I do believe it's more than that now.
Rob has always been a die hard sports fan and he is literally living a dream every sports fan thinks about. Being able to own a club, no matter what level. His tears in that moments are the tears of a diehard sports fanatic coming true, and it’s beautiful to see
These two show such class, generosity and grace towards rival clubs, they are a credit to Wrexham and themselves.
These guys knew nothing about football but they’ve learned the right way & they show a lot of respect to their rivals which shows character🙌 well done Wrexham ⚽️
They still dont tbf
They no more than bohley daft c#£% going to relegate us if he keeps putting his nose in
Let's be honest most of us are still learning, especially when the rules are so frigging grey! Offside, not offside, VAR, no VAR, who knows anymore 🙄
@@jamiejosh96 tbf that's the job of the players and coaches. Ryan and Robs job is to get the team what it needs to do its best , and promote the heck out of the Wrexham.
I never watched a soccer game.... excuse me foot ball game till Wrexham haha
Paul Mullin could easily play in the championship. He is superb, way too good for National League
I’d take him over Scott hogan at blues tbh
He will be there in few years
He was one of the players I was praying we might knick in January and take to Ipswich to solve our Striker problem...tbh I'm glad he stayed at Wrexham and got this moment with them....im sure I'll see Wrexham at Portman Road in a few seasons
yeah even premier league maybe
I just watched his 53 goals for Wrexham - he chips, runs past keeper, takes power shots, places into the corner, can get on the end of crosses with headers and volleys, scores solo efforts... what a beast.
I like that Rob is delusional enough to call him one of the best in the world. That's real football spirit. 🤣🤣
Nice touch from Ryan Reynolds to mention Notts County in such a positive light 👏👏
As a borehamwood fan we did indeed get mullined
No shame in that
Rob is so eloquent and really deserves more love.
Many congratulations to all who are involved with Wrexham! 👏🏾👏🏾❤️ What a moment
So proud to be Welsh. Up the town. Wrexham is back 🏴🏴🔴

It’s great to see how much these two genuinely care about Wrexham and sportsmanship they show by giving Notts County credit.
"I wouldn't mind getting Mullened" 😂😂 nice little jab at the end
Amazing story, and the supporters really deserves the promotion.
If owners all across the world, would put half of the heart that Rob and Ryan puts in it, nobody would mind ownership of football clubs.
football would be beautiful again with owners like them
Newcastle will discover that soon.
Yeah, losing money would make the experience so much better.
God bless Rob and Ryan for what they are doing for not only Wrexham but Wales as a whole. Cheers!
Wherever this journey takes them, they’ve been a class act, and the football community should pray for more owners like them.
Big round of applause for Wrexham. I knew they would do it. The final piece of the Welsh quartet is complete. From a Cardiff City fan, huge congratulations.
cheers la ;)

A step too far for Newport and possibly Wrexham but would love to see the 4 Welsh teams playing in the prem. would be a few different derbies to the London/North West ones.
It was rob that said they had to get mullin and played a huge part in it so he has to take alot of credit for that 👍
I think it was actually Humphrey Ker who told Rob he should do anything to get Mullin.
it was people on social media telling rob about mullin. and rob and ryans people made it happen.
Two guys from the USA & Canada with real dedication show us all how to win.

They know more about football then people think, pure passion for the game.
They learned so much in these last 2 or 3 years, bravo to them, go Wrexham.

More than most owners that's for sure.
I love how Ryan is talking Tactics while Mac is talking Praise. Perfect duo leadership. Winning dynamic
These two are a breath of fresh air, this is what proper owners should conduct themselves. Congrats to Wrexham, looking forward to seeing the progress in the next few years
I watched Mullin at Sheff United in the FA Cup, outstanding. Can't really judge a player in the National League all that easily, but that FA Cup replay made me think, his movement, finishing and tenacity, he is a 5 million pound player.
Yes your right.I hope that the huge exposure he has got,can be monetised so that he stays
HAAHAHHA he is not - League 1 player at best.

@@LewisC-iu3hh That amount can pay a Premier League player mate.
On average NL players are paid 1k-5k per week. I think Paul Mullin and Ollie Palmer are earning 30k per week at most?

Class act of Ryan and Rob for how much praise they've given Notts all through this season, they've been phenomenal as well. Hopefully they win the playoffs, because they deserve to be going up as well

Incredible owners, if only all owners did the same by showing the same level of support Ryan and Rob have for Wrexham.
Ryan is so respectful to their opponent, even when they made Wrexham a documentary series, they never put the others as "the enemy", he knows everyone fights for the same thing, they all wants that promotion, congratz Wrexham !!
What these dudes have done for non league football is remarkable, their genuine passion for not only Wrexham, but the game as a whole is beautiful to see, so pleased that they have come into our game.
Congrats Wrexham. Ben's contribution, via his save, is a massive one.
ryan understands that the non league system needs to change before the fa does lol
Madness isn't it
Honestly thought Ryan & Rob did this as some PR stunt but they've shown the TRULY care about the club which is sooo rare nowadays. The city is lucky to have em!
Not just the club, the town. Bless them both.
2 gems those are, seem like great guys and great owners. Congrats to Wrexham, can't wait for our pre-season match (United fan) :)
I've been a Rochdale fan for 66 yrs. My dad was from Wrexham. I'm heart broken, but go for it Wrexham.
Love the passion from them and congratulations Wrexham for the promotion.
Rob & Ryan just shows to all ownership in Premier League of how to run a club. Sometime its not only about $$, but rather empathy & believe to what makes a club established in the first place.
I love these guys. They are pure fans that are there for the love of sport, THE beautiful game, and competition. To hear Rob talk about Mullins as one of the greatest in the world is the exact sort of delusion that is so wonderful about loving a team.

Wrexham and Notts County two of the oldest football clubs showed the world that good fair competition still exists in sport massive respect for both these teams and Im sure they will battle again in League 2 next season.
100% agree, I am rooting for Notts County to get promoted. I love that Wrexham is getting promoted and I'm so happy for them, but I think it would be a little bitter sweet if something happened and Notts County didn't end up getting promoted as a consequence after their amazing season.
Granted it would only be 1 year before they'd easily be able to clinch the promotion anyway and they're already a heavy favorite to win a promotion but still.
I'm from Nottingham and I would love to see county promoted as their efforts this season have been amazing and their new owners too have been pivotal. My dad in his life was an ardent supporter, and so is my brother going right back to the days of Jimmy Sirrell in charge and Les Brad scorinf on the field 😊
"Granted it would only be 1 year before they'd easily be able to clinch the promotion anyway "
Oldham will be stronger next season, Hartlepool are likely going to be back down, Chesterfield will probably still be around {If Notts County don't win the play-offs my money's on Woking to be the spoilers}, Southend could have sorted out their money worries And don't forget Ebbsfleet are coming back up having monstered the National League South {100 points with a game to go}.
And I wouldn't be surprised if Notts County fell off next season if they miss out in the Play-offs.
These two are incredible they have transformed a football club in just two seasons that's incredible. The team is amazing can't wait for the league 2 in August
Never did i ever think that i would hear ryan reynolds talking about boreham wood
Ryan can do interviews better then most premier league managers
Seen several interviews where Ryan bigs up the opposition. Too often for it not to be genuine humility. Fair play. Wrexham have truly hit the jackpot.
They have their hats on the right way around..
That's incredible
What he said about wanting to see Notts County up the league with them next year, what a class comment.
Amazing!!!! Massive respect to the work they’ve all out in so proud ❤

It’s been so gratifying to see this whole thing work out. They both seem like genuinely good people and they’ve not just done wonders for Wrexham, they’ve put a spotlight on non league football which could have easily been killed off from the pandemic. I hope this experience has made some full time fans of other lower league clubs too
Vanarama National League... outside of the UK who knew it existed? Now it is on the map and next League 2. I just researched the Football League system in the UK and I'm really impressed... the number of leagues and the promotion / demotion system must be pure heaven and hell at the same time. And all this in an area the size of New York but with 67 million people. So many teams, so many levels, so much drama, so much fun!
I really hope they give notts County Atleast half an episode on the upcoming season of Welcome to Wrexham. They deserve the spotlight. What they were able to do this season and they don’t have the star backing and money of a Wrexham.
