I’m a Coach and Personal Trainer and I honestly am somewhat weirded out to say that I learnt WAY MORE from you than I did on my course. This is SO CLEAR - SO DETAILED - SO INCREDIBLE. I’m going to have to watch it over and over again because there is so much wisdom every 5 seconds, my brain has a mini implosion. I have subscribed and am literally going to spend this period watching your videos! Like WOW!!! 🤯🤯🤯 THANK YOU!!!
Aw thank you! hehe so glad it helped!!
OE U The deal is that u want to better your knowledge. I have seen good and bad coaching/personal training. Bad training and a person who needs help will nvr return to a gym. Knowing the client is everything. My gym before virus had a trainer who used the same training for man, woman, or child. I held no respect for him bc if that.
Corena S hey just to clarify - I was talking about the Education of it rather than coaching methods. Yes she’s a Trainer. But she’s also an incredible Educator full to the brim of knowledge and detail, is viscerally potently and communicates Absolutely everything Amazingly.. as Regarding your coach at your gym -
Sorry to hear that. Of course training shouldn’t be the same for adults and kids - doesn’t make any sense! Don’t go to that one! Lol. All the best on your fitness journey!
Me too
As a chiropractor, pelvic bridge is my most prescribed home exercise for low back issue prevention. This is a great video, well done.
Thank you!
DrLee, what was the process of education you took to become a chiropractor
BS in Exercise Physiology with a couple extra classes was a great setup for Chiropractic College. Does that answer your question?
DRL T337 I only just a notification of you comment.
When you say some classes- how many classes and what specific courses, probably paid too right?
I went to college at West Virginia University. The Exercise Physiology program was a PreMed program, and if I remember right, I had to take an Organic Chemistry class as well. The Chiropractic Colleges give a list on prerequisites to get in the program. Some also provide a pre-chiropractic degree like Human Biology at Palmer College of Chiropractic as well.
This information is making me questions years of random classes, worksouts & yoga, and how none of it ever tied together. Gah! Thank you
This video is one of the most informative ones on youtube. It's amazing.Your chanel is so underrated!!!
Thanks so much! Glad the video helped!
Wow ! Huge amount of solid, no nonsense, useful information and guidance presented with superb organization and skillful, beautiful, tight illustration. Vastly better than most of the rest of what is being shown on this " hot " topic. Thank you so very much ma'am- you're in a class all by yourself.
Thank you so much! Glad it was helpful! I know a bit long but didn't want to leave anything valuable out!
excellent advice

Absolutely correct
agreed!!! I look forward to doing a lot more of these after my hip replacement. I can do 'some' of them now. All RS videos are helpful to me now and for the future!
So many new moves I've never seen before. 4:01 had my heart pounding out of my chest in no time. Subscribed!
Thanks for the info I'm one of those persons who need to know the "why" behind the action and you've done a great job with this especially when you showed why the person running may feel pain in their ankle. I never knew why that happens to me I just thought I needed more work on my hamstring. Thanks for sharing that tidbit. You have presented a lot of information and I think it will take several reruns before I can grasp all you have presented but it's worth it. Thanks again for the great video!
I LOVE THIS!! Thank you!
Your videos are always amazing!
I started adding the glute activation step to my workouts in January, and omg! I hadn't realised how very much more I could be using them, and now I am much more stable in strong in my lifting. Thanks!
Girl, wish you were my trainer! Just love your passion and knowledge.
This is a lot to take in..I lost a lot of weight but 130 lbs and 2.5 years later I'm still learning alot along the way..
AMAZING THANK YOU- this is pure service
You’re so amazing, I’m so glad I found you!!! You’re videos are so thorough and I love the way you present the information. Thank you for inspiring me to wake my a** up! I did one of your shoulder workouts today, so great! Keep up the outstanding work woman!
Thank you Natalie!
Absolutly LOVE your professionalism. You are incredible! Thank you for being you and doing what you do at the very highest level possible.
I'd bet you got all A's in school. Great video!
hehe Thank you! Let's just say I got As in the subjects I was interested in... hehe
So glad I found you, best information by far! I finally understand the connection between my lower back pain, hip flexor and knee issues. Thank you!!
Your videos have exponentially improved my hip and glute function.
You added SO much amazing info to this video! I am kinda crushing on you right now because of how well you present these points!! I'm a massage therapist and recently I've had to basically learn to walk again after tearing one of my most medial hamstrings (more likely my intermuscular septum). It's been a long process since I didn't act as soon as I should have in physical therapy but now I'm seeing amazing results from my training. I will be sharing this video with clients who really need to understand how the lower body functions! So grateful for you and your synthesis.
This video and info is TOP CLASS!!! Amazing work!!! Thanks for this! 👏👏👏
Would love a video on foam rolling before workouts! You're the best
Thank you so much I have suffered for years. No one ever told me I just had to work on glutes. You are so wonderful.
Yep, the best glute break down on UA-cam, hands down. Thank you for your work Miss!
Thank you! So glad it helped!
Thank so much for a detailed explanation. I'm an ex pt/fitness coach specialising in posture analysis, and you have taught me some knew things and reminded me of stuff I have forgotten. I have major muscle loss on my lower left side, due to arthritis in my left hip. Just starting to re-gain some strength now, but need more work.
On Corona lockdown in the UK so I have no excuses and plenty of time to fix myself. Thank you 👍🏿🙏🏿🇬🇧🇦🇬
this is the most informative fitness channel I've found in quite some time. great demos and layperson explanation of the mechanics of the body.
Incredible info and presentation! Thank you!
Best information I’ve ever been given. Thank you!
Great video I love those exercises, I could watch you doing them all day .
This is the best video about glutes on the internet IMHO. Thank you!
Thank you Sarah!
This is the best video on UA-cam for this topic. I've had so much trouble really making these connections, and your use of graphics and video examples really helped me. Thanks!
So much quality info! Much appreciated
So stoked to have found you! Super informative videos and I love how you back it with actual science! You make it very easy to understand and I can't wait to get started.
I Love how clear and concise this woman talks 😂😂😂😂 it keeps me tuned in! By the way, never had someone explain glutes in this way... She breaks it down and presents all the research to back it up- I like it💪🏽
I Love your videos! I’m showing my my classes this video. Sometimes it just doesn’t sink in when you try to get them to do perfect form. Thank you for sharing your knowledge!
Teaching them the WHY behind everything definitely can help them appreciate form and even regressions when needed.
You are truely amazing. Love your posts, the way you explain and passion. You inspire me 🙏🏽
One of the best videos about glute training I've ever seen!
Great video! I love how you include references to and quotes from the researches and how you -somehow- predict the questions I have and give answers to those! :)
You are fantastic! Such a wealth of information with scientific backing. I just found you and subscribed. Can’t wait for more videos! I have a feeling you are going to be instrumental to my strength training journey! Thanks ❤️
Thank you for creating this video. It is both informative and entertaining to watch. I know I will be applying some of what I learned here into my workout routines!
Again... you are knocking it out of the park with this information. This has been so difficult for me due to running injuries but I’m slowly learning, to bad I had to learn these lessons the hard way. Thanks for your video.
Fabulous! Thank you for this detailed, thoughtful, informative presentation!
Thank you! So glad you liked it!
learned an incredible amount of important information. THANK YOU...resolved many of my biggest issues
10:03. Lol. I’m sorry. This video was very informative and I can’t imagine how long it took to gather and edit all this information. Great job. Keep up the excellent work
Thank you! Although she doesn't want a guy that just squats.
LOVE this video!! Would love to see more of these -I'm a PT and I love hearing all the scientific information and have it put together in a format that I can send on to my clients to watch before I start building the recommendations into our workouts. Thank you :)
Thank you Sarah! So glad it helped! Definitely have plans to do more so feel free to let me know if there are any specific topics of interest for you!
Thank you so much! Very informative information...
All your videos are true to the name Redefining Strength. The scientific insight you provide to the why of doing any movement and/or exercise and the progression of a routine is comprehensive. Even if one mutes your explanations, just watching your posture and the clearness of your movements is education enough as to how to do any stretch or exercise properly and correctly. Thank you.
Love it! Extremely well explained! Thank you! 👌
Nice work... Informative and much more useful than most other "fitness" videos. I have severe Anterior tilt and always interested in trying new ways to tweak it.
Thank you. So grateful for you and this channel.
This was an excellent educational vlog- thank you so much for sharing!
Great information. Thank you. 🇬🇧
Great video! Just exactly what I need. Thankfully appreciated.
Thank you for this very informative video! I only wish I had this when I seriously injured my lower back 4 years ago.
Through lots of appointments with my (trusted) chiropractor, we determined at the time that it was something deep within my hip that caused the injury. I have a feeling that because my glutes weren't activating properly, a lot of the very tiny muscles deep within my hip like piriformis and glute minimus got way too tight.
Through slowly-introduced glute and other core training over the course of a year (due to the amount of pain I was in, this was difficult and took some time for me to not feel pain anymore), I built up the strength in my glutes. I realized that prior to training my glutes and activating them properly, whenever I walked, the motion was coming from my quads, and when I stepped off the sidewalk to cross the road, I pulled something and that's when the back pain started.
Now, years later, I've noticed the following: 1) I can walk MUCH faster without additional effort 2) I can sprint/run much faster even though I'm neither a sprinter nor runner 3) When I walk, all the power comes from my glutes and most importantly 4) the back pain hasn't returned and when I do feel a bit of tension in my lower back, I know exactly which muscles need to be worked on.
You are amazing! Best, most informative video ever. Thank you for taking the time and energy to put it all together. Many blessings to you. 💜
Genius video. So many people have imbalances, including myself. I so needed this! Thanks 🙏
Excellent video. This was exactly what I needed to see. Easily the best video I've seen explaining glute science! Well presented and explained. I've subscribed. Thank you!
This is so great!! Science and information visually...awesome!
What a wonderful gem of a channel! I have learned more from you in five minutes than I have in a month and a half with a personal trainer. You have a new subscriber ma'am!
Glad the tips help!
tyvm
gorgeous and an amazing teacher!
Love the way you give scientific explanation to every exercise
Love the clinically rigorous and direct nature of this presentation. So lean with little fluff but fun and pleasant. High-quality video.
I love your channel! Always so helpful and without all that fluff
Simply outstanding! Both the depth and breadth of the information as well as your pedagogy. I am a retired trainer (7yrs), also and RKC Kettlebell instructor, for 20yrs. Your video will be a must-see for any and all of my future clients who are committed to learning to "Swing the Iron" (lol). I very much look forward to your future videos and tip my hat to you. Job well done.
Respectfully,
J.P. Tantarelli Jr.
This is so informative and helpful, thank you!!
I SO wish that I could train with you!! 3 years of lower back agony, personal trainers, physio, acupuncture and a chiropractor.....and you seem to be the only one who gets it......I have become afraid to exercise for fear of further injury and doing nothing makes the pain worse too.....sigh.....thank you for your amazing professionalism.
I think this is by for the most comprehensive and informative video I’ve ever seen on glutei! Thanks very much for sharing this ;)
Thank you. Brilliantly explained.
Thank you!
Very thorough rundown of the funktion of the glutes, but easy to understand. Nice illustrations to go along with your explanations and lots of exercises to play around with. You really don't need more than this video to get going 💪😎
I have only just discovered online training, have done so many pilates and yoga classes and your training is truly wonderful , am so thrilled to have found you. Thank you.

My girl friend just paid a lot of money for an assessment.
All the stretches hurt her, and impinged her shoulders, back, hips.
She has just completed your videos, she has given up on Yoga, Chi Gong and some other weird thing she does.
