I’m a Coach and Personal Trainer and I honestly am somewhat weirded out to say that I learnt WAY MORE from you than I did on my course. This is SO CLEAR - SO DETAILED - SO INCREDIBLE. I’m going to have to watch it over and over again because there is so much wisdom every 5 seconds, my brain has a mini implosion. I have subscribed and am literally going to spend this period watching your videos! Like WOW!!! 🤯🤯🤯 THANK YOU!!!

OE U The deal is that u want to better your knowledge. I have seen good and bad coaching/personal training. Bad training and a person who needs help will nvr return to a gym. Knowing the client is everything. My gym before virus had a trainer who used the same training for man, woman, or child. I held no respect for him bc if that.

Corena S hey just to clarify - I was talking about the Education of it rather than coaching methods. Yes she’s a Trainer. But she’s also an incredible Educator full to the brim of knowledge and detail, is viscerally potently and communicates Absolutely everything Amazingly.. as Regarding your coach at your gym -
Sorry to hear that. Of course training shouldn’t be the same for adults and kids - doesn’t make any sense! Don’t go to that one! Lol. All the best on your fitness journey!

I went to college at West Virginia University. The Exercise Physiology program was a PreMed program, and if I remember right, I had to take an Organic Chemistry class as well. The Chiropractic Colleges give a list on prerequisites to get in the program. Some also provide a pre-chiropractic degree like Human Biology at Palmer College of Chiropractic as well.

Thanks for the info I'm one of those persons who need to know the "why" behind the action and you've done a great job with this especially when you showed why the person running may feel pain in their ankle. I never knew why that happens to me I just thought I needed more work on my hamstring. Thanks for sharing that tidbit. You have presented a lot of information and I think it will take several reruns before I can grasp all you have presented but it's worth it. Thanks again for the great video!

You added SO much amazing info to this video! I am kinda crushing on you right now because of how well you present these points!! I'm a massage therapist and recently I've had to basically learn to walk again after tearing one of my most medial hamstrings (more likely my intermuscular septum). It's been a long process since I didn't act as soon as I should have in physical therapy but now I'm seeing amazing results from my training. I will be sharing this video with clients who really need to understand how the lower body functions! So grateful for you and your synthesis.

All your videos are true to the name Redefining Strength. The scientific insight you provide to the why of doing any movement and/or exercise and the progression of a routine is comprehensive. Even if one mutes your explanations, just watching your posture and the clearness of your movements is education enough as to how to do any stretch or exercise properly and correctly. Thank you.

Thank you for this very informative video! I only wish I had this when I seriously injured my lower back 4 years ago.
Through lots of appointments with my (trusted) chiropractor, we determined at the time that it was something deep within my hip that caused the injury. I have a feeling that because my glutes weren't activating properly, a lot of the very tiny muscles deep within my hip like piriformis and glute minimus got way too tight.
Through slowly-introduced glute and other core training over the course of a year (due to the amount of pain I was in, this was difficult and took some time for me to not feel pain anymore), I built up the strength in my glutes. I realized that prior to training my glutes and activating them properly, whenever I walked, the motion was coming from my quads, and when I stepped off the sidewalk to cross the road, I pulled something and that's when the back pain started.
Now, years later, I've noticed the following: 1) I can walk MUCH faster without additional effort 2) I can sprint/run much faster even though I'm neither a sprinter nor runner 3) When I walk, all the power comes from my glutes and most importantly 4) the back pain hasn't returned and when I do feel a bit of tension in my lower back, I know exactly which muscles need to be worked on.
