the PKP was my favorite gun in Bad Company 2 and Battlefield 3. Glad to see its on the track to being my favorite in BF4 as well.

I got to say Matimi0 u did a hell of a job keeping your cool against that 5-6 man squad on Paracel Storm. U totally destroyed them, they could barely pull of any shots on you. Total overkill. This is why i love using LMG's, flank an entire squad.

Then I was watching one of LevelCap's double vision videos and realized I had forgotten about your channel! Came here and you've got tons of BF4 videos! You are my hero for this week, haha

can't you buy it on current gen then upgrade for like 5 bucks? i remember hearing about that before release, don't remember which games you could do it for though.
Noah Agosta I'm sure you can, but from the sounds of it BF4 on current gen is pretty pathetic. I'd rather stick with BF3 and get the full experience on next-gen. I thought the beta on PS3 was pretty weak. Graphics weren't great, and gameplay wasn't anything to write home about. When i hopped on youtube to watch some other beta footage and saw what the PC was like, I didn't play the BF4 beta for the rest of its duration. Like I said, I want the full immersion experience =p

I love the PKP. It feel so smooth and is very manageable when taking out targets at a distance.

I have an absolutely amazing idea when it comes to Levolution for the upcoming DLC's. What do you guys think of having a Planes in the air so that you can shoot one of them down. This would add a totally new look to the map and it can change the way you play. if you shoot down one plane every other plane would diseappear so that we won't get ruined by crashing planes. Do you like this idea?
I scratched my head after that too. I wasn't sure what they were thinking.
Thanks Matimio!!! I am sill struggling with that gun (playing on ps3) and switching often for caribines. The BF4 maps do no offer many bottleneck crowded places for using this kind of guns to their full potential :(
this gun, along with m240b and m60 are the LMGesus of the lmg world
As a console player I have not bought the game yet. I will not buy ps4 so for christmas I'll build a computure instead and hopfully (depends on the prices) I'll get one that can handle ultra with 60+ fps. Finally I leave the consoles! :)

This has become my new favorite LMG - but the stats are so close to the LSAT that I think I want to go back to using that one - even though the damage model is less - it's a more consistent weapon.
I unlocked all the LMG's and I have to say I love the RPK. It has such a fast reload.
I like that you play the game as it is intended to be played, in my opinion
I figured it out, man. UA-camrs are just blessed by Caerus, the greek god of perfect opportunities.

Let's see some shottey gameplay. I have not seen any other commentators do anything good on them. I just unlocked the UTS the other day and that thing is a beast.
You throw it to light up and area or mark a target for helicopters and jets. It works, very effective from the gameplay i've seen.
I'm deffinitely buying this game soon!
Well, looks like my BF3 load out is making a comeback! I got so many kills with the PKP. Now that it's been slightly improved, I'll hopefully be able to double that number.
The PKP Pecheneg is the best LMG in existence in the battlefield series well for me it is :) its just a beast if you pick that weapon with the right attachments and if u got some experience with it you will be unstoppable

Hey Matimi0 I have noticed you are using alot of different types of grenades in your gameplay could you please do a review of all the different types of grenades and your thoughts on them.

Hey Matimi0 you unlocked the hand flare in one of your clips. I didn't even know that was a thing, and it seems like no one has any post launch videos about it. Can you do a video about the hand flares including the other grenades as well? Is it just a nod to dinosaur mode, or does it actually do something useful?
I always run bipod on the pecheneg. No matter which distance the people always die really fast.
You need to do a comparison video of the M240B! Show any & all differences it has compared to the PKP.

hey matimio can you please do a weapons guide on the ACW-R next? i find that no matter how i play or what attachments i use i just cant seem to get a drop on anyone and even though i shoot first i die with them at low health

Hey Matimi0 i saw you got the hand flare which means you have unlocked all the grenades in the game, i was wondering if you could do a grenade guide so to speak, for example showing us where and how to use certain grenades to our advantage? just a thought
Love the pkp and had planned on using it as my go to support weapon... until I unlocked and used the m240b. When I compared stats and played with them both, for me at least, the m240b wins. It has higher recoil but higher rate of fire with a higher bullet speed with the same damage.
Such a great weapon! If you are going on defence grab a bipod and you can easily get 10+ kill streaks with this weapon and turn a game around
I started using my support it last night to try and upgrade my weapons, i figured out that these lmg's are vastly more accurate than they were in BF3, if you burst fire them. At full auto you wouldn't be able to hit a barn if it was right in front of you.
Here's the abridged version: If God somehow blesses you w/ a battlepack for that gun that has a folding grip and coyote RDS, then there's your combo. I prefer a comp on it too since the vertical recoil is less of a bother than the muzzle drift, and a laser sight will do fine.

I'm an absolute beast with it. I raw dog-it with iron sights, red dot, and bipod. Light people up light christmas trees, up close and at distance. I'm effective up to about 125 meters with this weapon. It bucks like a mule, but when you reign it in, it can get some work done.

After some of the comments Matimio made, I was checking the comments to see if all the bipod pros were flaming him like they do lvlcap.

Cool advice personally I like setting up a machine gun nest on some elevated level *second story window,ect* watching over a road or path near an objective..with a bipod and some scope with a bit of zoom..like the ACOG or something...burst fire only...unless it's a whole squad hassling my squad..then it's suppression time.. :D Mind you..that's the tactic I used in BF3...I have yet to unlock any belt fed LMG yet... -.-

Matimi0, could you please do a video on the SCAR-H? I'm a big fan of the G3A3 from the previous few installments of BF and was sad to see that it isn't included in BF4, yet. However since DICE have decided to switch the SCAR-H from carbine to assault I was wondering how it stacks up to the G3?
Once i unlocked it and played my first round on floodzone i knew it was going to be one of my bread and butter guns. the iron sights are perfect, but it does need a compensator which i dont have unlocked yet

I'm on the opposite side of the fence. Granted I haven't played around that much with the M240b, but my god that thing kicks like a mule! I think it has the most recoil of any gun in the game(?)
What attachments do you use on the M240b if I may ask?
One major correction (and it's one a lot of youtubers seem to make).
You CAN NOT negate horizontal recoil, you can only balance it out.
A weapon with 0.25 - 0.25 horizontal recoil isn't worse than one with 0 - 0.50.
A 0 - 0.50 weapon can NOT be turned into a 0 - 0 weapon; if you compensate for the pull to the right you get 0.25 - 0.25.
I wish youtube would stop spreading false information like this :(
You'll find that the LMG's have ridiculous recoil (especially the PKP and M240B), but when you learn to manage it, you'll be an unstopable beast. I personally use the M240B all the time, but when on close quarter maps, the LSAT is by far the best LMG to use.

Usually the game will tell you there is an update, and you just press ok and itll take care of the rest. I think this applies to PC too, but they usually update it right when you open Origin
i personally am a die hard support player and ive gotten around 400kills with the type-88 then like 200 with mg4 and 200 with mg42...havent picked up the pkp but it seems like the type-88 with more stopping power ill try her out :D thanks
Can you do a weapon review of the AK12 Matimi0? It's a great beginners weapon but what attachments do you think puts it up against the other Assault rifles?

Decent gun good damage.
For some damn reason DICE (or EA) decided to tease us w/ it, but it remains out of the vanilla game. My guess is that the footage of the M60 we saw was from pre-release versions of the Xbox One and Second Assault DLC weapons. I'm guess we will see it in MP, just not yet. Who knows, it might come in China Rising for whatever reason

Thank you for that, Captain Obvious. I can manage recoil as well as the next guy. Hell, with the M249 for a time, I was nearly unstoppable. I used that, and the PKP on Noshar Canals TDM, and absolutely destroyed people regularly, and on Operation Metro, I even got a hate message for killing a guy 6 times in a row. His fault. I was good with the PKP on any map, really, so I know what to expect.

Can I ask about your thoughts on suppressors on your LMGs, and the effectiveness of hidden suppression?
9:17, perhaps it's because this is just a highlight reel, but you seem to survive engagements where I would normally die before I even got the first incoming hit notification. Where the hell do you find these servers? I haven't joined a single server in the past week without a level 60 dude wrecking my face within seconds of spawning.

after Rank 20, the battlepacks you get go from bronze to silver. Im assuming after rank 40 or so, you'll start getting gold battlepacks every two ranks
