So Bryce committed to LSU, committed to the coaches, players and new recruits for almost a year before signing day eliminating any chance of other QB recruits looking at LSU and he decides to flip 2 weeks before signing day. I’m not sure the word ‘flip’ is sufficient enough. No wonder Saban was done with this shit.

Anticipating interior pressure from OU may have to have plan to move the pocket. Also Ou will disguise coverage and roll coverage never giving Nuss a clear look. Running the ball is important but that pistol run needs to be eliminated everyone knows we are running. We need to throw out pistol behind the lb. Also give Hilton easy catches first before just running him deep.

I loathe the word commitment and decommittment in college sports talk. If you decommitt, then u never committed in the first place or at least you broke your word which means you are not trustworthy or worse lack integrity. We live in a world for sometime now where a person’s word has no value for so many people globally. Similarly, in the NFL, Alvin Kamara disputed his contract yet he agreed to it by signing it. Coaches are to blame too for not honoring a players’ contract. Greed.

Why does no one say that Perkins was the massive issue for LSU and we got better right away and stayed better ever since he got hurt. He needs to go to the NFL with Nuss and never look back. Neither are good enough to help their draft stock. The will end up un-drafted. Perkins just takes up a spot of an actual Line backer. He can't hit can't get off blocks and doesn't tackle well in any space tight wide open doesn't matter. He is a RB or a Safety. Anything else he is too small and he doesn't like to hit. I have no idea why people think Perkins is so good after 1 semi ok Freshman year. He just had 1 amazing game and been riding that 3 years lol. Whatever Kelly won't let this team win. He can't coach in tight spots and it's the same shit he did at ND.

Grown men need to stop fawning over teenagers and throwing money at them like desperate old men throwing money at strippers.
I'm so tired or hearing "short passes are an extension of the running game." OK, then running the ball with a running back should be called "attitude plays." Football is a game of imposing your will on another man through physical means. Line up and whoop the guy across from you. Can't do that constantly backing up to pass block. And it's contagious to both sides of the ball. LSU isn't the only team guilty of it, but for most of the season they didn't play with an attitude.

There is no way around this. There was no progress to see over the season like you did with JJ and the baseball team last year. They needed a bit to get rollin but you could see they getting there. Yea the playcalling has been pretty bad throughout the course of the season Matt. A lot of our offense on the whole was quite difficult to watch. Quit calling out fans for pointing that out. We know that there are a lot of factors. I'm not solely blaming playcalling but it WAS awful many games this year. Throwing the ball 2-3 three yards down the field on 3rd and 9 how many times this year. Getting a first down and then running up the gut for no gain how many times. I could easily go on. You're not in a giant argument with LSU fans and you don't know more than all of us dude. Some of us study this stuff as much as anyone, we just aren't getting paid for it yet. Yes i'm glad we got Nuss playing instinctive. Playcalling looked a bit better vs Vandy but you're defending something that is unanimously considered bad/weird playcalling. The only point someone like me is making is that the playcalling could most definitely be much better.

Matt, PFF grades are for scouts bro, fans don’t care about that ! We care about whether our qb can play composed when the game is on the line without throwing picks or fumbling. Whether he’ll make a gritty run to pickup a 1st during the flow of a game, and not just when we’re in do or die catchup mode. Whether he’ll just hit the check down receiver/back instead of forcing deep balls unnecessarily down field. So you can keep your PFF stats, because that’s what I care about !

Brian Kelly's only high pressure situation prior to coming to Baton Rouge was Notre Dame. The rest of his coaching stints shrink to insignificance.

Man that’s so profound. Kelly lacks experience.

@badsabre5917 Noone said Kelly lacks experience. Matt implied that Kelly has had high pressure situations wherever he's coached. Not true. But coaching at Notre Dame is as high pressure as it gets in the world of college football.

@@tomneff7030exactly! If you think it’s easy to coach at Notre dame with lesser talent than other playoff teams then those fans don’t know anything

Wow… you guys are coping so hard lol… if Bryce was still committed to LSU you’d be praising him the same way you have been for the last year. Bottom line is.. the SEC has gotten really good at paying players under the table. Now that paying players is on the up and up… the big 10 will begin dominating the SEC within a couple of years. NIL was the worst thing that could have happened to SEC. BTW… Meadows will end up at Michigan as well.

Bryce is not even what we need right now so in a way it's definitely a positive. Focus on the whole team top to bottom because that's who wins championships. Jayden Daniels would have never won a championship with how bad the rest of our team was last year.

WOW. Little boy go away. Better get your tampon in place because you'll be gushing blood after OSU. Bragging about overpaying for a kid 40 miles from your campus should be beneath any big time program. He knew Michiganwas not the place to develop him. Too much money thrown at him to turn down. He'll regret his decision. But he'll still be rich now that he's been bought and paid for.
