Honestly, it sounds like the guy is just not that good in the SEC. He didn’t live up to the money so they brought in Sage. I think the younger players need the opportunity to prove themselves and their potential will outlast this guy on the market!

I'm sorry but Gilbert played way better at safety than Sage Ryan. I don't know how they are grading these players but they wrong to have Ryan with a higher grade. I swear he can't cover. He takes the worst angles consistently every week. He's a half-assed tackler. Gilbert is a better takler, a willing takler although He could use improvement. His coverage is hit or miss but it's decent, not great and he don't take bad angles. So even if he don't make the play, at least he can affect it but getting in the way and slowing the ball carrier up possibly. Sage Ryan does none of that.

With NIL being in play, why can't they also be contracts drawn up to where if the player accepts the money then they can't transfer out the program for x amount of years or whatever to protect the university. And if they do decide to leave, they have to buy themselves out of the country like a coach would

They may have an Offensive lineman and a safety like that entering the portal, but every big money school will be on them as well. So its not a sure thing that LSU wiĺl land said players. They said they had DT's coming in last year. We shall see. Commitment doesnt mean anything no more.

Yes we need a proven safety who’s good in the portal but I say we just wait till the bowl game to see if any talented safeties step up from the roster like spears, toviano and even, Joel Rodger’s. We haven’t seen much of these guys and when we do, you see flashes of what could be🤷🏽‍♂️

LSU will not be a better improved team on the field if they don't get at least two more offensive lineman in the portal. All those great WR mean nothing if you can't get the ball to them. And I'd say the defense is already better but 1 or 2 safety's added wouldn't hurt

This is easy on Jack Pyburns lack of pash rush snaps. He’s got a black dline coach Gerald Chatman. He doesn’t believe the white dlineman Jack is “athletic enough for pass rushing downs. So Chatman puts the black players in on those downs. It was probably comforting getting to play for Peeples a white coach who won’t have that bias. It’s like Cortez Hankton telling Jack Bech he won’t play at lsu. Not believing in the white receiver who is now killing it at TCU. Sad.

Congratulations to Miles Frazier. Kid went from a group of 5 to starting 3yrs at an SEC level program. He can definitely be a long time starter in the NFL with that position flexibility!
