Wow, two nights under the stars in the mountains looks amazing! 🌌⛺ Windy and cold definitely adds to the adventure, but those views must’ve been totally worth it. Loving the detailed gear list too - super helpful for anyone planning something similar. Thanks for sharing this awesome trip! Really nice video!🙌

Another very well edited, competent video with scenic and engaging footage. How do you have less than 4k subs!?

This is his English language channel, guess some experiment. The original one is in German "Stefan Berger".

Next video needs to be on flat ground so I can keep my eyes open and not hide behind my hands on those mountains, lol. Another great video.

Thank you for the video. The unidentified birds judging by their size (and numbers) were Griffon Vultures.

🥾Nice to see your hike! What's the name of this mountain or massif Steve?
🦯Do you carry your trekking poles just to set up your tarp? You don't use them to help you walk?
💡You have to explain to us how you know what the temperature's going to be like up there!
And how do you know how to anticipate the cold, the need for a tent or if the tarp will be enough, etc.? It's really hard to imagine all that if you've never done it.
And I have to learn, because in 2025 I'm going to be bivouacking at altitudes of 2,500-3,000 meters! Thanks Steve 🤙

    Excellent adventure.
Also didn't know that you could use your coffee pot on an induction hob!

I think the birds were a vulture of some sort. here in new england (usa) we see these birds through october into november as they migrate south. they are truly huge (wingspan nearly 2 meters), they also travel in groups as you saw. another really great video. thank-you for sharing.

excellent video! i think a bivvy bag is good as long as you are not too hot inside of it (conditions permitting). since i sleep very very warm (sweaty) i usually try to be careful to not have too much insulation but then it becomes hard to add and remove it from a bivvy! last winter i camped on a local beach in scotland at -6C in my x-mid and the only part of the bivvy that was wet was at the head end where my breath had concentrated.
