All the people commenting on how unsafe it looks, they're in a neighborhood in south Tel Aviv called Florentine. Yes the buildings are rundown, but Florentine is where most of the big popular clubs are, it's one of the party neighborhoods of Tel Aviv. The city is also remarkably safe. Like, I live just north of the Yarkon River (In a neighborhood called Ramat Aviv, also called 'The New North') but I routinely find myself wandering around down in central or south Tel Aviv at like 3 in the morning and I have never had a problem. Whatever the security situation for the whole of the country might be, Tel Aviv has one of the lowest crime rates for an urban center its size in the world. It might look dirty, but it's plenty safe. Side note: About all the graffiti they showed, Tel Aviv doesn't really have designated graffiti areas (Like some cities do), but the city government is SUPER proud of the street artists. Taggers can get fined, but usually they're left alone and even encouraged to tag stuff. Hell, the city runs graffiti tours down in Florentine to show it all off. There's some sick art down there.
I like that you vlogged the industrial parts of Israel. that's realness. The real parts of a neighborhood where everyday people live. everyone else is hoping to see the touristy pretty places in videos but that doesn't show the true authenticity of a country. there's something charming about gritty imperfect urban neighborhoods
that not where everyday people live, that is one of the most neglected neighbourhoods in Israel- I live in Israel and that is not how my every day looks like
I love how the window sign at 1:14 says "Authentic Isreali Food". -Like how hard is it to get Isreali food in Isreal? -Are there places whose Isreali food is more Isreali food than Isreal? -Why is it called Isreali food, shouldn't it just be called food? -Why is that a point of advertisement, is there an epidemic of non-authentic Israeli food in the country!? -Why is it in English, shouldn't they advertise authentic Isreali food in Hebrew only, for authenticity!? -Why is it facing inside, aren't people inside likely customers and don't need convincing? -Why is the sign small, is authentic Israeli food important enough to mention but unimportant enough make a big deal of!? -By definition shouldn't all Isreali food be authentic anyway!? Are there counterfeit Isreals making non-authentic foods to fool people!? This is honestly the most perplexing sign I've ever seen.
It is a tourist trap, that is why it is in English, to get tourists to come in and think they are getting a "authentic Israeli experience". and I'll bet you that is says the same thing on the other side of the sign so it is not in the wrong direction. From an authentic Israeli person.
Most of this is filmed in southern Tel Aviv, which is quite run down an neglected. But it attracts a lot of young people, and is currently going through a process of gentrification. The northern part of Tel Aviv is wealthier and appears much more orderly and greener, with open spaces and proper wiring.

People who are saying Israel looks bad need to realize the specific neighborhood they're in. Israel is literally the NYC of the Middle East, surrounded by an entire region that's 3rd world levels of poverty everywhere you turn. Realize that a couple of miles up the road from Israel, and you're in Syria where half a million people have died in the past year, or a couple of miles down the road, Iraq where ISIS is fucking shit up. Israel has the highest level of technological advancements in the entire region, and there's some *very* expensive neighborhoods that rivals living in Bel Air. There's a reason Eithan & Hila are chilin' taking shots and enjoying life in a country that actually allows for full protection of rights and liberties, while being in a region that's filled with absolute heinous terrorism and destruction.
When other youtubers make vlogs in other countries they always do it in tourist attraction areas or their nice hotel making me feel jealous. This vlog is the exact opposite and it makes me feel great for not being able to afford to travel. Thanks Ethan and Hila!
Ahh, Israel is awesome though. It's like the middle east but without all the women in garbage bags and men smoking shisha all day. There's no place like it, you have shitholes like Florentin and a few hundred metres on you have ultra modern skyscrapers.
No but i remember on the video where Ethan & Hila addressed the 'Miss the old Ethan' comments, on the Reddit page for it, someone said that Hila used to edit them, but it started getting really overwhelming for her so they got someone else to. (I think it was a moderator on their Reddit page...)

The bird flying by their old apartment @ 3:11 is a perfect metaphor for Hila&Ethan moving on to a future full of ✌🏽 & 💗, also some swattings & Papa convos
Briel Woods Some graffiti is used as legal artwork for empty walls and such. But when people cover trucks with their signature that is against the law.
I love how open Ethan is about his hate for Israel. Wonder if he sits eating dinner with Hila's family and is all like "Your country is fucking horrible. If Earth had an asshole, it would be right here"
He was only talking about the slums, every country has slums and every country has nice parts. If you go to Israel you go to it for the Old City of Jerusalem, it's a nation for the religious.
They focus on their podcast now, H3 Podcast. If you haven't seen it there's SO much content for you to watch! I don't think they plan to return to either channel, they're no longer vlogging and they typically cover topics on the podcast now instead of making h3h3productions videos. Hope this helps :)

DISLIKE MY VIDEO yeah kinda, i live in a small town in israel that is divided by letters A,B,D are clean, but area C and some of B look ghetto as fuck.
Ra'anan 34! No way, I live there!!!! They converted the rug store on the first floor into studios. And yes, the alarms are still a major problem it SUCKS.
As an Israeli, I feel obligated to weigh in on this. 1. Israel, for the most part, isn't really that much of a shithole. Actually if I had to guess, I'd say most of it are boring suburbs that look 10 times nicer and are 10 times more boring than the area they were walking in (Florentin) 2. As they explained, Tel Aviv is not even remotely close to being a ghost town. They were just hanging out in a deep part of the city, and it was saturday (Shabbat) which means most businesses are closed and thus people don't have much to look for during that timeframe. 3. Florentin is actually considered a "cool" place to live in, despite it's shitty looks. Same reason why people would live in NY suburbs, or any other deeper neighbourhoods in your ordinary European city. It has lots of businesses that are open until late, and it's a great attraction for people who're into nightlife & artsy stuff. Just my 2 cents in case someone actually gives a shit
boys im spanish too but im not saying its bad its just that most of the hoods like the 70% look exactly like that just needs some graffitis and it looks like barcelona haha. Spain*

#ethanandhilaabouttofighth3h32017
Romanke #EthanandHilaVSh3h32k17
Romanke world star! World star! Whirl star!
I heard H3H3 is going to sue Ethan and Hila, so they made a FUPA escrow account to fight the lawsuit.
PhrozenFox oh shit
Times were easier back then. I miss it.
H3H3 but every time Hila says "yeah" it gets faster
i cant believe how much i missed this channel and these kinds of videos
The bird flying by their old apartment @ 3:11 is a perfect metaphor for Hila&Ethan moving on to a future full of ✌🏽 & 💗, also some swattings & Papa convos
yikes
Damn the art in israel is AWESOME I love it!
It's like that in most European places - not that Israel is in Europe but it is very similar.
Mexico City's got artwork on every corner too
It's also vandalism but I guess they look cool so it's okay
Never said anything about it being 'okay' and some buildings let artists do that too, so you never know. :3
Briel Woods Some graffiti is used as legal artwork for empty walls and such. But when people cover trucks with their signature that is against the law.
is this the place every single call of duty map was based off of?
No most parts of israel dont look this bad
CoD4 mp_district...
hahahahahahahaha
The sign at the end of the video says " don't come in unless you plan on getting drunk"
the frenemie graffiti at 7:05 omg that future prediction
I love how open Ethan is about his hate for Israel. Wonder if he sits eating dinner with Hila's family and is all like "Your country is fucking horrible. If Earth had an asshole, it would be right here"
Nah, I think he only goofs in the videos lol
Lewis Parry yeah, but he says true things hahaha
He was only talking about the slums, every country has slums and every country has nice parts.
If you go to Israel you go to it for the Old City of Jerusalem, it's a nation for the religious.
Far better than any other country in the region.
Still not as bad as anywhere else in that area.
That song they used was good, anyone know the name of it? 6:36
Joseph Bowman you support a shite team
Treat me this Way - Otis McDonald
nigeltheoutlaw ty
Just look up the lyrics
Literally didn't even notice this was on Ethan and Hila instead of H3H3 until Ethan says so.
why is there no more videos like this being uploaded in this channel and h3h3 productions?
ikr i miss them so much
They focus on their podcast now, H3 Podcast. If you haven't seen it there's SO much content for you to watch! I don't think they plan to return to either channel, they're no longer vlogging and they typically cover topics on the podcast now instead of making h3h3productions videos. Hope this helps :)
Money and money, also money. Oh yeah and money.
@@PRubin-rh4sr Well that's depressing to hear after a year
At the end, does she say that it's closed?
Frank Castle was wondering the same thing , couldnt hear
Sounded like she said it takes card, could be wrong.
Nitrxgen I thought maybe she said closed.
Frank Castle the sign?... if so then it says (Good morning)
Human Being No, I thought maybe she said closed like she read the sign and said that.
People.. please stop thinking that street is what all of tel aviv looks like -_-
DISLIKE MY VIDEO oh i get it
You're right. That's the nice part.
What are you on with these replies ? these streets aren't just the oldest and ugliest in tel aviv, but a part of the oldest and ugliest in the country
i said a part of
וחייב להודות שהייתי בבני ברק לא פעם ולא פעמיים, והמראה של הרחובות ממש לא שונה במיוחד מרחוב פלורנטין או כל רחוב פצוע אחר בתל אביב או יפו
DISLIKE MY VIDEO yeah kinda, i live in a small town in israel that is divided by letters A,B,D are clean, but area C and some of B look ghetto as fuck.
Wow Ethan, great moves, keep it up!
Proud of you!
Ra'anan 34! No way, I live there!!!! They converted the rug store on the first floor into studios. And yes, the alarms are still a major problem it SUCKS.
I hope they see this
I hope they interview you on after dark and you guys can just complain about the landlord
As an Israeli, I feel obligated to weigh in on this.
1. Israel, for the most part, isn't really that much of a shithole. Actually if I had to guess, I'd say most of it are boring suburbs that look 10 times nicer and are 10 times more boring than the area they were walking in (Florentin)
Israel looks so much like Barcelona, that "bad" neighbourhood looks like a typical hood on Spai xd.
AnikilBithcesWTF mmmm not really, I have never seen that shit in my life and I am spanish
AnikilBithcesWTF I live in spin and some bad parts in downtown look like that but a little better
AnikilBithcesWTF I visited Barca a few years back and all is see is hood girls with black babies lmao
AnikilBithcesWTF that's so true lmao
boys im spanish too but im not saying its bad its just that most of the hoods like the 70% look exactly like that just needs some graffitis and it looks like barcelona haha. Spain*
YES!! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!!
I AM SO HAPPY ABOUT THIS!
ETHAN FINALLY SHAVED HIS CLOWN HAIR!
lol I noticed too
at least it wasn't red
You’re the only UA-camr where I like to rewatch your videos and I normally don’t do vlogs as well but you guys are just fun and wholesome to watch
