These are such great tips Noah..I went through the video a few times to make sure I don't miss out on using any of the ten tips. Thank you for such a great video.
Well, you certainly crushed it here. I ran the first 10 sec of this video multiple times to make sure what you said with 'sexy', and then onward you had my attention. :)
Hey Noah, thank you so much for these great tips. I appreciate the advice. This is my first time assisting in a Zoom presentation. I was asked to help organize the questions participants may ask (write) and present them to the instructor. Any advice? Thanks again for your video. I appreciate any advice you can give me.
@@noahkagan Wow, Noah! I didn't expect to get an answer so quickly. I was hoping, but you totally came through with your reply. Thanks! I'm going to do Google docs and see how it goes. Again, thank you so much.
10 Tips on Running a Non-Sucky Webinar 1 - Open strong and bring your energy: have some fun, unique, non-boring openings to make people feel welcome. For example, "what's your mood 1-5?" or "Why do you love XYZ?" 0:16 2 - Have something to get the audience engaged in the chat. For example, give out shirts to a random audience member. Give out shirts or stickers or whatever. 1:13
3 - Use "The Lion King Effect" to demonstrate results. For example, create a challenge for one audience member at the beginning of the webinar and then follow up with them at the end of the webinar to check on their progress. 0:51 4 - Benefit immediate group: open a Google Spreadsheet or a Google Doc for the webinar session. Here's an example: have audience members put something they need in one column of a Google Spreadsheet and put something they can help in a second column. Everyone gets a copy of the spreadsheet after. 2:17 5 - Have something to share on social media. Put something in the beginning that audience members can tweet or share on Instagram during the webinar. Remember: create a special hashtag, and give them the content upfront to make it super easy. 3:01 6 - Give them something useful for attending your webinar. Examples: free eBook, discount codes for your product or a partner product. Remember to include an expiration date on it. 3:32 7 - Connect attendees with each other! The more that you connect people and act as the connection or help people get to know each other, the better. Book recommendation: Never Eat Alone by Keith Ferrazzi 4:01 8 - Get people talking about themselves. Have attendees share their URLs, post their challenges, share their favorite client stories. Warning: don't focus just on one individual person because other attendees will start to zone out. 4:59 9 - Slides....can help you. But watch out they don't make you too dull. Slides to provide a lot of consistency to help you hone your message over time. But do not just read the slides. 6:08 10 - Call to action. When you are finished with the webinar, make sure you have something very specific that your audience can take action with. 6:45
