My professor in college used to start every class saying "sex, drugs, money" to get people's attention. Worked every time. Try to pepper your presentation with "wake up sentences". Even if you are not religious, watch the evangelists' speak,....it's ridiculous, but they really belt out the message to keep people engaged!
Based on the summary of the video, here are some actionable lessons in bullet points: * **Become your own boss:** Don't rely on a W-2 job to become a billionaire. Pursue entrepreneurship and take ownership of your work. * **Identify and create new markets:** Look for unmet needs or gaps in the market and create solutions for them. Don't be afraid to chase seemingly crazy ideas. * **Be persistent:** Building a successful billion-dollar company takes time and perseverance. Believe in yourself and your vision even when faced with initial challenges.

Um, I'm pivoting my live and I haven't had success yet. However, what is being said in this video and the interviews is resonating. Hearing James's experience of how he saw his own value. With myself being a former enlisted Marine, and hearing James say he turned down 100k to re-enlist because his happiness value was greater than the money value. Then hearing him say, No, to an employer, because they were demanding that he do the job of three people but at the same pay. He didn't roll over an accept that...look at him now. This is powerful and empowering. Thank you for sharing.
Just starting pivoting your life in the right direction and having these principles of success resonate with you os already a success in progress!!! Congrats! Majority don’t even watch these videos because their mentality is still being broke.

Low cost lifestyle. Billionaires create their market. Okay being boring. Their attitude towards money never changes, Billionaires make 10 figures doing just one thing. Billionaires pay the price.

Hi Noah, Just came across this video. I loved it! I’m a just retired teacher and always felt we were never paid our worth. I have to say growing up in poverty we were raised with the W2 mentality. Go to school and get a good job and work for others forever. I always wanted my freedom but family and life gets to go first and my generation was about working hard and bring home a steady paycheck. Great video.
So many gems here: instead of being a rote tutorial, we’re all able to walk away from this with more life wisdom about being purposeful entrepreneurs. Awesome content Noah, thanks for looking out to make sure we pave our way to entrepreneurship success with deliberate thought, self-awareness and most importantly a solid dose of reality!
Solid insights on the billionaire mindset, especially the part about creating their market. For entrepreneurs, remember that market creation often involves educating your audience, not just selling to them - it's about creating the need and then fulfilling it.
It is very crucial to know that planning to earn in today's market is an intricate process that necessitates not only strategic foresight but also expert guidance. It's paramount to align ourselves with seasoned financial advisors who can steer our investments toward optimal growth.
Prioritizing effective personal finance management holds greater significance than the sheer amount saved, irrespective of income source. Consulting a certified financial advisor can offer tailored strategies to optimize financial results by reducing expenses and enhancing income, regardless of whether it's earned through employment or investments.
Absolutely. I recently connected with Folmar Advisory, a reputable advisory firm that matches individuals with skilled financial advisors. Their personalized approach has had a positive impact on my financial journey.
I discovered Folmar Advisory through online search of the name. Their commitment to client satisfaction and financial education is impressive. They connect clients with advisors who align with their goals and values.
It is important to know your Enough! Although billionaire status is achievable, as you said, “The level of sacrifice is not worth it.” The missed life opportunity cost to get there leaves a lot of relationships and life experiences unfulfilled.
I really relate to James. Thanks for doing that interview. As I go from Corporate to working for myself, you make business/financial decisions that can sink you. I really relate to the 60!!! dollar steak. I do feel like someone slaps me across the face when its a blatant ripoff. I have one rule: "don't argue with money.".
There's also luck involved, being the right man at the right time. When Microsoft went public, Bill Gates was amazed by its value, he couldn't have imagined it.
My Dad was always working when I was growing up 80hrs a week. I never saw him. With a divorce by my mom because she was lonely. ( understandable ). My dad made a life. Started a successful business and current till this day. He proud and he should be. But we will always remember not having him around. Ok to be dramatic lol My pops and I are great now but I think family is the most important thing. My wife, my kids. All they need is for me to be around and be apart of they’re lives. Moneys second for me or wealth. Always has been. I thank my Dad for that.
Funny how there are many billionaires who have made their wealth from selling really expensive stuff like real estate or luxury goods but yet they themselves live frugally.

Good video Noah. I’m glad that you are using far less profanity now. I don’t see billionaires using profanity, at least not publicly. Some UA-camrs make the mistake of thinking that they will appeal to a wider viewer base by using cuss words or that they appear “cool” or “manly” by swearing, but they are appealing to low class and crude people, and not refined and excellent people who are successes and who are conscious of their public image. After all, if you want to teach us how to become billionaires, then the best way is to model their behaviour and not the behaviour of losers.
Noah, I love your stuff interviewing people that build something. This may be completely off-topic, I'd love to see a long reaction vid of the HBO show silicon valley
Not real wisdom. We're looking at NBA legend all stars here. Look at how many people tried to be in the NBA and failed, how many in the NBA failed, how many were mediocre. Yes sexy to talk about the super successful, but be aware of the risks and luck required. And do you really want to be a billionaire? I'd rather have a fulfilling life where I have enough.
- Could the reason you don't like to pay $20k for business class perhaps be that your frugal lifestyle used to be your ticket to freedom, a badge of honor...
