I've been saying this for years. True irony is watching two employees at the front of the Home Depot (where they have 12 self checkout registers) arguing about who's going to be the new head cashier.

Thanks for the report! I do not shop at Walmart because the size and parking is just overwhelming. Unfortunately I do not think this is a new phenomenon. Walmart came in and took over the K-Mart business. Dollar stores took over the local five and dimes. I feel that when we became a disposable society, cheaper to replace than repair, we invited the large conglomerates in to take over businesses. Now I do not find them to be any less expensive than any other store. Just my thoughts.

Another great info. Thank you Tim! Every report has so much info to think about.
Unfortunately Walmart will win on prices, and when times are tough, people will have no loyalty but shop where prices are cheaper 😫

I didn't know that Walmart beats you up on price when selling a product. I'm working on selling on Amazon and was thinking if I work my way up to Walmart, I'd have it made, but I guess not. Speaking of Walmart, we are trying to ween ourselves off of Walmart, but it's not easy. We definitely don't buy any meats from them. Their meats have made us sick far too many times. Again, another great video.

I also see walmart as the main vector for all the cheap stuff being imported from China. Not only does it stagnate certain areas by suppressing growth of any small business because only the other major retail chains can compete. It also was a major contributor of them overshoring production and selling cheap garbage here before Amazon and others existed

Hey Tim, great job. Now if you stop using my name in the channel you and have less words in the title, I bet you get more views. Just a thought

Voice inflection, put your face on every thumbnail, and find a solution for the audio so there isn't background noise.
      I'm curious what ninja uses.

I had an old coworker who was excited when he did an internship at Walmart. He did exactly what you said, he was given a price point that Walmart claimed they needed (to make more profit) the intern increased the # Walmart gave him because he was a sales guy that wanted to brag on his resume.
Long story short, he got the target he was asking for and 10 years later the company later went out of business when they lost the contract.
But that's business on the corporate level.
      Always buy local.

Whenever a major brand like Wal-Mart moves in, the property taxes spike
