One last tip: do not pull TOO MANY students from ONE SCHOOL - you won't be able to build and use nearly all of them. Space those pulls out, you can always get them off-banner/on the rerun. Gehenna and Trinity are most guilty of this, as they contain the most meta units.
Gehenna is busting me , there are too many that are so good. Aru, Mitsuki x2, Iroha, Iori, Kayoko (NY) and Ako then Dress Hina (borrow her) soon. Really struggle on Blue rays and notes.

@@FinalHero1 then focus on NY Fuuka, D. Hina, and Ako for now. Also NY Kayoko, Iroha and NY Mutsuki for blue, keep your skills at lvl 7 instead of maxing.
UI’s cost at lvl 5 is only 3. I think this means she should be put up a whole tier

You're right, yet it really doesn't impact her placement in the pull priority tierlist - my reasoning is I can count her uses over the past year + on my fingers.

Upd: 730 pulls on D. Hina and only 2 copies, weird. I'm usually left with 1000+ extra eleph after ue50. Got s. Shiroko and Kayoko however, so the strat works.
Updupd: 800 pulls. I whaled.

@@blinddig7525 Just noticed this while testing insane hiero teams myself - NYFuuka + D. Hina = 5 cost. Himari + D. Hina = 9 cost. The latter is clunky as hell, despite the slight cost regen increase - this is because NY Fuuka doesn't just cut cost, but gives a dmg buff as well, and you really can't use an unbuffed dps in content like this. NY Fuuka rerun soon, definitely recommend to save 200 pulls.
Some tidbits/opinions on rankings
OShigure: I think she is the worst ranked student in your tier list by far. She is the best aoe team healer. Your team simply can't die with her especially with new gamemode. Should be A tier in terms of pull value. She is in the same position as S.Nodoka if not better. She is also core in Unrestricted Decisive Battle as well.
Bunny Asuna: She is a skip. Not limited at all. She is also quite bad in general so idk if its you thinking she is limited or bias since you did put all 4 bunny girls in the same tier
Bunny Akane: She is good but not good enough to warrant B tier. She isn't limited as well and you put her well above a lot of other students (Mine, XSerina, Kazusa, Natsu etc)
Sakurako: Borderline required in Unrestricted Decisive Battle (special armor) for high levels (level 100)
No indication of band units? All of them are must pulls due to Unrestricted Decisive Battle.
Tsubaki guide: Good but competes with Kotama normal. B tier otherwise.
Umika: Has some use cases inside JFD so probably B tier.
@@blackberrycooky7287 yeah, got turned around with which bunny maids are or aren't limited, funnily enough still pretty sure Akane is better than the rest (except possibly Karin). All your other points regarding upcoming content I didn't really delve into or misjudged (O. Shigure), because it's hard to judge due to limited info, and no way to speak from experience there. I haven't heard anyone talk about Shigure before I made this video lmao
@@kingarthur0407 You should check midokuni for some of the rankings or use rate for some of the raid bosses
For example some of uncommon but meta units (in platinum rank) are for example Mine (Mystic/Blue Binah), Kazusa(Yellow Gregorius), Reisa(regular Perorodzilla)
@@blackberrycooky7287 Yeah I go through the Google Docs quite often, just tend to stay away from Torment Raid stuff and we've powercrept enough to where Insane can be cleared with a single team without too much malding.

Also I just checked and people do use Mine for Blue Binah for Torment.
Honestly for Binah its a mix of 2 to 3 teams. Most people at the top 100 do tend to run tryhard teams (aka mald for crit)
But taking a look at people at the top 300 but below 100+, Mine is not really uncommon, and I would say she is one of the more reliable tankers in the game as she does shield debuffing and self healing.
Edit: Bunny Asuna and Akane should go into the skip tier (not limited). My fault for trying to keep all limited students in B tier at least, the Bunny ones are pretty bad (except mb Karin).
Unfortunately some rambling in the beginning due to wanting to explain my reasoning behind this mentality and why it works. Feel free to ask questions.
P.S.: Forgot an important piece of advice: Is it better to craft a unit or wait until you get them randomly from a banner? It costs like 120 Eleph to craft, and if you get a copy, you only get 30 Eleph. I have just recently seen the idea passed around that it might be better to craft and get a dupe, as dupes also give you 50 Eligma, which is very valuable.
That said I have myself crafted Shiroko and then gotten a dupe of her on the same day. That sucked ass. So I'd say either way is ok, don't sweat is too much.
I'd say if that student isn't needed then you should wait till you get her from the gacha and then get her to 4 star imediately after
@@mthanhgfdI have the very same thought, but that's also the reason I don't have Hoshino, Shiroko, Midori and maki yet, still waiting the get them in one of my pulls
@@BrickmanZero actually for Maki, she's really needed for some yellow raids (but the next few aren't). So it's on you whether you want to build her or wait (if you have a substitute)

@@BrickmanZerodon't forget you also lose out on relationship xp if you're at lvl 20 and below 5 star. I'd say try to focus on Maki, esp if you don't have Mika. Yuzu is crit mald as hell and replaceable, Midori is an unused but solid unit.
S Hina being in the same tier as T Yuuka and Wakamo is simply insane; other than Red Peroro I don't see her used anywhere else.

Unrelated but do you think Hoshino (Tactical) and Kuroko are worth it?

Currently coping since I came back to this game last week and didn't get Dress Hina or Summer Hoshino. Next Anniversary I guess.
@@meowspark9 740 pulls atm and only 2 Hinas, this banner feels rigged. That said you still have 3 days, so keep at it if you feel like it. Next anni you should have around 600 pulls for sure.
From this tier list, meta wise i only need ny fuuka, my pull went healthy, 40 pull (2 multi ticket from raids) and a single 3* which is d hina and it left me with 1 spark. Im pretty much satisfied for the long run, the best standart unit i could rn is Iroha, cherino, and s shiroko

who do i spark for hina or hoshino considering i have d ako(i feel like she has similar role to hoshino though obv weaker) and i only have default red dealers
@@feigned999 my first 200 pulls were on the rat banner. You're doing good, grats on the limited unit (use her for pvp if you're rank 200+).
If we're talking anniversary, Hoshino enables any red damage to win all red content (AoE or single target), and she's used as a tank/supp in other damage type content. D. Hina shreds red enemies like Mika on crack. I'd go with Hoshino. You'll probably get both, i think i got mika like 10 times in 200 pulls on her banner, i have like 1000 extra eleph for her alone.
@@kingarthur0407 if i pull both somehow, is d ako and hoshino usable together with some dealer like hina or you have to abandon one for optimal comp? from what i've heard hina and hoshino combo should be great together
@@feigned999 as I said in my long-ass original tierlist video, d. Ako shines when you have 8 units on field, not sure if she's good enough in normal content. Still gonna be decent tho I think. You can use better-in-slot students when running hoshino+hina though i believe. But it'll work, also the H+H combo will shred anything even if you leave the other slots empty lmao. H+H is top, but they also work well separately (2-team torment)
@@kingarthur0407 update question, just finished pulling fest and i got hoshino in 300 and sparked hina, i have 40 pulls till next spark, which is reasonable in a week, cause i have some content left, who should i give that spark to? they are both 5star weapon lvl 30 as of right now, i've seen takes that i should ue 40 hoshino and borrow more powerful hina for raids
@@feigned999 740 pulls here, only 2 Hinas. Hard to tell, but I've heard that D. Hina benefits from extra UE levels more (hearsay). You will however be using Hoshino in much more content, as she has diverse uses.

@@JorvsUchiha it certainly feels like it, but I think it's just superstition. Technically it can let you get avoid getting a duplicate of the same 3 star in one tenpull.
When is the anniversary? I'm trying to get S-Hoshino, and yes, if the "fest recruitment" is the anniversary banner, then I got Dress Hina. I'm broke right now

D. Aru is gonna be A tier most likely, but is not limited. Also if you have enough willpower to learn whatever the hell Greg raid is, this tier list ain't gonna help, since it's not even aimed at torment raids

@@Chibi_Nagisa check out my other video, focus on anything tier A or above bar the PvP units probably. Try to get someone who's not farmable as well (also you can get 2 purples in a single 10 pull on the beginner banner, my friend got Shun and Tsurugi yesterday).
That said getting someone like Iroha is still better than 2 farmable students.
I made a risky decision in skipping New Year Mutsuki. Is she that necessary or is she replaceable? I asked around on discord and people said there's plenty of others who can fill her roles and I'm also not the biggest PVP guy. I guess I'm fishing for answers to not regret my decision since her next rerun is probably going to be like at least 1.5 years if ever.
@@pkcrash-z5o she's not niche-tier, she's just really good at blue mobbing content (deals good damage in other mobbing content too) and is top tier in perorodzilla. I've stopped using her in pvp past rank 150 in favour of other units. Her next rerun will be after the next anniversary (6 months), so you might well get another unit in that time. She's just super comfy and strong, so an S tier limited and was worth the spark when she came out.
@@pkcrash-z5o Just remembered S. Hanako exists. She can replace NY Mutsuki, except mb not in PvP. She deals 100% damage to blue, and it's a ton of damage.

@@KashikoSatori Missing out on Mutsuki is quite a shame. Maybe Kayoko will spook you on the Anniversary banner. That said the rerun is at least after 6 more months, so look for a replacement (S. Hanako works). For NY Kayoko, just borrow her.

@@kingarthur0407 no I meant what region in Global. If you don't know global are divided into more region (Asia, Korean, Taiwan, EU, NA,...). Also the rank required to get Plat differs for each regions, Asia is 10k and above (idk about other regions)
You can check your region in the account tab in settings
