    I'm proud of my family's ancestry. I come from the Medici royal family bloodline. Because there were no male heirs left in the 1700's and all of them were female, in marriage the royal family Last name switched from Medici to DiLorenzo. DiLorenzo is my family name and I Santo DiLorenzo also known as sonny is blood related to the Medici royal family. The DiLorenzo family lives on Longisland in the state of New York.

      Looks like you may be my relative ! We recently found out my son is distant relation to Catherine de Medici and Francis de Valois the 2nd my son looks uncannily like him ! And we live on Long Island 🏝

    There was not a single note of the Ballet comique de la Royne and all the music was by Monteverdi, composed up to over 50 years after Catherine's death!

      I could also hardly find recordings of the Ballet comique de la Royne, but one could have played some airs de cour of the time, which are not too difficult to find

      No not at all.
      Catherine was brilliant, stable and political.
      Henri's mistress was a beauty who looked as if she never aged.
      None of these traits resembles either of Prince Charles wives

      Something has escaped your notice. Catherine was member of the richest family in Europe. Her father financed the stupid wars of many monarchs. She was the most wanted woman of her time. For her it was all "inherited".

      Actually, your pronunciation is correct. In Spain and in France that’s how they would have pronounce “Catherine”

      No, in Spain it would be pronounced CAT-AHH- REEN, in spanish (Mexico and Colombia would be CAT-AH-REENE)
      Im half spanish and half mexican and my moms name is Kathrine lol
