Station Alpha - 2. One of the earlier mining stations made during the expansions. Placed at the furthest point in the system, it mined and refined some of the largest and most profitable asteroids around. Its direct contributions lead to the prosperity of the local star systems. But for those who had to live there, it was an exile. It can take months to make the round trip, and even communication can take days to get through. The people have to be self reliant, able to grow their own food, recycle water, and handle emergencies as they come up. Their defensive ability is akin to a small military base. We have lost all contact with the location, and you are being sent to figure out why.
Commander's personal log. November 17th 2449. The captain has ordered our ship to rendezvous with the rest of the battlegroup en route to Station Alpha 2. Such a deployment makes me nervous. We've been trying to raise the station for the past hour and still no response. I have a briefing with the rest of the boarding party preparing to board the station. Going into a situation blind does not sit well me, but we don't have a choice. There are 273 people on that facility, we need to know what happened to them....
Intriguing and powerful ambient soundscape! The deep mechanical drones and ethereal synth layers perfectly capture the vastness of space and the industrious pulse of a mining facility. This immerses you in the heart of a cosmic operation, where every beat is the sound of progress among the stars. Great Job @StarbaseAmbient This fantastic piece will be the muse for my upcoming videos. Its captivating essence is the perfect spark for my creative vision. Thanks! 😎
Thank you so much! This is one my earliest and also darkest pieces. I'm so glad you enjoyed it and honoured that it has inspired your next piece of work. Looking forward to hearing it! 💜
ALPHA 2: One of many space stations studying and mining the asteroid fields in the ALPHA sector. ALPHA 2 was the second station constructed during humanity's expansions into the Kuiper Belt's darkest, most remote regions. Its mission is to support and sustain a crew of 2,000, and facilitate the extraction of ancient ices for both study and refinement into useable oxygen and fresh water for the masses back on Earth. The year is 2681, and humanity is running out of resources. Mars and Venus, now terraformed mega-city planets, are dying. Earth has nearly been stripped completely of useable resources. Water is scarce to the point that interplanetary war is waged over this precious commodity. ALPHA 2 is now one of the few remaining bastions of hope. It has gone dark, and higher ups don't know why. All attempts at communication have failed. Your mission, Task Force Theta-7, is to enter the facility, secure research, and seize any or all remaining resources. If possible, find the crew.
Thank you Bleak so glad you approve! This one was my most popular piece yet I haven't done a dark ambient track for some time. It is something I will revisit in the future 🎶🎶
Indeed. Those who venture into the most dangerous mining zones know the risk is great, but the reward can be greater! Thank you for contributing and taking the time to listen! 💜
This is the Guardian 1 ship automaton of the BlackHoundRise - Emergency Search and Rescue Vessel. All hailing frequencies to open communications with ALPHA 2: Space station mining facility went unanswered. Their distress beacon is still active and pinging same Code 1 emergency. The crew of BHR will soon be coming out of a long stasis following 10 consecutive rescue missions in the BG-Vogus colony sector. I'm concerned the last mission will continue affect the team's morale. We already lost one engineer 3rd class and Chief medical officer during mission 10. However, we have been re-directed to assist in the rescue of a military team previously sent to investigate the blackout at Station Alpha 2. The military ship is also not responding to our hails. All security and combat drones are charging as an extra precaution. We will be within the ALPHA 2 Station's radar in 64 hours, 30 minutes. Soon, all will be revealed...
Thank you. Yeah, Midjourney can provide some nice visuals to accompany your music, it's a great tool. Makes getting your music out there an easier task.
Thank you, glad it fits! I'm experimenting with different visual and sound combinations, along with some kind of setting or theme. Seeing how I can evolve this over time. Will see how it goes. 🤔😄
@@StarbaseAmbient By the way, are you familiar with labels like Cryo Chamber, Cyclic Law, Loki Foundation or even Ant-Zen? Your work is close to their artists and releases. Have you tried to contact these labels? Because this track is (once again) very good!
Apologies I missed this comment. I'm aware of these channels, but haven't considered contacting them yet, although it may be something I'll do in the future. Thank you for the suggestion!
I really enjoy the deep, grounded undertones holding this piece up...they speak from the mysteries of the ages. This piece, along with the many fine narrative contributions from your viewers, got me to subscribe. I'm always looking for new ambient to help me focus while at work...so glad i came across your channel.
Thank you so much! This is means a great deal to me and really pushes me to continue to create and improve. Also very lucky to have some fantastic contributions to the setting from fellow listeners. I created these pieces to listen to while working my day job, so it's great to know you will also find them useful in the same way.
Who can help to find a video approximately of the style of this one? There was some massive space station on the left , the station was of a circular form, and a small spacecraft approaching the station from right. Loved this picture so much but forget to add the video to my playlist. As to this one- i really like this drone. Good job! Keep making this quality music!
I'm not sure if it's the same video you are looking for but if you find ALPHA 1 on this channel which is the earlier video in the series which has a circular station in a similar visual style as you described. If that's not the one then hopefully you'll find the one you're looking for soon. Thank you for listening!
@@StarbaseAmbientthanks a lot! I saw the video you are talking about. It's not the one i am looking for, but i liked it's music, btw. Keep making videos and good luck!
