- Welcome back, Bustlers and Bustlings!! We're here with Hardhome! Sorry this one took longer than anticipated, UA-cam copyright just didn't wanna let this one go. Finally managed to get an edit up though. This was easily the best episode yet. Aside from setting the tone and letting us know the White Walkers are not to be trifled with.. this episode did a great job at setting up some of our other characters with their own plot points. Cersei is still being kept by the Sparrows, and apparently Tommen is losing his grasp on Westeros and his sanity. Reek finally decided not to suck and told Sansa the truth about Bran and Rickon. Tyrion us chilling with Khaleesi and tensions are at an all time high all over the place. The peices are set, all the players are ready, and any minute now the games gonna explode. Can't wait to finish of the season and get into season 6! Thanks again guys we love you all we will see you on the next one :)

13:45 this is the moment that turns sansa, that gives her something to fight for. she hears her brothers are alive and it's what drags her out of the depths and gives her the power to fight the world ahead. i love this moment, for the incredible acting and character work.
Hardhome is undoubtedly one of the best episodes of the show.

1. According to the books, cutting your arm off does not always stop the greyscale - it can appear on your other limb.
2. Starks would not support Dany because her father burned Ned's father and brother.
3. Those were not her kids, her 2 girls got out.
4. Not all the wildlings were killed - some got away on the boats, probably a few hundred.

We've finally arrived at the episode where we can truly see the danger of the white walkers. Jon was smart for getting the wildlings on their side, they cant afford to have them all be added to the army of the dead. All the wildlings that got on the boats from the beginning to the very last boat with Jon, got saved, which was probably way less than half.
Cercei is such a powerful character, we love to hate her, theres something satisfying in watching her drink from the floor, for me. Oh how the mighty have fallen. Its harsh, but she can finally see what real struggle is like. Just like Jaime did...

@Gandhi Always Leaves an Onion they go after Roose Bolton shows Ramsey the North and tells him he changed his name. The entire army was out there with them and remember after Ramsey says, come on Theon, I'll be needing a bath today. Then you see the entire calgary slowly in a procession headed towards Winterfell in the distance. However, what they don't seem to show is the fact that they rebuilt and repaired Winterfell.

The wights comprise the majority of the white walker army and are quite lethal on their own; they’re also subject to the control of their head walkers that turned the individuals. The walkers (the “lieutenants”) are the turned sons of Craster. And all are under the control of the one Night King with the crown head.
Also they didn’t get the kids from the boat. She had girls and those boats left before the walkers got there and had already reached the ships. There were kids too outside the doors that were closed amongst the village. They’d already gotten turned to wights. 😊
Ya’ll forgot so quickly how The Walkers were fire resistant. The one that fought John walked right through the fire. The only thing that killed him was John’s Valerian steel sword.

Don't forget that Game of Thrones "morals" are way different than us, While Jaime killed the Mad King, he was still sworn to protect him and he ended up killing him. Being an 'oathbreaker' in Westeros is probably the worst thing you can be next to being a 'Kinslayer' which is killing your family.
He also stabbed him in the back & as Ned said "served when it was safe" & beneficial for the Lannisters. He also found Jaime sitting on the throne afterwards, which during a take over comes off as a power move not I just did this for the people.

This was one of my favourite episodes because the end was so unexpected - did not expect a white Walker invasion of that intensity.. and it’s not even episode 9
Random fact, the guy who was the leader of the Thens is a Bulgarian actor. I mean not a big deal, but considering how small country we are, it's kinda cool to see someone from here in such a big show as GoT. And I mean while he was only in one episode he did even have like a redemption arc, so kinda cool.

Daenerys' break the wheel monologue is a very interesting one.
when the Targaryens were the kings (during king aerys' reign), it was the starks that were being crushed. after the mad king fell and the Baratheons took over, it was the targaryens (two innocent children, viserys and dany) who were being crushed. when the Lannisters took over, the Baratheons got over throned and the stark family was almost gone. now it's the Tyrells that are pissing over the Lannisters.
dany wants to stop the wheel of monarchy.
since she cannot have children anymore, she wont be able to pass her line forward. she most likely will have to implant a democracy to chose an heir everytime a ruler dies

She was merciful enough not to execute him when his betrayal came out via Ser Barristan, she would've looked much more favourably upon him had he trusted her with the truth as early as possible. He mostly spied on her viscous, petulant brother and as soon as Dany started acting like a queen, he became devoted to her.

They are one video ahead. But I will say they only release one video a week. Other reactors are doing 2 or 4 a week. But I think these guys have such great in depth reactions it’s worth it.
Plus you get to watch the whole episode uncut. You really get to know more about these guys. They sing, play guitar and you get to see their dog Brooklyn. Most reactions are an hour and a half long. Very much worth having Patreon.
i get saying the white walkers are the biggest threat, but politics are also one of the biggest threats to westeros.
who sits on the iron throne and rule the seven kingdoms is also important.
who'd be the best option to lead the seven kingdoms when the white walkers come? Tommem? Stannis? Daenerys? Littlefinger? Margaery? it needs to be someone who's willing to put aside their beef with the other houses.

I’ll never forget my reaction to the knight king raising the dead. I could not comprehend that and it scared the stuff out of me. The show took on a different meaning to me after that just like it did to you two. Nothing else mattered and nothing can prepare you for what’s next.
How did you get the name the Night (not Knight) King? Please don't jump ahead of revealing something that none of knew at this point of the show. You mentioned "I'll never forget," which means you've watched the show beyond this point. The Boyz haven't, please don't ruin things for them by giving up more info then needed. We are all wizards in the comment section, after we've seen the show. Be careful.

@@joshuasutton355 The words "NIGHT KING" were never mentioned at any point, INCLUDING THIS EPISODE. Try watching the original reactors of GOT as the episodes first aired. Dozens of them. NOT ONE, used the words NIGHT KING till way later in the show. The name NIGHT KING came way after this episode in the show. The words NIGHT KING were not even in the books. So, quit using names of things before it's even introduced. The words NIGHT KING had a ZERO reason to be called that in the show. It had a less probability to be called that over the WINTER KING, KING WHITE, WHITEWALKER KING, GENERAL WHITE etc etc. Stop making excuses after you let the cat out of the bag. You hit the Lottery by guessing his name correctly w/o learning it from ALREADY watching the whole show.

This episode is my 4th best rated episode & the 4th best rated on IMDB among GOT episodes, voted on by many thousands of people. My best GOT episode up to this point.
FYI, thousands of Wildlings did manage to leave Hardhome on the ships.
One thing that I want to shed light on. To some (Mostly book readers), who thought the writing went bad in the ladder seasons (Not in my book) after the books end at the end of season 5. There were however some errors in the writing in the early seasons too, just no one (Mostly Book readers) wanted to find them. This episode sheds light on a HUGE error in the writing in season 2 episode 10 & season 3 episode 1. At the end of season 2, we see the Whitewalker on the horse & Sam cowering behind a rock. At the start of season 3, the Whites & supposedly the Whitewalker were vanquished by the Night's Watch. As you see in this episode, Whitewalkers (Not Whites) cannot be killed by fire, as the Whitewalker walked right through the fire to go at Jon & the Then. You also learned that every weapon except Valaryan Steel or Dragonglass disintegrate on impact against the Whitewalker's Ice weapon. You also learned that Sam was the first to kill a Whitewalker in many many years, we learned this later on the in the show, way after season 3 episode 1 & confirmed again in season 4 episode 9, by Sam bragging about it. So the question is, how did they defeat the Whitewalker on the horse at the end of season 2 episode 10? The Night's Watch did not have Valaeryan Steel & Sam was the first to use Dragonglass many episodes later, on a Whitewalker. Did the Whitewalker get up & leave, when he could of killed every last one of the Night's Watch without any opposition? Fire or any other weapon would be ineffective. Why would he bring an army of Whites & just hightail it out of there after Season 3 episode 1? It's obvious now, that he couldn't of been killed by the Night's Watch at that point of the show. Huge error in the writing. Either the Night's Watch used the Dragonglass that Sam found, which makes Sam not the first to kill a Whitewalker, or the Whitewalker hightailed it out of there, for no reason at all, after making a grand appearance at the end of season 2.
Don't get me wrong, best show ever, but there were quite a few errors in the writing in the early seasons, where to some people who thought all the episodes were flawless with George's direction.
Its wasn't the same white walker there are at least 14 of them that we know of that is shown in the show when we first saw the Night King with the baby we see a line of white walkers in the distance

He doesn't need to be the same Whitewalker. Where did you get the name the Night King? Jumping ahead of yourself & giving reveals ahead of time? I thought he was called the Whites leader at this point. All commentators are wizards on knowing the future after seeing the whole show. The question is, can you provide anything of substance that doesn't jump ahead of where the Boyz are right now?!
Cutting the arm would work, theoretically. However, if the disease had already spread elsewhere in your body, you would lose an arm for nothing. And all this apply only if we expect the same rules apply in the show and in the books. Anyway, that was an extremely well made observation. Greetings from Finland!

Totally agree, Aaron! Sansa’s acting (Sophie Turner’s) was so so good in that scene. I adore the scenes between her and Theon because the acting is top notch between the two of them.
Also, Sansa has hope back in her life. She now has the knowledge that her baby brothers are alive. That’s huge for her.
