If only there was something like interference matrix in starcraft 1, then it would be balanced. Oh wait, ghost lockdown and it works much better than interference
It requires several barracks, academy, ghost academy and research - very big investments, plus ghosts are gas heavy units which get killed by protoss easily.
@@ObeliskM It requires an SC1 building and an SC2 building? anyway, way easier than getting out a speed shuttle with a reaver that it hard-counters. And no you don't have to build barracks, you already have those. That's like saying you have to build workers and a refinery. There is no validity to the claim that ghosts get killed by protoss very easily.

No. In SC1 Ghosts do need two tech buildings plus an add-on in order to be build. And you cannot even build one of the buildings before you have build a Starport!
Compare that to Shuttle + Reaver which is very straightforward to build and doesn't waste as much time. You just build the Robo, start building the Shuttle while building the Robo Support Bay, and after it has build you build the Reaver.
