My husband and I watch you on 'the big screen' in the living room whilst having our dinner, reminiscing about our travels thanks to the sensory responses we each have to intensely atmospheric videos. We marvel at the great stuff you guys have discovered, thus encouraging us to check out too on OUR next sojourn abroad. Fantastic. And I gotta say, the amount of people who completely rip you guys off on YT is UNREAL. Every tiny little detail that's YOUR recognisable 'brand', your fully realised aesthetic style; the editing, storyboarding, music, text (even the colour you guys use) and much more is completely imitated in hundreds of painfully, embarrassingly derivative 'creative content' out there. It's pathetic to see. Still, imitation is the greatest form of flattery isn't it?
I decided to celebrate my birthday here because of your video! Got gifted ONE whole Pierre Herme cheesecake when I mentioned Sam and Victor lol. Not kidding about the cheesecake but kidding about mentioning your channel … 😂
Every time I see a new vlog come up from you guys, every time I’m a week closer to Tokyo. Thanks for bringing Tokyo to us all who are Japan-deprived 😂🥲❤
These videos are intensely atmospheric and thus, so evocative. I get totally immersed in them too, it feels like I'm back there. If only we had smell-o-vision we'd be even more transported... Hope you have an incredible time on your upcoming holiday Stacey.
No one does Japan like you guys. I really hope you stay there for 1 year and cover the entire country. My mother and i have been enjoying the Japan videos so much.
can i just say that your cinematography never fails to amaze me. your videos are like a mini movie and slice of life in places i hope to travel to someday. thanks so much for sharing! also the s'more made my mouth water
My husband and I have been truly enjoying your videos , You made us to go to Japan last year and again This coming October , Can't wait to go to all the places that you guys have gone . Thank you again so much for making the best UA-cam Videos , We are so addicted , I do watch them over and over , And I never get tired of them
Good evening! The video was really great. Kuramae is the area where I commuted to work for 16 years; the factory I worked at was right in front of the ramen shop. After retiring, I worked as a caregiver, attended a building cleaning school, and cleaned care facilities and buildings. I'm currently unemployed, but I plan to start working again after this hot summer passes. I believe the idea for "Perfect Days" was inspired by me. It’s a shame that you're moving to Nagoya.😊
Every Monday I look for Sam and Victor. I am in another time zone this morning and no Sam and Victor when I first woke up but so happy a little later I was able to enjoy the new video. Thank you for another good and relaxing video.
BABE WAKE UP SAM AND VICTOR JUST POSTED!!!! I HAVE NEVER BEEN THIS EARLYYYYY 🥹✨ in Tokyo right now too - my family and I are based in Yamagata! We always love watching your videos 🥰
Absolutely love this video. I was searching for Tokyo Vlogs because looking at the streets of Tokyo at night or in the rain is very soothing to me so I really appreciate you guys taking the time to capture all the beautiful scenery!
Such a wonderful life in Japan. I really like your vlog. It's exactly what I want. I like the cafe, the dessert, Japan, and the color tone of the video.
Another great video. We will be staying in the same area when we visit in January. Thanks for all the cafe and restaurant suggestions. We can’t wait 😊❤
I grew up and live in Tokyo but honestly your videos are so inspiring! There are so many spots that I didn't know so I and my husband went on a little tour in Asakusa and Kuramae following your recommendations. The cafes and the bookstore that appeared in the movie The Perfect Days were amazing!!! We literally found different and fun ways to enjoy the city thanks to you. And the cinematography and the music you use are so beautiful and relaxing to watch. Please keep creating 🙏💓
Haven’t even finished the entire video yet Just wanted to thank you two for sharing your travels It helps me forget about my problems and it’s very relaxing 😌
Thanks so much for the Tokyo and Japan videos, it was as if we were living vicariously through the videos :) Really enjoyed them and hope to see more of these videos!! ❤
I'm Japanese and I always like to watch Japan and Hong Kong through your eyes♡ Actually you guys know and have experienced Tokyo much more than me! One of my favorite areas in Tokyo is Marunouchi. It's good for stroll, cos sidewalks are spacious and not so crowded compare to other famous areas. There are many sophisticated shops, cafes and restaurants. (I'm sorry if you are already experienced! ) You are able to having meal with nice Tokyo station view on the terrace of the restaurants in 7th floor of "Shin Marunouchi building".
i want to thank you for putting all the shops' names! i really love how you explore the city and find chill places. listing all the places u visit and will go next week
Was in Tokyo this past sakura season and so much to do that I didnt make it out to kitchen street as I had wanted. But in exchange I was able to get a sakura tattoo - something that is such an experience to do in Japan! 🌸

I’ve been to the first cafe. Stumbled across it after checking out the snake path. My niku jaga was a little dry, but it was a vibey place. Good pudding at the next cafe along, too - the showa style kissaten next door.

Thanks for sharing! 1:02 I’m seeing that you were using the scooter next to sumida river… can I ride there as long as i see people on bicycles? Is there any route/path that you can’t go on that area of the river? I’m asking because i’m planning go to japan for the first time and i want to use luup to explore asakusa and see the sumida river.
