    I love this video! Great presentation and very informative. But I might suggest putting an ingredient list in the description, it would be very helpful I think.

    OMG this is the best mango pickle recepie EVAR!!! I cant believe its got no oil in it that be way crazy!!! Master Chef Sanjeev Kapoor FTW!!!!! The first time i made this pickle it made into an animal, RAWR!!! all the ladies loved it!!!!!!! I wish i married master chef Sanjeev KApoor : (

    Your recipes are fabulous and I like them, in 1993 we met u at centaur hotel we were taking breakfast and u were master chef there and I was carrying my 10 months old son u took him and asked us about the food served and u carried my son to your kitchen looking at your courtesy taken aback i was not able to talk to you, U are so humble now I need recipe for Gooseberry murabba, (sweet pickle) , if u can post it in u tube it will be great help thx a lot.

    A good recipe indeed. This tastes good also with Otaheita Apple ( Amra in Bengali) and starfruit (kamranga in Bengali). Butttttt nothing like raw mango. Just two more variations I wanted to share.
    By the way, I am surrounded by people who do not think India is a country of snake charmers only. I get respect as I represent India, which contributes to research and technology. I get respect as I represent a country which developed some technologies which made it Elite.

    My Aunty used to make it with the leftover mangoes after making mango pickle. We used to call it 'Heeng ka aachaar'. Tastes yum but can have v little as asafetida is v strong.

    thank you for your recipes. Only that other recepies are so different, for example, they tell you to put the mango in salt and drain out the water, and then put it in the sun for days, and afterwards then mix it with spices.
    My question is, can I do this recipe of yours but put more spices like grinded cummin and other spices? Can I do this recipe adding olive oil? If I put more spices will it go bad and not last one year?

    I only wish I could buy unripened mangoes where I live so I could try it.
    I was curious though that you did not add any liquid. Does the natural moisture in the mango bleed out to create some?

    Can you please upload your spicy nimbu achar recipe, which was available earlier, some of the ingredients are lemon juice, ginger green chilies etc. please upload it again as I miss that recipe and I want to make that achar, please it’s a humble request....desperately waiting for the recipe and upload of the video...

      It needs more salt which acts as a preservative.For 1 kg mango use about 150 to 200 grams salt .It stays good for years.
