Just found this and feel in love with idea, I will be using this on canvas using paper napkins as background then adding old family photo's to them for my family reunion. Thanks for sharing !! 😊
HI there thank you for sharing this cool technique...I have lots of canvas panels...NOW I am wondering and maybe you would know if this technique would work with magazine pages instead of the napkins???? I think I will give that a try next week!
Debbie Lewis Hi Debbie ☺ Thank you so much for you watching. Yes...I like your idea of using larger napkins. I'll check around in Tuesday Morning the next time I'm there. They usually have gorgeous napkins in all sizes 😊
Hi Teresa : ) I'm sorry I didn't show that part in the video. I have a long running list of videos to film in this type of situation, where my crafty friends here on YT ask me to show/make or how to do something. It's a long list so please be patient with me lol : ) thank so much for watching and for taking the time to leave me a comment.
Gwen M. Casteel Hi Gwen. That's a great question. I have tried it but I will sometime this week and post the video. I'll make sure I mention you as the inspiration for this tutorial ☺
Hello! I just found your channel! I have done the napkin transfers onto blocks of wood. Did you peel the backing off the napkin first before the ironing? I noticed that the napkins with backing on ended up being bubbly. Just wondering how yours turned out. Do you ever spray yours with clear spray? Thanks so much for sharing!!! 😍😍😍
I found out that if you keep the backings that you take off of the napkins you can make napkins that you really like instead of having to try and find them again and this will save you money I found a tutorial on here in regards to making paper napkins from the napkins you have
Yes I have. I used some jute on this particular project since it went with the whole look I was going for. It's a great way to use up your ribbon scraps too. Thanks for the suggestion : )
Hi Liz : ) I made a few cards using the paper napkin transfers I made in this video. I will make a note to film a video doing this. Thanks so much for watching : )
Hi there : ) I haven't tried that but I will absolutely put it on my list of crafts to create/test out. It will be a little bit since we just moved back to Oregon from Florida and all of my craft supplies are still packed. I'm happy that you asked that question as it's a good one and I hadn't thought of doing that. I have a book where I write down subscriber suggestions/how to's etc so I will add this to the list and note your name so I can give you credit/shout out when I get around to trying this out. Thanks for watching and for taking the time to leave me a comment : )
Hi - insted of pul of the plastik wrap of the canvas, you could put the napkin right on. It’s the same That Will happens, and then you would save the World from some plastic. 😉
ScrappinAbby, Can I point out something that really gets to me is who female crafter keep saying ladies. Don't males craft. It would be so nice if you female would say, fellow crafters. Other than that little bug I have it's a great video.
Male decopaguer here 🤘 No need to be social-justice-warrior PC all-inclusive: this is a majority women's craft, and seriously doesn't hurt my feelings when crafters address their audience as such. Keep up the great videos and fantastic techniques!

Love ur idea. I’m gonna try it out on my birthday card for my sister. I can get the canvas at Walmart. Can hardly wait to get started.
I used colored ribbon on the sides as well as diamond wrap on the sides to bling it out and used them for coasters, or decor for my dinner table.
Love them!! Thanks for sharing! 😁

Have you ever cover the hard one and made coasters with it? Love the video! Thanks
Nicely done! Does the plastic wrap take the place of ModPodge?
*_Awesome video! I like it_*
This is cool. I just ways used Modge Podge before
Great ideas! Tfs...wish you had shown when you did the corners.

Do you think this would work with light fabric????....👍😘
Gwen M. Casteel Hi Gwen. That's a great question. I have tried it but I will sometime this week and post the video. I'll make sure I mention you as the inspiration for this tutorial ☺
thank you. this s so cool.
I like what you did but can you place embellishments on it after you place the napkin or just leave as is?

Can the ones on the flat small canvas be wiped of if one was to use them for coasters? Thank you, awesome tutorials
you could put a sealer, even decoupage glue to make a coaster.
Very cool! tfs!
Hi there : ) I love your YT name and you have a wonderful smile : ) Thanks so much for watching and for taking the time to leave me a comment : )
Beautiful
a GREAT job, thanks.
Aasiya Id-Deen thank you ☺
Great idea tfs. from la, ca 😃
Hi Astrid : ) Thanks for watching and for leaving me such a kind comment : )
On the small stretcged canvas one, you could just paint the sides with a coordinating color or even black.
If you have a couple of bricks you can use them to brace the canvas.
Brilliant idea. I will try that next time...thank you so much for the tip : )
Prosím, na co mám nastavit žehličku, na bavlnu? Je to moc krásné, také to chci zkusit. Děkuji moc
Could you use the plastic film the canvas already has as packaging???
Such a creative idea - and you are a _wonderful_ teacher. Thank you for sharing.
p.s. I just subbed. :)
Great idea ! tfs ! New subbie.
Hi Patricia : ) Thanks so much for your comment and I'm so glad to hear that you are subscribed to my channel. Thank you so much : )

Hi. So cute TFS.
Have you ever experienced that over time the cling wrap un-clings to the canvas (or card stock)?
I have some microwave safe plastic wrap. Will it work??
Try the plastic that comes on the flat canvas...waste not, want not...lol. And I would just use a good adhesive on the sides.
Have you ever thought of wrapping canvas sides with a ribbon?
Yes I have. I used some jute on this particular project since it went with the whole look I was going for. It's a great way to use up your ribbon scraps too. Thanks for the suggestion : )
Great idea!!
What is the iron that you are using? Thanks in advance!
I've done this with glue on cards and glitter wonder if I could use this technique on cards
Hi Liz : ) I made a few cards using the paper napkin transfers I made in this video. I will make a note to film a video doing this. Thanks so much for watching : )
Liz Serich yes, I’ve seen this technique for cardstock. The ironing time is quite a bit less, but as with everything , times are not set in stone.
Can you use a photograph and transfer it to Card stock
Inspiration thanks
Could you put a sealer and use flat canvas as coasters?

Can you do this on wooden coasters
Hi Carol : ) I bought some wood coasters from Hobby Lobby recently and I will give this a try when I can and of course share it with all of you : )
Would this work on canvas fabric that is bought from fabric shop- just plain white canvas fabric??
Again thinking of my book binding!!
Again thinking of my book binding!!
If I wanted to use this as a coaster could I use Mod Podge to seal it?
Hi Dixie Yes you could. I've done it in the past for coasters and for the glass trivets you can buy at Dollar Tree : )
Love
Where in Florida are you?
Hi - insted of pul of the plastik wrap of the canvas, you could put the napkin right on. It’s the same That Will happens, and then you would save the World from some plastic. 😉
what is the temp. of iron for this??? Thanks ABBY
On the prior video (napkin to cardstock), she said the highest setting. So Linen, I suppose.
You didn’t link the other video
Hi it's called canvas board ;)
you said janky...lol!!
I thought this was going to be canvas yardage for sewing.
If the tiles are warped in plastic could you have left the plastic on and continue using the napkin.?
Hmmm...good question. I will try that next time as well...along with your brick suggestion in your previous comment. Thank you so much : )

Too much chatter at beginning. Anxious to see this but kept having to fast forward.
I fast-forward through everything- even movies sometimes.
It’s so convenient!
You could have used the plastic that was already on the canvas. lol it was just a thought. Lol
Very good. Please try to talk less , or at least slower. Very irritating.
Great idea! Thank you👍🏻
