I love these! Do you think it would be worth it to make these in a mass production? Looking at 150-175 people at our wedding. Wasn’t sure if it would be worth the price
These are beautiful! I am using this as a starter for my wedding invites! I was wondering how you did the date area! I am a Cricut newbie and have no idea where to start with that!
This is the exact video I needed, thank you so much! 💓 My sister needs more invitations for her wedding so I am making them as soon as my materials arrive ❤
This was amazing thank you! I'm just wondering is there a way to do this so that the letters are filled in rather than just the outline of the font/text?
Hi! These invitations are so stunning and exactly what I want for my 2023 wedding invites. Wondering if it would be possible to get information on the other fonts used on the invite as well as how to do the date. So amazing! Thank you!
The invitations came out gorgeous! 😍 Haven't tried the foil yet, but now that I saw your video I know how to, thanks. Oh, can't wait to see what's up your sleeve for April too!! 😁
There are certain fonts that will not do an outline. If not, you’re going to have to duplicate the font multiple times and then I you either weld or attach them. I can’t remember. Don’t put the font exactly over each other.
I am new to cricut and my daughter’s wedding is in December and I would like to make the wedding invitations. I have no idea how to start. I will continue looking at your videos. Thanks
Hello Amy! Thank you for this video I am so confused, I am new foil trying to figure it out. I saw foil transfer machines, and cricut foil transfer What is the difference between them ? I saw that some print n then foil over the prints? 😅
I love this video and your invitation came out great, I've tried many times to make simple foil bookmarks on kraft card stock and the foil just doesn't adhere, it's so patchy and barely shows up. Your video has given me hope to keep trying but I don't want to continually waste materials particularly when I want to make them to sell.
Hi! I've followed your directions precisely but seem to have a problem with the foil kit - as soon as I try to foil anything, the housing isn't moving up and down, just stays up, its moving where it needs to be foiling, just isn't foiling because its away from the mat. It as been working normally for all the cutting I did up until now. Tried different things to make it foil and see if I'm making any mistakes but nothing is working. Any experience with that? Thanks, Sara
Hi there! I did this and the foil didn’t really transfer, it was really really speckly so much so but you couldn’t read it at all! Do you know why this might have happened?
Hi Amy, can I make this with a Cricut Joy machine? I want to make wedding cards with the joy machine with all different models. Can you please answer because I’m gonna buy it this weekend…
Hi Serena, yes! Say if you wanted the names in gold foil and the rest written out with a pen, you can just change the options to "draw" instead of foil! Hope this helps :)
I would think you can use the Cricut brand foil for other machines? I'm looking for 12 x 12 foil sheets to use with my Cameo 4 and I'm having a hard time. I'm considering using this. Thoughts Amy?
Hi Madison! This will depend on the size of your invites, design, etc. You cannot reuse a piece of foil after you’ve used it, so try and save as many scraps as you can! My suggestion for you is to buy a couple of packs and then see how many you can make with them! Testing it out is always the best thing you can do - I hope this helps! 🤍
I had so much hope as this video and the invitations are amazing. The foil tool is terrible 😞 I did over 20 tests on different paper lbs and wasted so much material and it’s just not consistent if you want to make more than 1 invitation
This is so late but I can answer. Circuit will read your fonts as the outline unless you use one for writing in design space or a “single line font”. Sometimes it won’t be as noticeable if you’re using a marker or something with a regular outline font.
Hi DIY brides & grooms! Watch my FULL wedding decor video here on everything I DIYed for our wedding 💍 ua-cam.com/video/O2Adl8onrzQ/v-deo.html

Avez vous eu une réponse svp , je suis dans la même situation 👏
Very simple instructions. Best so far.
I have been wanting the foil kit for so long! I'm for sure picking it up this weekend.
Can you suggest another font close to avenir next? For some reason my cricut design space doesn't have this font and I love it!

Omg wish this was a top 3 video search result! It’s the best! THANK YOU ❤
Question sweetie..
Do you know how many sheets of gold foil I will need to purchase to make 50 cards?
The invitations came out gorgeous! 😍 Haven't tried the foil yet, but now that I saw your video I know how to, thanks. Oh, can't wait to see what's up your sleeve for April too!! 😁
some new & exciting April tutorials! Can't wait to roll out more wedding content :)
Is it possible first print the invitation and just add names on invitation with this methode??
LOVE these! Beautiful job! Do you know how do you get the foil to fill the text, not just outline?
There are certain fonts that will not do an outline. If not, you’re going to have to duplicate the font multiple times and then I you either weld or attach them. I can’t remember. Don’t put the font exactly over each other.
What if you do the offset instead? If it’s a thin offset would that work?
Where did you get the card stock paper? Does it come in multiple colors?
Hi Amy, can you do a tutorial on how you did this on design space?
Thank you
Beautiful invite and great tutorial! Thank you!
thank you so much! glad you enjoyed ❤

This is great! How do you get the letters to fill in? No matter what script I use, it is only outlining it.
I was wondering too. Hope she can answer this.
did you ever figure this out
Beautiful invitation!! 😍
thank you!!!
Magic!❤
Thank you!!!
thanks for watching!! :)
Would this work on acrylic invitations? I have this kit and just need to see what thickness acrylic sheets I need to get.
Hello Amy!
Thank you for this video
I am so confused,
I am new foil trying to figure it out.
I saw foil transfer machines, and cricut foil transfer
What is the difference between them ?
I saw that some print n then foil over the prints? 😅
Please, what size font did you use?
Is there a way to fill in the foil?

Hello, do you happen to know why my cricut maker does not have foil option under operation?
Hi! I've followed your directions precisely but seem to have a problem with the foil kit - as soon as I try to foil anything, the housing isn't moving up and down, just stays up, its moving where it needs to be foiling, just isn't foiling because its away from the mat. Hi Amy, can I make this with a Cricut Joy machine? I want to make wedding cards with the joy machine with all different models. Can you please answer because I’m gonna buy it this weekend…
hi! the Cricut Joy does have the foil transfer kit :) make sure you get the one for the Cricut Joy!
Beautiful!
Thank you very much for the video! Just one question: is it possible to make only part of the invitation with the golden detail or is it not possible?
Hi Serena, yes! Say if you wanted the names in gold foil and the rest written out with a pen, you can just change the options to "draw" instead of foil! Hope this helps :)
Can we make our colour and gold foil stickers with cricuit maker?
How long did it take for one foil invitation?
What video can I see on how you created the arch on canva?
I'm having an issue. When I go center it all it will put it all in a cluster what am I doing wrong
Can this work with acrylic instead of cardboard?
I personally haven’t tried it so im not sure
How much would you say each invite costs?
Hello I tried doing the same but it’s coming out faded
Love this! Thank u
Why did you use the weld feature?
This is an amazing tutorial. Do you have one on weeding small/thin fonts?
Thank you! And I do not but can definitely make a video on that!!
@@AmyMakesThat that would be amazing. It is one of the things I have trouble with
Hi Amy! Can you cut the arch shape on Cricut Joy aswell?
as long as the width of the arch is under 4.5", then yes!
Hey Amy! I love your videos (they’re seriously so helpful!)! Is there a non-Cricut brand of foil you recommend using?
Hey Kaitlyn! Thanks so much :) I'm glad they're helping you!! I have yet to try a non-Cricut brand of foil, but I definitely would like to!
I would think you can use the Cricut brand foil for other machines? I'm looking for 12 x 12 foil sheets to use with my Cameo 4 and I'm having a hard time. I'm considering using this. Thoughts Amy?
Can anyone explain why the foil doesn’t always transfer? I have a cotton paper and it doesn’t seem to want to transfer
How much foil do you use for say 150 invites? do you have to get a new piece of foil everytime?
finally some one says creative fabrica right
The stylus tool isnt doing the same with the foils?
nope! The stylus tool scores, the foil housing + tips actually foil it onto the cardstock!
Is it possible to buy this design somewhere? 😍
hi! Cricut Design Space automatically comes with any Cricut purchase, so no need to buy it!
was this a tester or are you doing this for a wedding? And if so, how many invites? Do you think you saved money?
Hey Katie I made this for video purposes only! Personally if you have the time, I think a foil invitation is the way to go!
I was excited to use the foil transfer kit, but I’ve tried it three or four times and very disappointed with the results.
I’m dying to know how you made the date look like that!
I think Avenir Next might be a MAC font - it’s not on my windows PC :)
That would explain it! There may be a similar font on your Windows PC, scroll through!!
I had so much hope as this video and the invitations are amazing. The foil tool is terrible 😞 I did over 20 tests on different paper lbs and wasted so much material and it’s just not consistent if you want to make more than 1 invitation
Oh no!! I’m so sorry to hear that, I made about 6 before filming and then made these and had no issues 🥲 I wonder what went wrong!
Would i be able to do this with my Cricut explorer air2?
yes you certainly can! :)
Love this, could you do an invitation with writing instead of foil?
of course! I'll add it to my content video list & make a video on it :)
The foil is transferring as an outline of my text. How to I get it to fill in the letters?
did you get this figured out
This is so late but I can answer. Circuit will read your fonts as the outline unless you use one for writing in design space or a “single line font”. Sometimes it won’t be as noticeable if you’re using a marker or something with a regular outline font.
I have the kit but I haven’t used it yet.
Same! I’m wanting to do this on acrylic
I dont see the Avenir Next
I believe this may be a font only for Mac users :(
I know this is old, but I have to ask: Is there a reason the "Wedding Invitations" are shaped like TOMBSTONES? LOLOLOL
It’s most likely to match the decor such as Table Numbers.
Arches are a popular shape besides rectangles!
very helpful video, stopped watching at the foiling, to many adds, no thanks
sorry for the ads! I don't have control over that :(
