My technical guess is: the way Vedal makes neuro remember things is by finetuning the base model. The thing is, the more you finetune, the worse a model gets (as a rule of thumb) in general terms.
Evil neuro has less finetuning, and feels therefore smarter. If you compare current neuro to janurary/february neuro, she is also a bit dumber imo

I think he just uses a vector database to store her memories, this would make more sense as finetuning a model each time it does something is very, very, very expensive, but storing and removing info from a vector db is actually kinda cheap
