Great enclosure. Our family had tortoises and they had the run of a very secure garden
Many of the enclosures recommended are so small - and cruel.
Leave them out as much as possible and have a few tortoises.
You are showing how it should be done

Hi there, I live in the uk and my marginated tortoise is getting big! I want him to live outside all the time but I’m worried it will get to cold for him in the winter:( can you give me any advice on what you do with your tortoises? Thank you

Mine are out all year! They hibernate in their shed/house from October to late February.

@@kellywilson5887 mine have a heat bulb in the shed which is on every morning for an hour or 2 just to get them going for the day, however during the winter I fill the shed with a deeper layer of soil and they burrow down and hibernate, I don't add any heat. I also have 2 marginated tortoises which do the same!

They have heating in their hut but over the winter all heat is off and they hibernate themselves!
