Great video. Just getting into trying this in games. Thank you. Do you have any videos about trapping the injection at the top of the D on a short corner? Appreciated

I really struggle with consistency with my aerials - sometimes I catch them really well and they go pretty far (about 1/4 pitch is my best) and yet too many times they roll too far up the stick face and go about 3 metres 🙄
I know that ‘less is more’ with this technique, so staying loose and not tensing up is important.
It occurs to me from my practice, and also watching your video really carefully, that I may get a better result if I try to make contact with the ball towards the heel of the hook of the stick, and not in the centre of the hook. This allows the ball to roll up the shaft as you lift under it and then release it, whereas if you lift in the centre of the hook the ball can roll straight over the top and end up behind the stick.
Is this the correct way to do it?

If your stick goes under the ball too much, your wrists have rolled and the stick is too flat / horizontal. Try to get under the ball at maybe 45 degrees. Try tucking the stick handle into the crook of your arm / elbow - put the stick hand along your forearm basically (it gives your stick the nice 45 angle). It's all about the insertion of the stick head between the ball and the ground. Good luck man.

These vids are great but maybe put like a little preview of the full skill in the beginning. So if you don't know what the trick.was supposed to be from the title you still know what you are going to learn
