Thx for the comments, and you're right heat shrink tube is best, I didnt have any and the rearest retailer is to far sorry, but jasonman1515 is correct Heat Shrink Tube is the best way to go.

you should put heat shrink tube on it then it really would protect it.

Did you use normal hid bulb or did you use a d2s bulb? Thanks
Normal bulbs came with kit sorry for late reponse
