If you like the shit show that you are seeing in countless of videos on the site, then I guess that it's worth a sesh or two. It's so annoying that these games won't allow me to play as fast as the PS2 versions due to the shitty Mobile controls that they didn't even bother to change... When I try to steal a car from Peds, either I miss the car as the games are having trouble registering the 3rd input (Sprint, joystick and triangle), or the protagonist runs from the passenger side to the driver side of the car, making the jacking longer, since the protagonist have to drag the driver out. Then there's things in some story missions that doesn't make any sense. In the mission *Dildo Dodo,* instead of dropping Candy Suxxx's new project, the plane will instead drop the newspapers from III. You know, the one with the words "ZOMBIE ELVIS FOUND" (it's actually now "ZOMBIE ROCKER FOUND", making the silly joke useless now), and not to mention that there's no post-mission effects of said mission. It's so obvious that they didn't pay attention to the details of the old games, it's not even funny. Missing textures in PC version of VC that later appeared in Mobile ports also found it's way in the DE version. I can't imagine how these version pleases any fan of the series, casual or veteran...
@@mehdiwinter4220 Was just going to say, these DE Ports *are* Mobile Ports, just with "more updates." For instance, want to EASILY drive around an RC Vehicle in VC? Or fly one? Then check my RECENT VC Videos in my Guide, since, those work as well on the DE Version. No OM0. Just a Grenade. And you can store them outside of the Garage. In fact, would like to know (by seeing a Video) if after the you have it, if you can store it INSIDE A GARAGE and then ALSO casually enter/exit it without crashing. I hear that, too. Can enter/exit them casually AFTER you teleport into them the FIRST TIME. Once you do that, you can easily enter/exit them like any normal Vehicle and they save anywhere on the Map. Yeah, I've been watching some casual stuff on UA-cam and it's pretty embarrassing what I been seeing, honestly...
"More updates". Now that's a good one, lol. Wouldn't surprise me if that's what Rockstar meant with "and much more" in their GTA V - Expanded & Enhanced trailer. Yeah, I know. But the point is if these are the *Definitive Editions,* then shouldn't they run smoothly and play smoothly? The critics that GSG got for their shitty Mobile ports are still present in the DE titles. Not only that, but actually managed to make them even worse. In the end, it doesn't really matter if it's new stuff or not. The fact that they didn't fix jack shit, only makes things even worse and shows the clear lazyness of the development of these games. They said it took them 2 years to shit out this pathetic crap for a remaster. What the fuck have they done besides leaving basically everything to the AI to do all the work and not even bother to check the results? That's what I wanna know for sure. Way to treat your game that revolutionized the open-world gaming for years to come for its 20th anniversary... Now that I think about it, isn't the *Purple Nines Glitch* STILL present in DE III? I mean they basically patched every game-breaking glitch that's really up to the player to do if they wish so, but not patching actual game-breaking shit that *NO ONE* actually wants to do? Correct me if I'm wrong about that, but I thought I saw a comment somewhere where this person said that it's still present. You know the glitch at the *Hobo Tunnel* where you can spawn as many Hobo Peds as you want? Apparently that was in DE III as well (dunno if they patched it now tho, but it was there). It is questionable at best that they patched basically all the well-known glitches, even those that doesn't break the game, but not fixing shit that no one likes, like the *Purple Nines Glitch.* It might be the *Definitive Edition* for them, but it's not even remotely close to me. I still think that PS2 had the best visuals. Sure the graphics aged like shit, but you can really see the consistency of the art design in these games, unlike the DE versions. The look of those games (the gritty feel and look of LC in III, the 80's vibe in VC, and the orange atmosphere of LS in SA, and not to mention, the iconic lens flare of these games) are completely gone in these versions. Sure the lightning is improved in the DE versions, but man does these visuals look generic as fuuuuck... I bet they've picked the first thing they found in the Unreal Marketplace and called it a day, because it literally looks like some project of some developer in his spare time. I still don't understand why Rockstar themselves didn't work on it instead of handing it over to a team of 21 developers who have been nothing but disappointment in the past. Yeah, I still cannot comprehend this release after all the days that have passed... My disappointment is really immeasurable and still somehow surprised that Rockstar actually made a oopsie as bad as this.
@@mehdiwinter4220 Purple Nines Glitch is still there as far as I know. Also the ORDER of Missions locking you out of 100%, etc...Also the Portland Pay Phone REAPPEARING despite the Missions being completed, etc... True that. Rockstar themselves should of did this "project." Oh, it's bad. I know. I am just glad I will be able to play without paying for them, lol...
Wow. That should've been the *first* thing for them to patch, but no, let's patch all the shit that made the fans love the game and what it had to offer. Do you mean the order you do the story missions will affect your progress? Eh, it kinda makes sense because it would be pretty stupid if you could kill Kenji for Donald for only then to go to Kenji's Casino and do some work for him. But then again, they should've made those missions available later in the game instead. The ones in Portland however, doesn't make any sense at all... Indeed. You would think they give a shit about III's *20th anniversary,* "but nah, fuck that shit" is probably what they were thinking. Well I hope that you'll enjoy the shit show when you do join in, lol. Almost forgot to say, but my stupid PS4 updated my DE III, so unfortunately I'm no longer stuck on 1.02 and therefore won't be able to do DP conversion for any vehicle... I kept canceling and deleting the update, but it still comes back. So annoying...
The remasters are fucking shit that somehow actually plays and runs worse than the *PS2* versions. Sure the controls are outdated and kinda meh, but as long you learn how everything works, the controls does it's job really. The original games are fast-paced (more specifically, III and Vice City) and the *PS2* versions allowed you to play as fast as you physically can basically. The *DE* versions however, since they're based off the shitty *Mobile* ports, the issues with the controls are also true in the *DE* versions, with one of them being the game are having tough time registering the 3rd input. This back then was because of smartphone screens are having trouble with registering more than 2 inputs at the time. While that's somewhat acceptable in the *Mobile* ports, the *DE* version however is not since you can play it on consoles. That said, you cannot do more complex input as *smoothly* as the *PS2* versions. The *DE* versions are also not as viable for speedruns and collecting Special Vehicles as the PS2 versions due to numerous patches and very questionable physics changes. And from what I've heard, the Switch versions are the *WORST* version out there to play. It's way too poorly optimized to keep playing without getting too annoyed. If you can still get hold of the original version of III on Switch, then I would highly recommend doing that instead. The visuals are the *only* good thing about the *DE* "remasters", and they're not even that great really as they let the AI do most of the stuff and it's very noticeable as well.
Can't wait to actually try playing the DE III/VC/SA Ports on PC in the months to come LOL...

A reason among others that i won't buy it for my Switch Lite
