Irish Loco Hauled - part 1

- Video from couple of visits to Ireland in 2000 and 2005, mostly of the (long gone) charismatic class 141 diesel locos on branch/secondary line passenger trains. The larger class 071 and 201 locos are also featured. Classic railway operation, including train run-arounds, accompanied by the raucous chant of EMD Roots-blown V8 engines in the 141s - turn up the volume and enjoy!

Fantastic footage. Unusual to see a Cork train made up of just 6 mk3 coaches at the start.
Lovely Scenes from the Good Years on Irish Rail!😃.
Great day's
Wish them days were back again
Very unlikely loco haulage will return, but nice memories 🙂
