Damm I wish I did read more about the sims, I only bought the Petrucci because of the Transpose effect, while Gojira has the 5150 type sound which I dig more. Still, the Petrucci isn't bad, but now I'm sold on Gojira X.
Really been enjoying the Gojira X plugin. Loved the original but this new upgrade really feels like it add that extra icing on the cake

I remember doing transpose on the original gojira by setting the virtual whammy pedal to a certain settings, but compared to my phisical digitech whammy dt it didn't sound or feel as good, has it improved since?

soo cool I was going to buy the petrucci one for the doubler and the transpose but I prefere the tone of the gojira. So now I know what to do !

I liked the graphics a lot more on the older non-X flavors of the Plini and Gojira. Love they brought the Transpose and Doubler over for free.
The menu is more along the lines of how the Quad Cortex looks like

the Gojira Legacy is not the same as this, because of less headroom once you crack up levels they over drive or saturate earlier which seems way more limited in headroom, all my presets including the ones that came with legacy do not sound the same, i read that its not even the same sim, you think at a flash that you got Gojira with all these features like transpose, metronome etc but they could not help to of messed with the sound and ruined it, at this moment the best sims alike are Kazrog, Bogren, Mercurial 6160 and KUassa..get the Kuassa Whammy and you have the gojira legacy with any of these sim...
Gojira X sounds like Pellini or petrucci
With all due respect, but what? I guess it's personal preference, however when I use plugin doctor, I can see they fixed a lot of low mid rumble and high mid sizzle that the OG Gojira had. Also, the headroom, in my opinion, is much better on X. When I push X a bit, it doesn't start to artificially saturate and become this sizzling machine or loose low end definition, which the original tends to do when you drive either the input or the master knob. For me, X is much more usable and pushable in a context of a high gain metal tone, whereas the OG had to be controlled with either a ton of MB, EQ or De-esser. @@mia-raphael

There's a doubler feature built into the plugin!
@@Sinisterbvnny i know, but no i mean, you've said that you can do that in daw using some other plugins. Do you know them ?
@@RGMFchannel yeah, just duplicate your guitar track, pan your original track to right the duplicated one to the left (or vice versa) and add ReaDelay (which comes built in with reaper) to the duplicated track's fx's chain to the top, then 0 out the musical length and adjust the time length to your liking, it will create the same result as duplicate feature which is just doing the same stuff but close sourced way. I reccommend adding (or duplicating ) a third track and centering it to be able to switch to the mono back whenever you want. this way you can turn off the left and right tracks and turn on the mono one and play like you originally did
That's one solution to practice with a double effect, but please don't do this when recording 😅😅
@@basarsubas5535 that's not doubler that we have in gojira. I mean realtime doubler. Im using daw to practice and play , not to record. My question was do u guys know plugins to do the realtime double tracking similar to what they dod in gojira

please, start with the Fortin stuff, Soldano, Omega, at this point the Gojira X sounds like Nolly and Omega which sounded almost as loud is better.
I mentioned in another post that people are saying the Version X has 3db less headroom, sounds more low end saturated then before cause of this as you need to turn up the presets the amp changes tone, so all your previous presets including the default are not the same, open them both as stand alone side by side you will notice the default and artists presets on version X up 3db, even more., yet its still lower., as soon as you try cranking it the dam thing breaks up
Whats the difference between transpose and the pitchsift pedal?
Pitch pedal is less diatonic and can be mapped to a physical pedal, the transpose tunes by semitones

I more like the Nolly. I think it sounds huge with less mids leading to synths, vocals and other elements in the mix to have room. And the music in the background is unnecessary for this type of stuff imo.
From a content creator's side, people don't stick around if you have silence or just voice, FYI

I have plenty of other videos of playthroughs and demos of many NDSP plugins. If it was a playthrough, I would most likely have had that in the title... As a creator, it gets sad that people's attention spans are so abysmal that they can't go more than 10 seconds without needing a new stimulus. Not harping on you specifically, im js.
