I watched this video two years ago. I will tell you that this video has influenced my solo camp style. Looking forward to new videos from Japan. Thank you.
I like those folding cups better than the one plastic cup I have in my Red Rock Outdoors kit. Looks like you had a great day and found a great spot! Thanks for sharing ... Your sausage looked great!
It was nice to get out man, your kit is a little different than the one I have...I thought that bowl you have looked pretty cool. Thanks for stopping by
I agree that is a great little mess kit. I use mine all the time. Lightweight and easy to clean plus it's self contained. Looks like you had a nice day out. Thanks for sharing. Enjoy & be safe !
It was nice to get out. The kit really isn't bad at all. I saw ***** use it with his wife and Daughter once and knew I needed to try it out. Todd Creswell also rocked his as well. Thanks ks for checking out my video.
Bought one myself, it's a great little kit. The small mug is great for sachets of coffee (I like my coffee quite strong) and the big one perfect for porridge or cereal or soups. Only small complaint, as you mentioned, is the spork is the wrong way round for right handed people IMO. I've replaced mine with a Light My Fire KFS which has the cutting edge where I want it to be and a better spoon for liquids.
Just watched this one again Shane, good comprehensive showing of the kit, well lit, good audio and all that jazz. I ordered one of the kits months ago from Amazon but it looks like it FINALLY shipped out, looking forward to eggs, sausage and pancakes on the mountain top lol.
Sweet little piece of cook kit Shane! As a fellow chef of the woods, I am definitely looking into getting one of these. The fact it all packs up in one unit is awesome and the cutting board aspect of it sold me. Very cool and *very* well done on the video my friend.
Thats a nice compact kit and a lot of stuff to it too, love that location your in up on that hill, great view up there! Never really thought about using a wood stove for cooking outdoors but the more i see you using yours the more im considering trying one out. I'll have to start looking at that wildo kit for me and Stephanie. Thanks for sharing, always like a real use review like this to see it in action.
Thanks Jeremy Woodward it's not a bad kit at all. Did Stephanie show you the pics of your mess kit that came. Notice my Pack I'm using. It was such a nice day out but man, oh man, was it windy. I always appreciate those kind words Brother. Thanks.
Yeah we are excited to get out and use that mess kit! really glad that pack is working out for you too! we cant wait for the bushcraft meet up, will be riding with bob808 so hope we make it in one piece! lol
Brother Shane!..you know I loved this right?...I loved this...really really really loved this...did I mention that I loved this?...lol. Why?...Because this is a cooking episode...but then again you do that a lot with your stoves...so there. Now, you know my personal weakness....cooking. And to let you know brother...My Shout Out to you brother will be up by Morning time On a Sunday...I think...yep sure will...It's the Brew that everybody is talking about...as far as BushCraft goes...lol.
Nicely crafted video! Great angles and timing. I really like eating out of silicone because it keeps my food warm longer. Plastic is much the same way, that kit looked to have a bit of both. Thanks!
Awesome man. That was one wicked looking breakfast. I honestly don't think one can own too many cook/mess kits, there are just too many fantastic options out there to try out. Take care bud.
As always... That's some good food. Like the mess kit. I keep meaning to get out and try my Boy Scout mess kit and fry up some bacon and pan cakes but I really want to wait till I can have a camp fire. It's just not the same with alcohol or the pocket rocket stoves. LOL. Thanks for the vid. Looked like a great spot to stop for breakfast.
The food was good. I had a pretty good long hike after this so...I was hungry again by the time I got to the car, Lol. The kit worked great did was it was supposed to and no problems with it take care man
Looks like a good piece of gear. That's what I like, compact & light. Sure looks like Missouri/Kansas to me. I see I'm not the only guy out there with car &truck noise in the background. Heck, I don't even notice it anymore. Good video Shane.
Iowa, on the Nebraska Border. Yeah we've got a huge supply of Union Pacific amd Burlington Northern Depots. In the area where I was. I was also across from Omaha Empty Air Field. It's a nice kit and it's definitely light weight. Thanks for watching.
i got a set of those in OG great for camps n day hikes, plus when you eat your not juggling a red hot pan thats covered in crap from the fire, keeps everything cleaner, ps nice location, atb, dave
Thanks For Watching Dave...Thanks for making some valid points. It's a keeper..Especially when I'm out with my wife. She doesn't like getting all full of soot.
Wicked nice spot you decided to stop at man, very pretty place. Well done, that is a nice camp box man. the meal looked good bro. Dang alot of food and i havent had breakfast yet, now i got to go eat. lol Take care buddy.
I wouldn't say it really cuts down in steps but, it sure is handy. Holding 1 cup 1 large cup that can be a bowl 2 large plate/bowls, a cutting board, strainer, spork, and shaker. It saves on room to carry all this. It's just a nice little kit. Thanks for watching man and commenting. I always appreciate it.
Thanks brother, I did find that one when I went searching, and now I have an idea for a snowpeak mod... if it looks like it is going to work I'll shoot that vid tomorrow...
Just happened to come across your vid. after looking for a good breakfast vid. I am very impressed with your fire starting skillz. What is this "First bite rule" you speak of? There are rules you must follow while cooking in the outdoors? Sounds very complicated. I would like to learn more about cooking outdoors, so I subbed your channel. Thank you very much for your contribution to my life skillz. Happy Easter to you my friend.
I made my pancakes the hard way...lol, just some Aunt Jemima pancake mix. Just add water. Sometime simple is best. Thanks for watching and I'm glad you got some ideas!!
I think you could have made that entire meal just using a pot, the pot lid, and a metal cup. Ate it with a spoon, and been able to clean the whole kit on site, ready to use again. As it is, plastic stuff is just more crap to haul around and take up space once the meal is done.
I took about 3 hours out in the woods wandering around. It was so nice to get out. I'm not sure how far I actually hiked though. Thanks for watching man take care Shane
Thanks for the advice. I called Wildo of Sweden to make sure I was pronouncing it correctly since, they were kind enough to send it my way. I followed it up with emails to their American Distributor to make sure I didn't lose something in translation. Thanks for watching.
Seriously? If I want cheap plastic crap, I'll just go to Walmart. The store is full of it. I guess such stuff is fine for a picnic, but for real use in the woods, it's a complete waste of money, and can even be deadly. I would say it's for children, but no way in the world would I teach a child that it's something they should use.
I was a little apprehensive when I first got it, I don't know how it could be deadly...I use the fold a cups still quit a bit in conjunction with my heavy cover titanium kit. I wouldn't say it's necessarily for a picnic but, it could be used for that if you like.... Getting outdoors into the woods is what it's all about. This may not be for you and that's cool, it's still a possible option for someone. I spend a lot of time in the woods and I don't see a problem with this at all. I'm not cooking in it, lol. As far as kids, my children don't prefer the kit. One son uses his MSR seagull pot in conjunction with his Space saver stainless cup. My other uses his Stainless Snowpeak Kettle and Space saver cup. So yes, Seriously it's an option. Thanks for watching at any rate.
I watched this video two years ago. I will tell you that this video has influenced my solo camp style. Looking forward to new videos from Japan. Thank you.
Thank you so much. That really means a lot to me. I hope you find adventure and peace

Thanks for watching, I love hearing from people who use the same stuff. It really is a nice kit.
Very nice video. Good music. Well put together. Presented the product in action. Showed some beautiful scenery. Nice cap too. Bravo.
Thanks for those kind words, I appreciate that. Love my hat!
Awesome little stoves handle that big breakfast with no problem. Thanks for sharing my friend.
That little stove from Firebox..has not let me down. It's done a lot of work for its size. Thanks for watching.
Nice little kit. Looks like you had a good day out in the hills.
Thanks for sharing the view!
It was nice to get out. The kit really isn't bad at all. I saw ***** use it with his wife and Daughter once and knew I needed to try it out. Todd Creswell also rocked his as well. Thanks ks for checking out my video.

It's always better to eat outside. This little kit does a great job. Best part is, it packs away perfectly.
Meal looks great Shane, that is a beautiful spot you picked too! I really like that camp box too.
That was a nice place...I really enjoyed the view and the food. Sometimes it's great to just get out and take it all in. Thanks for watching Karen.

Looks like an awesome kit. I'm planning to completely change up my cook kit this year for fun.
Jason
Hey jason. I change mine up almost every time I go out. Lol. It's just fun to try different things.
Nicely crafted video! Great angles and timing. I really like eating out of silicone because it keeps my food warm longer. Plastic is much the same way, that kit looked to have a bit of both. Thanks!
Thanks for coming along and enjoying the video. It's always a good day when we can get out.
I bought the kit based on this video. I received it today. Can't wait to use it. Thanks. :-)
Awesome! I know you're going to enjoy it. It's just so convenient thanks for watching I appreciate it.
Awesome man. That was one wicked looking breakfast. I honestly don't think one can own too many cook/mess kits, there are just too many fantastic options out there to try out.
Take care bud.
I know man, I enjoy using different cook kits. I really like this because I can pack it away dirty. Sometimes, I'm not always by water.
As always... That's some good food. Like the mess kit. Thanks for watching Kdawg!!! Your right, sometimes it's just not the same on a gas stove. It was so windy out I'm just thankful I was able to cook.
looks like the camp-a-box works pretty well, food looked good to. atb John
The food was good. I had a pretty good long hike after this so...I was hungry again by the time I got to the car, Lol. The kit worked great did was it was supposed to and no problems with it take care man

And items like the collapsible bowls and drink glasses work good too
I wouldn't say it really cuts down in steps but, it sure is handy. Holding 1 cup 1 large cup that can be a bowl 2 large plate/bowls, a cutting board, strainer, spork, and shaker. Hi, what brand of frypan do you used?
Hi,
Cup from which you drink that capacity has mlilitri?
Will the Firebox Nano fit in the Wildo kit?
I’ll have to check. I’ll let ya know!!

Oh...the Firebox nano is a great choice.

Ok sounds good.

It's the Fjallraven Rucksack No.21 medium. I'll be doing a review on it soon. I just wanted to get more use out of it.
Спасибо! Интересное видео! Хочу себе такой же набор купить.
