Little bit of context about that particular song. It's more like a cover or Metsatöll's version of the original song. The author of the melody is Valter Ojakäär (RIP), who is one of the old people in the video, on the right of the bearded older gentleman with a cap on his head Veljo Tormis (RIP), who was also an Estonian composer. Lyrics author is Leelo Tungal (poet, writer). The original song was performed by Heli Lääts (RIP) in 1966 (not sure, if it is available on youtube, but a newer version of her singing this song is available). Metsatöll's version is also a theme song for a TV mini-series "Tuulepealne maa".
So, yeah, not a typical Metsatöll song. To get the real taste of Metsatöll, then I would suggest Lahinguväljal Näeme, Külmking, Küü, Saaremaa Vägimees, Koduhiite Kaitsel (from the latest album), Kurjajuur (from the latest album), Muhu Õud (for those deep vocals 😂) etc etc etc

I've heard about this band but don't remember where🤔.. instrumentally I liked this very much and that choir also sounded cool and it was interesting to listen this Estonian language because I don't know do you know but Finnish and Estonian are pretty close to each others and there are many words that you can "understand" or actually deduce the meaning of many of the words!!😅
Pretty awesome location and good performance!! That chanting sounded also good and those parts reminded me about Wintersun guite a lot!! Maybe not the music I really like to listen but this was still good🤘

What don't you have music festivals in castles in Germany? You have so many castles! We have Savonlinna Opera festival in Finland en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Savonlinna_Opera_Festival, over one hundred years already, is held in a castle. It was in hiatus though, but since 1967 it's been annual.
I like Metsatöll a lot! First time heard of them in a comment in this channel. It was awesome they had a choir with them... only thing more awsome would have been had they dressed for the occasion a bit more according to theme. Folk metal theme. I'm talking about Iron Age Estonian clothing. This performances ending was longer than a death in a bad B-movie, but fortunately this was much better quality. Metsatöll isn't about who sings the prettiest or has the most amazing guitar solo, it's about attitude and feeling, and I'm feeling it!
