I grew up with Tony Thompson. His mother and my mother are best friends. His mother is also my God Mother. I love him and his family. #RIPLilTony❤
Your storytelling is great and accurate and it made me sad...
SN: Russell and his brother Ronald are murderers. Unfortunately my best friend was married to Ronald Neal(Russell Neal's brother) and he killed her...💔
A Lil Fact: Tony Thompson sung at my best friends wedding when she married Ronald. I'm still so heart broken over all of this. It hits different when you know these people.... #RIPBonnie💔

I became good friends with Tony in 1998 and he was struggling with drugs, and the hurt from the group members. I ran into Tony about 3 months before he died at Church. He introduced me to his wife, and I introduced him to my wife. Tony was a Beautiful person. He ate dinner and hung out with my family in Fort Worth Texas. And it was devastating when I heard that he had passed.

A beautiful soul all the way. My heart still aches for him to this day. Shout out to the mother of his son because she really loved him and was there for him. It's ironic, Russel Neal went to Morehouse, and look what still happened to him. These boys were experiencing too much at such a young age. Where were the parents during all of this mess? You shouldn't leave your kids in the hands of the record label to educate them and monitor them daily on the road. Maybe seeing what happened to these individuals, will open the eyes of the parents. Tony was 31 i was 36 when he passed on i was so heartbroken and traumatized by this event, he couldn't cope with all the disappointments that were coming his way lets just say he couldn't stand to be Rejected especially by his former group members that was the ladt straw basically but i am not understood why he didn't get back into the church were he started. I am not judging him but he could have been stronger for all of the people who loved him including his fans. TonyThompson you will always be loved by me and respected continue to rest well with God tell my daughter mother sister and grandmother i said hi and sing for them in that heavenly choir i know Hod has you in baby.

Met them many years ago on the campus of NCCU. Tony, had the limousine driver stop and roll down the roof and said "What's up fellas!" , to me and my boys that I was hanging out with after 🏫. I was/still am a big admirer of The Hi-Five 🎵 catalog. This cat was on the verge of being one of the great lead vocalists in 🎵 history! 😇

YES! 👍🏾💯👍🏾 Too bad the younger generation doesn't know what real music is today. 😣 I Don't Know what they call it these days. The music started to get real "ratchet" in the mid to late 90's. I didn't even care for the Sugar Hill Gang when they first came out back in the day when my friends and I were clubbing. Although, that was when rap was a lot cleaner back then. Oops, I think I just told you how old I am! LOL! 😂 They don't even have groups and bands like that anymore. I went to a lot of concerts back then. Today's music industry sucks big time. Tony Thompson may be gone too soon, but, he is most definitely, not forgotten. 🎶🎤🎶 May he R.I.P. Much love. 😘💕😘

    - my high school years would've been so different without, "Quality time" and "Unconditional love" they had so many tracks but these two.. lawd Jesus I was so in love lol
    - Unconditional love is one of the best songs on the menace to society soundtrack
    - and this group just went thru so much.. I pray those who have gone on are truly in peace.

But their original management was ripping them off big time. They were signed to a production contract- just like New Edition was at MCA Records before they bought their way out of that deal, which is nothing more than legalized slavery.
