So she could have been significantly older when it was put in her meaning memory would have been much more developed. Also also given her extra sensory abilities and control of her skin maybe she could have just felt where it was without the "shocking" nature of it.

im pretty sure crocodiles are the closest things to dinasuars to be honest :) But i get your point about the chickens, and in hindsight anything would have been better than frogs haha.
Crocodiles and Alligators are not surviving dinosaurs. Surviving archeosaurs, yes, but not dinosaurs. Birds on the other hand, are taxonomically classed as dinosaurs.
I heard a theory suggesting the Indominus has human DNA too. Given its tactical and creative thinking, hunting for only for sport (which is only found in humans), hands, and the shot with a human-like spinal cord. I personally believe it had human DNA.
I understand why they created that hybrid, but I don’t want a modern version of doctor Frankenstein’s monster in our world terrorizing everything and everyone.
Is it also possible it has any human DNA as it was said in the movie by Chris that she was killing for sport as humans are one of the only animals that do that
If you were in a cage all your life and were suddenly freed Never making contact with anything alive im sure youd somehow kill things out of nature or like he said shes testing her limits
That helicopter gunning scene pissed me off. It sounded like an old .50 Calibur, not what it actually is, and what it can do in real life would turn indominus rex into goop
Brox, That is the problem that the minigun was designed to solve. if it can work for air to air combat, the idea that you can't just lay on the trigger and follow the tracers in is crazy. hell look up hog hunts with miniguns, those bastard are faster and smaller and get recked by the dozens because 25 rds a second tends to solve alot of problems
turinlowe Doesn't change the fact that they missed. And air to air combat? Are you sure you don't mean the Vulcan? That's an autocannon, not a minigun. Miniguns are typically air to ground support weapons, like depicted in the film.
now if I were to design a holding pen for a dinosaur there would be a door exactly like the one on the pen for the I-Rex but only goes as high as a person so it cant break out even if it is open
yeah, it could've been fine if they just made a detachable wall side for transfer of enclosure and a small gate for humans but what they did is basically a huge metal-concrete all-purpose door that takes a minute to even close. The film was great nevertheless, and without that, we couldn't see dinosaur havoc once again.
@@aniusers Well, they could have kept the larger door, since it's far more practical than taking an entire section of the wall off. The door was clearly sturdy enough while closed, but the security guy opened it, instantly made it less stable. There should have been a smaller door next to it, and the controls on the inside should have only opened that one.
@@ZZMonkeysUncleZZ The I-rex tricked them into opening the large paddock door. They entered on the other side through a man door. The scratches were all next to that main loading gate. The fat security guard panics and opens the entire gate. As others have said there should have been a man door there as well. In addition that gate should have been an airlock style system with that gate opening to a loading zone with an identical gate. They are truly giving themselves a single point of failure. Same with the pterodactyl enclosure. 8 foot tall carnivorous flying dynos, but this simpled glass shell is sufficient, no way it could ever break.
There was in fact a human-sized door. That was the door which they used to venture into the enclosure. When they running back towards it, they found the Indominus rex blocking the path.
I think what irks me the most about all these paleontologists who call out JP for being "inaccurate," is the fact that they clearly never read the books. The inaccuracy of the animals was the primary plot device. They weren't true dinosaurs. They were, as Grant said in JP3, "genetically engineered theme park monsters."
Terrifying and unrealistic. Over the top monster that looks like taken straight from a fairy tale. That's not how a hybrid should look like, that looks like a chimera. You'd have to turn it down a lot. But that's just my opinion.
Jia Jun Oh Well, about the feathers it's all about the design. I'm sure you could make a creepy raptor with feathers, it's just that many paleoarts are ugly. But the lack of feathers is explained in the books, so they decided to just stick to the franchise. Indominus is over the top with its power too but its design is something that would be expected from mixing all the dinosaurs together. Ultimasaurus doesn't look like something "in between" but instead "all in one", and that makes it farfetched.
Its usually called The Plauge or The Scourge from what i remember, if your fan of Warcraft and The Scourge you should buy yourself Arthas, rize of the Lich King by Christie Golden. ( I might have mixed up the name since i dont have the book in english )
Wouju I do not recommend her books, she's a rather reviled writer for her inability to separate politics from her work, and she does not know much of the lore. The only book she gets good praise for is "Rise of the Horde" which actually is just Metzens worked penned into a book.
1.) could you talk about the Future Predator from Primeval? 2.) does anyone know how much this hybrid dinosaur weighs? 3.) do you make top ten videos? 4.) will you talk about Power Rangers, please?
1) Yes I will add that to the list mate, thank you 2) Its not stated in the film but we can make an approximation. (Considering the Giganotosaurus was said to have weighed 8,000 KG + the T-rex was between 6,000 - 9000KG, and we know the Indominus is taller and longer than both it would be fair to say it weighed between 9,000 -11,000KG. 3) I made a top 10 horror movie list during halloween - ua-cam.com/video/ysC56Tfyn-E/v-deo.html 4) And of course, if you like the power rangers, I can add that to the list of things to look at also. Hope that was helpful buddy :)
In the deleted scenes the i rex is said to have had human dna put in it, which explained its intelligence and psychopathic tendencies. I like to think that scene is still canon.
The Indominus’ Velocirpator dna coming from the Big one lineage would be much more plausible, rather than the cheesy cop-out of having human dna to explaining her behavior.
Her escape was entirely reliant on the incompetence of the humans. There’s no way she had the foresight to know that they’d enter her paddock before checking her tracker. The I-Rex was just astronomical lucky
It's cool that the indominus is a mixture of many extraordinary animals, but the part where the indominus is able to communicate to the raptors because it has raptor DNA wouldn't easily make sense. I would say that the indominus was also part lyrebird, a type of bird that is able to mimic any kind of noise including cameras, chainsaws, people, and other animals. So the indominus noticed that the raptors where social animals, thus it used it's intelligence to communicate with it using lyrebird DNA to mimic the raptors voice so it can turn the raptors against the humans. An unholy creature indeed...
The hell is a xenomorph King? They're a matriarchal species last time I checked; their leader's a QUEEN. Also, directed at 2weakkickflip: Yes, he should prioritise YOUR favourite suggestion over any of the thousands that came before it... why, exactly? You're not more important than anyone else. I have videos I'd rather he focus on too, but you don't see me bitching.
The I-rex could have been such an amazing attraction-if you partly add out the viper/frog genes. The thermal stuff is what made her so dangerous. Put her in a proper enclosure since birth, leave the sibling in there and add like velociraptors or smth-she‘d be amazing and thriving.
The scariest thing about this creature is it’s seemingly incredible agility, it would have taken a t-Rex over 4 seconds to turn around, it takes this one less than 2. That’s fucking scary dude.
If the Indominus was allowed to grow properly outside of the enclosure, I suspect it would have become a leader of the dinosaurs, a little like a pack leader or representative role, especially since it could communicate with Raptors, among the most intelligent of the dinosaurs.
And had it had someone like Owen caring for it, the entirity of Jurassic World would not have occured, as they wouldn't have a Amaterasu-damned sociopathic giant raptor with anger issues killing everything.
It’s clear why Masrani use the word “Monster” only in reference to the Idominus Rex, despite having other carnivores; because that’s exactly what she is: A Monster! It isn’t just because she was raised in isolation her entire life with severe undeveloped social skills,(with her only interaction with humans is when her food is given to her); that fact is she simply designed to be that way! As Claire mentioned earlier in film: “they wanted them bigger, scarier, more teeth!” Before the introduction of her successor, the Indoraptor, The Idomius was the only true hybrid created by Henry and not just a clone of a dinosaur that already existed on the fossil record! Ironically, unlike all the others dinosaurs, her modified genes enables her to adapt and understand the environment she in, conversely, as Owen bluntly told Clair: “she doesn’t even know what she is”; and her vicious unpredictable nature, combined with her predatory instincts and high cognitive abilities allows her to know her place on the food chain!
The Indomidus Rex is also telepathic and capable of seeing the future. At least, that's the only explanation for how it figures out things like knowing how the humans will react if she hides her thermal signature, or what the tracker was for, or half a dozen other times where she displays not just intelligence but also knowledge.

When the Indominus started killing for sport, I was utterly convinced that the big reveal near the end was going to be "we used human DNA"... But no, they had to go with the boring raptor linguistics DNA.
This may be a stretch but there is a Dinosaur game that I think could be cool to check out and do an analysis on... Fossil Fighters, if you ever play the games I think it be a fun thing to do a video on
I always felt bad for the Indominus. She was a Frankenstein's monster bred purely for violence. She was isolated, never given any kind of enrichment, and was stuck in an enclosure MUCH too small for her. It's no wonder she went on a killing spree. On top of her mash-up of genes, she never had the chance to properly develop behaviorally. A creature that smart needs things to DO. Otherwise it becomes destructive, which she did. So I don't really blame her for being so violent. She was doing what she was created to do, with the added bonus of taking out her rage and frustration on the people who had trapped her.
I think if the Indominus rex or Indoraptor lived long enough and escaped, theyd have caused the extinction of humanity. Or at the very least a lot of death and destruction.

Not to mention that since you have made videos on the dinosaur antagonists of both Jurassic World films, maybe it's time you make a video for the antagonist of JP3! Guarantee you'd get a hell of a lot of views for that one!
Another video I had seen pointed out that Indy was also capable of being a very compassionate creature when you consider the possibility that it killed its sibling to save it from the torture of the lab testing. To me, that adds another layer to its hatred of man.

The scientists should have used chicken dna not frog dna. I am pretty sure the chickens are the closest things to dinosaurs that live right now.
im pretty sure crocodiles are the closest things to dinasuars to be honest :) But i get your point about the chickens, and in hindsight anything would have been better than frogs haha.
FilmComicsExplained actually crocs and aligators ARE surviving dinos i still enjoyed yhe vid dude good job
Crocodiles and Alligators are not surviving dinosaurs. Surviving archeosaurs, yes, but not dinosaurs. Birds on the other hand, are taxonomically classed as dinosaurs.
Serban Kline ah i see. But i dont see how chickens are related to a t rex if we eat chicken on the daily basically
Final hunter 97 yea i know about the dog and wolf thing but a chicken and trex sounds a little absurd to me lol im jus gonna research it

Change my mind
I heard a theory suggesting the Indominus has human DNA too. Given its tactical and creative thinking, hunting for only for sport (which is only found in humans), hands, and the shot with a human-like spinal cord. I personally believe it had human DNA.
"The kids? This'll give the parents nightmares" best line in the movie.
Again, playing God like this will never end well.
The indominus Rex was really something new and different in the Jurassic park franchise a epic hybrid😃😃😃😎😎!!!
Why do i keep seeing you😂😂😂
I love watching Jurassic park movies. It just shows us once again human never learn 🤗🤗🤗🤗
Living in isolation would make anyone disfunctional not just the dinosaur
I thought this video was coming soon. Thanks 😎🇻🇮
you're welcome mate!
I appreciate it
You're a great narrator! I love your videos. Really well organized information and very entertaining. Keep up the great work!
I believe the correct pronunciation of the giganotasaurus “Gig-ah-not-asaurus” not “Jai-gant-osaurus”
Nah it's jig-ah-not-asaurud
@@nailuj2979 correction it's actually "Jigha-Not-duree,Saurus"
Finally someone said it
This hybrid dinosaur was insane and pretty awesome.
The Jurassic franchise is the best Dinosaur movies
It's also basically the only movies with dinosaurs
It's the only dinosaur movies
Troll Man they're not true dinosaurs they just look like them
I understand why they created that hybrid, but I don’t want a modern version of doctor Frankenstein’s monster in our world terrorizing everything and everyone.
If this was real, if indominus existed, this would not be fair for indominus
Is it also possible it has any human DNA as it was said in the movie by Chris that she was killing for sport as humans are one of the only animals that do that
very likely, I always thought the same thing Cameron!
If it did they'd mention it in the movie somehow.
If you were in a cage all your life and were suddenly freed Never making contact with anything alive im sure youd somehow kill things out of nature or like he said shes testing her limits
Felines also kill for fun
But humans aren’t the only ones that hunt for sport cats I mean house cats also hunt for entertainment
That helicopter gunning scene pissed me off. It sounded like an old .50 Calibur, not what it actually is, and what it can do in real life would turn indominus rex into goop
They should have gone with a rifle or something so it didn't look like such a shitshow.
Landon Lewe
It would. If they had hit it. Flying platform+fast moving target+relative small size=difficult shot.
Brox, That is the problem that the minigun was designed to solve. if it can work for air to air combat, the idea that you can't just lay on the trigger and follow the tracers in is crazy. hell look up hog hunts with miniguns, those bastard are faster and smaller and get recked by the dozens because 25 rds a second tends to solve alot of problems
turinlowe
Doesn't change the fact that they missed.
And air to air combat? Are you sure you don't mean the Vulcan? That's an autocannon, not a minigun. Miniguns are typically air to ground support weapons, like depicted in the film.
It would have.
If the people firing the damn minigun could actually aim.
now if I were to design a holding pen for a dinosaur there would be a door exactly like the one on the pen for the I-Rex but only goes as high as a person so it cant break out even if it is open
Exactly, that feature caused the whole event.
yeah, it could've been fine if they just made a detachable wall side for transfer of enclosure and a small gate for humans but what they did is basically a huge metal-concrete all-purpose door that takes a minute to even close.
Nice I love jurassic park
Me too!
I wasn't expecting this episode but I was not disappointed. Great work👌
"it's bigger than expected"
That's literally what she said hahaahahaha
Or what HE hopes she will say lol
I think what irks me the most about all these paleontologists who call out JP for being "inaccurate," is the fact that they clearly never read the books. The inaccuracy of the animals was the primary plot device. They weren't true dinosaurs. They were, as Grant said in JP3, "genetically engineered theme park monsters."
Filling dino DNA with frog DNA is like filling human DNA with an eel.
Its sad when you realise mosquitos didnt exist 65 million years ago :(
Oh The Indominus Rex, so much potential with genetic splicing, so much disappointment to find out it's a T-rex-sized raptor covered in flour
What kind of Dinosaur would you have liked to have seen Jia?
FilmComicsExplained Well search up Ultimasaurus and that hybrid design would truly be terrifying. Although I would turn down the spikes a little bit
Terrifying and unrealistic. Over the top monster that looks like taken straight from a fairy tale. That's not how a hybrid should look like, that looks like a chimera. You'd have to turn it down a lot.
But that's just my opinion.
Well I mean this is similar to the whole dinosaurs with feathers debate. Make it realistic = Doesn't look as cool though some love that look
What shocked me the most was that the Indominus Rex wasn't even fully grown yet.
Can you talk about the Flood from the Halo series or the Plague of Undeath from the Warcraft series?
Its usually called The Plauge or The Scourge from what i remember, if your fan of Warcraft and The Scourge you should buy yourself Arthas, rize of the Lich King by Christie Golden. ( I might have mixed up the name since i dont have the book in english )
No the Scourge is the undead army. Plague is just short for the Plague of Undeath
Genji i knew i was wrong somewhere, thanks you corrected me!
Wouju I do not recommend her books, she's a rather reviled writer for her inability to separate politics from her work, and she does not know much of the lore. The only book she gets good praise for is "Rise of the Horde" which actually is just Metzens worked penned into a book.
Warcraft, or the one series where even the undead can be sexy.
1.) could you talk about the Future Predator from Primeval?
2.) does anyone know how much this hybrid dinosaur weighs?
3.) do you make top ten videos?
4.) will you talk about Power Rangers, please?
1) Yes I will add that to the list mate, thank you
2) Its not stated in the film but we can make an approximation. (Considering the Giganotosaurus was said to have weighed 8,000 KG + the T-rex was between 6,000 - 9000KG, and we know the Indominus is taller and longer than both it would be fair to say it weighed between 9,000 -11,000KG.
3) I made a top 10 horror movie list during halloween - ua-cam.com/video/ysC56Tfyn-E/v-deo.html
4) And of course, if you like the power rangers, I can add that to the list of things to look at also.
Hope that was helpful buddy :)
FilmComicsExplained thank you very, very much! Good luck with your future videos! 👌
thanks buddy!
“Life finds a way” that’s true in real life.
So this is where the former Drift King went to after losing in Tokyo Drift.
"Bulletproof gyro" Owen says hi
In the deleted scenes the i rex is said to have had human dna put in it, which explained its intelligence and psychopathic tendencies. I like to think that scene is still canon.
The Indominus’ Velocirpator dna coming from the Big one lineage would be much more plausible, rather than the cheesy cop-out of having human dna to explaining her behavior.
Also, deleted scene? I’d like the see the evidence of this, since human dna has always been a hard SPECULATION.
I call it now..your channel will blow up in 2018
Jesus Moses? Why why...is that ur real name
Her escape was entirely reliant on the incompetence of the humans.
There’s no way she had the foresight to know that they’d enter her paddock before checking her tracker.

I'm guessing she might have some human DNA in her and a bit of chameleon
That’s an extreme over speculation.
BUT your idea is a much more interesting idea than what was in the actual movie. I love it!
Could you imagine, the I-rex mimicking the final words of it's victims?
Good video keep it up man.
thanks buddy!
Are you gonna talk about the xenomorph king?
es mate eventually, I have literally pages of suggestions to get through :)
FilmComicsExplained I see...
FilmComicsExplained Please prioritize it, it’s such an interesting topic :)
YEAA!!! Love your videos, keep up the good work man!!❤️❤️❤️
If the Indominus was allowed to grow properly outside of the enclosure, I suspect it would have become a leader of the dinosaurs, a little like a pack leader or representative role, especially since it could communicate with Raptors, among the most intelligent of the dinosaurs.
That would have been very interesting to see!
She's also knowledgeable of things that she shouldn't even know.
That would be an overstretch. It is too much to suppose that she could possess knowledge of human thermal-detection technology.
I love how in-depth this is. So freaking cool. Thanks and keep going ♥️
I hope we see her skeleton in fallen kingdom. It would make a foreboding scene.
hmm indeed!
But it was dragged underwater so how would we even know it from the bones

The indominus did not survive a direct hit from a rocket. It hit the tree, bc it couldnt lock onto its heat signature
When the Indominus started killing for sport, I was utterly convinced that the big reveal near the end was going to be "we used human DNA"... But no, they had to go with the boring raptor linguistics DNA.

Warner Bros asked me to remove the first video mate, which I did. I dont want to antagonise them further :)
FilmComicsExplained man sorry to hear that..... thanks for letting us know!!!
Can you talk about the zombie virus from the Japanese movie "I am hero"?

That’s my favorite Dinosaur!!

I've noticed you've done videos like this one on the Indoraptor Explored as well. I REALLY REALLY would absolutely love to see you do a video on the Spinosaurus from Jurassic Park 3!!!! I particularly love YOUR videos of things being explored or explained and, feel like I speak for many Jurassic Park fans when I say I think a video on the Spinosaurus from JP3 explored would be REALLY interesting!
The movie itself is just ok, but I will NEVER get tired of that camouflage effect
It's so unbelievably that BD Wong would ever play an evil bad guy in film or TV.... Lol....
