Dude I miss your videos! Glad to see a new post, and I understand you are living your life with your soul-mate, which is more important. Have you seen the SouthPark on Magic, it is genius. Take Care!

Can retire with $900 per month single old man in seim reap cambodia very simple life. A/C food walking lot . No girl friend just friend. To talk eat local trying to learn khmer language I like your video
Cambodia is very welcoming to foreigners, and you can basically stay as long as you want with the right visa. Watch this video, which is all about visas for Cambodia: ua-cam.com/video/UrYPwpgfFjs/v-deo.html
Can I ask, how did you retire at 33? My assumption is you saved up a certain amount of money and then just left the US. Could you make a video on “how to retire early” or something similar?
I'm not sure if it's a good idea for me to make "financial advice" type videos on UA-cam. There are tons of more qualified people already making videos on financial topics. I recommend both The Plain Bagel and Ben Felix on UA-cam. Their content is both practical and well-researched. As for how I retired so early, it boiled down to me finding a high-paying job and then saving 75% of my income. There's no magic formula to retiring early other than "spend a lot less than you make." If you have a more specific inquiry, let me know.
@@Allen_in_Asia Yeah, I wasn't talking about your situation, but since you promote living in Cambodia, I wanted to ask you if you have any information about taxes, because for example Thailand has 0% of foreign income if you get an LTR visa, the Philippines has 0% of foreign income in the upcoming digital nomad visa, etc. So I was wondering if Cambodia had similar visas, as Cambodia would be a very valid option to live in South East Asia and I'm looking to relocate towards there. Also Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam etc have a tax treaty with the country where I have citizenship but Cambodia unfortunately does not. I meant no offence!
@@zen5813 You don't mention from which country your coming, so impossible to advise on treaties. If you are an Australian, then Cambodia leaves all the others behind for income tax, Cost of Living and hassle free bureaucracy, unlike the other countries you mention. No treaty (like all SE Asian countries). Note, new conditions for Thailand: effective from 2024 introduced personal income tax. The tax rate is progressive, ranging from 5% to 35%.
This is what you don’t get here in America,,traditional wife.. modern women here in America are terrible wife’s and that if you stupid enough to marry one… their standards are too high and bring nothing to the table let alone wife material. That’s why many men are passport bros.
I've been in Siem Reap for eight years. Your day looks a lot like mine. Viva is one of my favorite places to eat. Glad you and your wife are enjoying it.
i want to go to asia but i'm scared how dangerous it is with kidnapping and the drug trades, the latest news i saw was brazilian woman got raped in front of her husband traveling in india. DO all asians poop on the sidewalk and beaches? actually do asians have sidewalks or do they only have roads? I'm kinda scared of the 3rd world people, but i do want to travel cheap.
Cambodia isn't India. The streets and beaches are clean, drugs are almost nonexistent, and no one wants to rape or kidnap you. Watch my video about safety in Cambodia: ua-cam.com/video/0hpOQi86d_A/v-deo.html
i have lived in laos, philippines, japan, korea, taiwan and indonesia, plus visited most of the rest of asia. india isn’t asia at all despite what brits say, and is no way comparable to southeast or east asia. the very real and disgusting problems of india aren’t really found in asia. just exercise common sense.
@@jtns2845 i don't like indians, their body gives out nasty odor, i always want to vomit when i am near an indian, here in the west. We have soap and other hygiene products here, but indians don't buy it.

...well...for many people this routine would soon become boring.
Dude …. How you retire at 33!?!? 😂❤
Edit: ✍️ hah I see you got a video on that question specifically , KUDOS 🫰
I loved my time in Siem Reap but I was disappointed with the free pool tables. What is the name of the place you where you rented a table?
It's called Duck Mart like it says on the table. It's on the river east side
@@ivegotaguitar Thanks. I'll put it on my list of places to see next time I visit.
How long do you think it will take you to learn Khmer?
What I want to know is how long you can stay and all those things. Do you have a video about it?

Cambodia very dusty country. No beach
Now that you are married, any plans on buying real estate? I would be very interested in that video, thanks!

Play on Playa. Respect!
how about taxes though? is there a way to go around the 20% tax rate?
I have no idea what you're talking about. If you aren't working, you don't pay any taxes.
