Totally enchanted from the very first second (the title letters are awesome!) till the last second of this great film!!! The Kalitta Air staff would definitely feel so happy watching this video!
Maybe the most beautiful takeoff I've ever seen! This 747 looks absolutely amazing, the sunlight was outstanding, the sound a pleasure and the camera work like from a different world! Absolutely loved this video, thumbs up! :)
Fantastic footage mate!....the variety of scenes are perfect, nice to see a bit of loading action along with the super clips of this beautiful bird landing and taking off, Big Like!
Thanks a lot mate, really appreciate it! Happy to hear that the variety of scenes was just right, didn't want to go too overboard with the b-roll! Also happy to hear you liked seeing the unloading action!
Between your video, YMML Spotting Team, and Dj's Aviation, I must admit this here is the best footage of the Kalitta 747 visit. I mean the filming angles are phenomenal! I'm a side-profile guy, not much of a head-on spotter, so this was a delicious feast for my eyes :) Jumbo like for Boeing's last 747-400!
Thank you so much mate, really appreciate it! Yeah I'm more of a side-profile guy as well although I do like the head-on shots to keep things from getting stale!
Awesome footage mate, loved the fact you caught the unloading of freight in between landing & takeoff. Impressive 747, especially the standout livery. Cheers
Absolutely impressive. Really liked to see all the action happened while her visit with the shots from the carpark. It is always amazing to see your perfect close-up filming. Huge like and thanks for showing this top-notch quality!
That was sensational mate, loved watching the landing she was an awesome sight! Your take off shot was top notch the rotation occurred in the perfect place and the lighting was spectacular. Loved how you captured the freighter from a few angles around the airport, great dedication there. Glad you found out about the cargo as well. Pleasure to be out there with you again was an awesome and interesting afternoon! Huge like! TK
Thank you so much mate! The rotation worked out really well for us, I have to say! I tried to make the most of its visit with all those different angles because who knows when its next charter will be! Was spending the afternoon out there with you, sure was interesting with the last minute runway change and the paper work mess up haha!
Great video mate! What a day it was. Incredible camera work on both the landing and takeoff,. I really enjoyed the shots from up on T4 too. Nice introduction shot with the title; that was quite a nice addition! Great to catch up again; huge like!

This video is too good to be true, amigo. Your an aeronautics video prodigy. I was watching DJ aviations video he uploaded of it yesterday and in the wake of watching this its very intriguing to look at an amarteurs work, (for example, myself or Dj's Aviation) to a legitimate cinematographer like yourself.
Thank you so much mate, really appreciate it! I don't think your video is amateurish at all, I absolutely loved it! Im not really a legitimate cinematographer either, plane spotting is just a hobby for me but that truely means a lot!
i heard in the new York times apparently it is most likely gonna be retired at this stage in around mid-2018 given the fact as new generation come through such as a350, 787 and 747-8 its hard to believe i know
Ummm...I think you mean that the 747 is going to be retired. That may be so from passenger service, or Boeing production, but Kalitta is going to continue flying 747s for the foreseeable future, especially 782.
Totally enchanted from the very first second (the title letters are awesome!) till the last second of this great film!!! The Kalitta Air staff would definitely feel so happy watching this video!

They do sound good, don't they! The whine as it went past on the takeoff was incredible!

Thats such a shame to hear, glad to have caught it while its still around!
it was so nice of it to pay australia a visit for the very last time, sad moment in aviation great filming
Where did you hear that? I don't know of any plans to do anything of the like with 782...she's one of the best performing airplanes in the fleet.
i heard in the new York times apparently it is most likely gonna be retired at this stage in around mid-2018
given the fact as new generation come through such as a350, 787 and 747-8 its hard to believe i know
