- This week I took a trip to Xativa and Sagunto in the Valencian region. I’ve been trying to spend the weekends out of the city lately. It’s been nice going to smaller towns. It feels tranquil. It gives me moments of peace within a chaotic city life. In a culture where more is better, we’ve forgotten how to enjoy the simple moments. This video is to remind us to enjoy the smaller things.

in school being alone is taken as something bad that only losers do so I definitely never walk or stay alone, end up getting bored being alone outside school (I’m only child), hating eating alone, etc. but recently use to take a walk alone and it was so good. Alone time is important too! Simplicity is good 👍 🤗
That’s great to hear! I was the same in high school but I feel like university teaches you how to be alone since it’s so much bigger and you’re always in different classes than your friends!

I really agree with this. We need to just sit and breathe and look around and see what's beautiful. Smell the roses so to speak!! It's the world that creates this anxiety so it creates a way where we humans are supposed to be productive and not relax. Thank you for this video, and message.💜

I love the message you express, I really do. Since I'm more distant with my social media accs, it's true that I don't have that noise in my head anymore, and it's like a lot of my brain fog is gone.
However, I am still learning to have a good time on my own, and to enjoy time with myself in an authentic way, without the need to upload it to social media.

I can relate to this on a very deep level, I have been off social media for a few years now. Combined with a year of therapy and regularly pursuing new hobbies, I am finally in peace with myself. Ironically, I’m moving to Valencia in a few week, a chance the once again, grow, in every sense of the word.

@@LucyAlllan Oh absolutely! It's a lovely little town with a gorgeous beach front and a buzzing atmosphere, just lovely for a wander round. If you do go I recommend making the trek up the hill into the old town to walk round all the old narrow streets, it's really beautiful 🥰 If you like a hike I also recommend looking up Penon de Ifach, the views from the top are amazing!

Really good video I'm never go to Spain, I wish my place are peace and quiet live in city feel great because I can find anything there but it's too noisy hopefully I can visit this lovely place not now maybe a few years later after get some job & money..
maybe you should visit some country in Asia feel how Asian live in crowded city...

I live in Catalonia!! You should have come to visit me, ha ha. I live in a town that belongs to the Vallès Occidental region (it's called Terrassa). There are narrow and pretty streets. There is silence, unlike my life when I lived in the capital of Peru (Lima). Buen video, eres muy pero muy guapa. Se te ve como una persona muy interesante!!

Yo mismo antes la bicicleta me cansaba y me hacía sufrir lo indecible y ahora (después de algún tiempo de adaptación) lejos de cansarme y hacerme sufrir me deleita y me cansa menos (aun sufro un pelín pero mucho menos y lo encuentro agradable...esto es realmente cuando por adaptación te cansas menos y aunque te canses te gusta ese cansancio y pequeño 'sufrimiento', te has adaptado y esa adaptación no conlleva ninguna perdida sino más bien lo contrario). Yo me considero aún atractivo y no soy ocioso (y quizá tampoco soy simple...depende en que temas).
Ahora, si lo que quieres decir es que son las cosas sencillas las que nos hacen más felices (los momentos en que contemplamos absorto un paisaje, tenemos el cariño de los nuestros, hemos dormido entre 6 y 8 horas, leemos bella poesía, estamos enamorados, etc...) quizá tengas razón.
Pero acordaos de lo que acabo de decir pues es todo menstira.
Hey Lucy, I started watching Your videos half a year ago. I observed that You love being calm and feeling peace (Spain and the Spanish provide that feeling to You) but do you think it gives you a whole view about the world? I mean why not to go to places where people suffer to have more accurate take on how we all behave and how it is? (Im sorry if there is already Your video where You discuss that aspect)

I don't think that this has something to do with simplicity. I totally get the point but travelling is luxury and not everyone is gifted like you. So how can you call that simplicity when you're doing things that most of the people just can't afford.
