The combat in this game is not so great. The bosses are underwhelming - they're slow and predictable. I think they didn't want to make them too difficult, since you're not allowed to take any damage. - Ігри

I lit quit this game coz it was so hard
It was normal till they introduced 3 types of enemies but then when they added more . It became so hard and there are no difficulty settings so like yeah

Story is wack, tf are you on about? It's the most cliched, most typical cyberpunk story always told. Gameplay is cool though.

It’s definitely hard to start but once you get in the groove it feels pretty manageable and enjoyable
Mara’s accent in the boss fight is so weird, especially the way she says “consume” lmao

@@Fraycon maybe they used local voice actors instead of hiring native English speakers. Or maybe accent was made on purpose, because whole game have oriental vibe (samurais, dharma e t.c.)

The last run for the Architect is an absolute platformer NIGHTMARE. My hands are in pain. I hate this game and I loved every minute of it.
Tom is the best boss because it's just genuinely fun and challenging. Unlike the other two bosses
This is probably one of my favorite single player games, only game I finish in a single setting. Now I'm just replaying my favorite levels trying to beat my time

After 2 months you'd think I'd be able to do better on the boss, nope. Still like 200~ attempts xd. And for some reason HEL and Mara were way easier for me. Probably because I barely had to move for them.
Is it me or everytime a new game comes out after 2 hours it already has ending all bosses or something like that?

2 hours is pretty normal at this point. I have that. Unofficial record for now is sub 50 minutes. There are people that played the demo for hundreds hours and waited many months for the full release. And that happens for many games.

Hey Gellot, I've always wondered. How do you find all these games and then decide which one you're going to play next? A lot of them seem pretty interesting.
With bigger games I just follow gaming sites and watch some streamers play. I occasionally check what's new on Steam, plus I get suggestions from comments. Sometimes developers send me keys to their games to play.
There's always a lot of new games to choose and I just pick whatever I think would be entertaining to watch.

Actually this is everyone after their first run, i was able to perfectly destroy all bosses without dying

Putting this out there: I've never played the game, partly because my smart fridge cannot run it.
My expectations led to my eventual disappointment. I expected more Furi and less Portal boss fights tbh. Not the game's fault, obviously (it's called Ghostrunner not ghostcutter). But dammit it would be neat to have us slice and dice these mofos as much as we run. HEL fight was the closest thing I have in mind tho so that's nice.

HEL battle is stylish AF, and I don't care what anyone else says about it.
Also, that final boss battle is very clearly inspired by Furi's The Star.
I also wonder if anyone else remembers Remember Me (lol), and sees the similarity between the stories of both.
Hel fight was stylish but disappointing af. I think they needed to vary her attacks more while you're close to her or something to force you to more than just click the attack button.
from the start, I already expect this to happen. Something or someone help you recover from your death/injury, then the final boss will always be the guy who helps you at the start of the game. It's so cliche
But I like it though :D

For people who haven't played it it makes the Mara fight and Architect 'fight' look easy
If I would have a dollar for every time I died at the first boss, I would have around 300$

For the ending: It's funny, because you as the player don't really have a choice, to NOT follow through on the scripted game result xD
@uganda knuckles I think it's backwards. For third person games, you play as a character. You don't save Ciri in Witcher 3, Geralt does. On the other hand, they may assign you a certain name in First person games, but you don't even see the face of the character for the most part, so it makes you self insert in the story.

This game is like 1st person souls game. Good stuff mate, you're pretty good at this game.
Just finished the game myself. Man the Mara fight was so dogshit, what a letdown. Also the transition to destroying the architect lacked in execution.
Overall fun game tho, 7.5/10.
Yeah the first boss “fight” was by far the best. Also the game was too short imo. The rest is awesome though.
