Im an LCK fan through and through, have been since 2013, but I love a gauntlet, I think it made T1s 2023 win so much more impressive.
The fact that G2 have to win 5 bo5s in a row to win MSI is so cool to me. PSG, TES, T1, GEN/BLG, BLG/GEN.

Nah bro the way you paint G2 as only this creative team that surprises and cheeses you with their champion pool is weird, G2 plays the map at a very high level while also boasting out new picks, same with their objectives setup, they'll make TES dizzy I guarantee it, specially since TES has yet to face a team that uses laneswaps as effectively as G2, who b2w didnt show their laneswaps shenanigans yet. Kinda disapointed that you predicted against G2 in what seems the least risky it felt to predict in favor of G2 in years.
And what do you mean G2 getting TES in the mud, that's FNC style if anything, how can you watch G2 vs T1 and PSG games and think this is a team that looks to drag you in the mud like FNC did with GenG
I focus on that because that is their edge vs the other 4 teams. All top 5 teams have very strong macro, some better then others. The focus is the differences.

I think of all the criticisms TES gets, 369's underperformance is the only one that's objective. People shitting on Creme and Tian are only taking their worst games and nothing else. Tian was gapping Canyon in some of their games in that series. Creme also had great performances against Chovy. G2 vs TES is a good match, but it's irritating to see G2 fans tear down TES's achievements this tournament because of 1 Bo3 against FNC.

@@hdkonvick6299 Humanoid was 1 tricking LB and got destroyed the moment he was off of that champion. Creme also massively improved after the first 5 minutes of game 3 and never looked anywhere near as bad as you EU fans claim. Let's remember that TES completely destroyed TL and went 5 games with Gen-G. Humanoid didn't look anywhere near as dominant as Creme against Chovy even on their best games.

The problem with geng is canyon is just not good at champs that are not carry, he's still really good but he can't cook as hard as when he's on a carry champ, idk

@@neilpanganiban272 i don't think the k6 game matters that much, it's obvious that they're going for riskier plays there coz they think they can get away with it vs fnc even chovy's doing it, in the nidalee game i thought about the early game but he still had a big impact after the bot lane play despite the early fuck ups so I thought he's still powerful in these carry champs and it would be stupid not to say so
Don’t think ahri would be banned, both chovy and knight are super good at it

Just like this meta sucks for t1 i think its the best for g2. I really do hope they perform cuz meta wise, I can't imagine things could get better than this for them.
Laneswaps are a garbage meta that help bad teams bandaid their early game and laning flaws, as usual Riot is dogshit at balancing the game.

Mate, please listen to what I actually said and not just the prediction score and think to yourself that that is the only analysis that was made....
@@YamatoCannon213 I did listen which is why I made that comment. Just from the top of my head:
- BB over 369 only due to lane swaps while BB outperformed 369 2/3 games with standard lanes
- Yike vs Tian is not important & Yike should go for frontline engage like J4 while in the series Yike outclassed Tian by a landslide and had huge impact in all games while also neither picking tanks nor engage (I guess Rek'sai somewhat counts)
- Creme is a magnificent mid with strong team fight while in the series he inted multiple times and had 0 impact in team fights
- tes botlane is going to stomp g2 bot (which in all fairness was likely given the performances before this series) while in the series 2/3 games g2 bot outclassed tes botlane at an absurd level and also recovered insanely well after the early mistake in game 3 and later on found a way to snowball anyway
- g2 should go for lane swaps, because they are individually outclassed which in the series they obviously did not at all and pretty much won all match ups across the board when looking at the whole series
- G2 is scared of the draven kalista match up and should dodge it with varus while in the series they won with both sides of it and picked effing kog maw into it
- creme does not play azir / is not comfortable on it and azir is picked voluntarily the first 3 picks of game 1
- caps needs to utilize his champ pool to get the edge over creme while in the series he just locked in tristana and outclassed easily apart from 1 bigger misstep.
- obviously close series and winner is going to be tes also turned out completely different
could probably name like 10 more things if I rewatched, but my point should be clear. some observations were on point, though. like the priority on tristana, creme's azir not being good enough or some of the bans.
I really value your analysis and opinions and most of the time you hit the nail right on its head, but this one was a miss. nothing wrong with that.

Creme I think can play Corki which is a MASSIVE advantage over Caps.Can Caps play Azir? Dont really remember but he hasnt picked the champ yet so no Corki Azir for G2, and this is just an overwhelming advantage for TES. Caps can play Orianna sure but Corki vs Orianna I dont believe one bit Caps can 1 vs 9 in that case. TES as a team is just... better than G2 and that is a big issue. G2 has two many shits to ban and Creme can just lock in Corki and they will be DOOMED. Caps has to be put on LeBlanc, Tristana or atleast Orianna to carry G2 but again, Corki outscales all of these champs. Caps beat Faker because Faker sucks at Corki and NO Caps cannot play Taliyah, he cannot play Ahri you should NOT drag out those ancient games from a decade ago when Caps was still flying high and can play any champ. He used to have the meanest Sylas in the world BUT Caps' Sylas nowadays is just banter. Faker was pretty much the best Orianna in the world and carried so many games with Corki, BUT I would not trust him on either of these champs nowadays. 24 years old Caps is NOT the same as 20 years old Caps he CANNOT play Taliyah, he should stay the fk away Ahri and ANY "hit skillshot or lose" champ tbh. He cannot do that anymore same for Faker, these two grandpas should not bother with heavy skill-reliant champs because man those missed Ori's ults against a team like TES is gonna cost them BIG TIME. TES 3-1 I think maybe 3-2 if Tian starts inting.
BLG vs GENG is gonna be a fun series, but I dont think GENG is gonna have much chances here. BLG's biggest strength is GENG's biggest weakness while GENG's biggest strength is up against the BEST jungler in the world atm, XUN is just really ON form there is little they can even do here. Chovy has to play out of his minds but even then... BLG 3-1.
TL vs T1 I think so many people are underestimating TL here. They can def beat T1 on a bad day and I think the BLG series has broken their minds, and this T1 roster is always known to be very moody. If T1 doesnt ban APA then I think TL can win 3-1 even but yeah... 90% of the times T1 is gonna 3-0.
You havent watched lec then caps was an azir merchant at one point why is it massive to play corki? Corki is only good into azir unless you are chovy? corki loses into the mages so what are you saying?
That Corki and Azir was sold out by the Tristana Merchant and TES didn't even bother banning it. xD
Analyse about G2 TES was a flop, and not a small one. Improvement is required to post future analyse yamato. :)
After Yamato said this MSI has the potential to be the best League tournament of all time I assumed he was going to predict TL over T1.

I feel like BB could only be considered the best performing toplaner if Kiin didn't exist. I think after the T1 series I'd put Bin above him too. I also don't rate Zac gameplay very highly, I think the champion is incredibly overtuned, underpicked, and unbelievably easy to execute. The Yasuo games weren't great, aside from the first play in game 1 where he keybladed Oner.
