Some things that I do while test taking that really helps,
1. I glance through the entire question paper first and decide what I'll answer first and what I'd leave for last
2. I carry a cup of coffee/tea to keep me energised
3. I wear the same watch that I use when I study so that it's easier to get into the flow state
4. I never omit a question unless there's a negative marking, there's always scope to get scores
5. I listen to a hype playlist on my way to school
6. Last-minute revision in the 'golden time' is too underrated, I make a revision sheet when I study before taking exams which has played a major role in boosting my marks
I love these tips!! Definitely agree with all of them especially number 4. Thanks for sharing :)
the
I may be stupid but I didn't get number 4??
@@scarheadwitch7721 I assume the commenter means: Unless you get point deductions for getting questions wrong, always try your best on questions, even if you're not sure what the answer is. Putting something down can potentially earn points, so it's better than putting nothing down.
I normally listen to What's Up Danger before the test to get into the zone. Better to walk in feeling upbeat than stressed
Yes agreed!
you're so cool 😂
SHUT UP!! that's what I do too, I LOVE that song!!!
dumping everything you know for one question will definitely help you pass. not just for writing questions also for T or F questions write a paragraph on why u picked that answer show your teacher that you understand and you know everything
no way you dropped this literally the minute i started taking my act this morning 😭
one strat i learned was that for two part questions, especially in reading tests, you should always compare you answers to see if they have similar or maybe the same words📝✏
*oh yeah, WE GOT THE SILVER BUTTON!!!! congrats amy!
🥳🥳

Thanks Amy!
I'm one of those people who'd have trouble with essay type questions because I won't know were to stop and end up putting most of my time and effort into the first one I attempt and not have enough time to do justice to the other questions.
What helped me overcome this problem was answering the questions I know the least about first. That put my mind in the right frame to be efficient rather than ramble.
And another thing to remember is, in case of essay type tests, scoring above average in all the questions you're supposed to answer gives you a higher total score than answering one really well and the others below average.
You know sometimes the really best thing that can happen to you is that you have a good teacher who actually teaches nice. If you have one, it is such a blessing
I think that now I'm gonna ace all my upcoming tests!! I love how your videos ALWAYS motivate me and it has made things so much better and easier! CONGRATS for 102K subscribers...I'm so glad I'm one of them!

Thank you Amy! 🥰
Thank YOU!
Hi, I really love your videos it’s always inspirers me , I actually have exams this week so I will try to follow your tips🙂
Hi Amy. The first tip you said was actually true and this is the first youtuber i watch who have mentioned it. To be honest that's a trick I use to usually to score marks I usually overdeliver a lot of content and that actually gets you marks. If you don't know a answer just write all the thing related to that question and then you might actually score marks I know that like from 6th.Also love your videos you actually tell some relevant points instead of study for 4 hours.
Yes! Love that you do that already :) Thanks so much for your kind words and watching my videos!!
Congrats for hitting 100k subscribers. You really deserve it. You helped me a lot.
Also can you give us some physics tips?

nice video and congrats on 100k subs :0 :) :] wishing more greatness
Oh I have this time management technique where I take a look at the whole test and answer every single thing I know and I'm sure of, then I have more time for the questions I am struggling on, then all the memories come kicking in, and I get a good score
my fav confident boosting songs are COMFLEX, Social Path, Hall of Fame, TOPLINE MEGAVERSE. I'm just. NOTING PERFECT IS ALL IT TAKES CAUSE WE PERFECT
1:33 well I always try to do that but there are certain teachers who remove marks for writing "too much" 😭
Oh, about luck, I can't wear stuff (because uniform stuff) But I use of '8' much as possible, because the number eight is lucky in my culture. It actually works though!
Happy 100 k wAmy🎉🎉
Keep shining🎉 ❤
Ur tips helped me so much ❤❤
Thank u soo much for posting these amazing videos ❤
I now have a different mindset
Before I used to compare my marks with my friends marks but now I compare myself with past me
Plus my grades are improving 🎉

can you give us tips on math please? thank you for these wonderful videoes!!!😍
Hey! wamy I really like how u solve our problems but can u please dedicate a vid to your secret tips that how u could learn all the books content on your finger tips . Love u wamy.
8:42 Never thought about it! Although I think, most people do the, skip what you don't know... This is something quite similar, but! You are also checking to have at least a small idea, which way is better than nothing. I love how you also mentioned to practice with a time limit, I'll apply it to my next tests! Thank you so much for this tips. And btw, your designs are very pretty, really like the bunny one, take care, Amy. Also! A tip that I might help out others, is, to study extra material, specially the one that is uncertain if it's going to be on the test. It's always good to prepare!💓
Thank YOU so much, Carolina, for being so thoughtful to voice your own standpoint to how Amy's content is helpful to you in specific ways!
Thank you for the consistent effort for the positive apposite feedback to her content!
Amy really appreciates this!
Stay blessed!
@@HumanHuman. You are welcome! And I'm also grateful, both for Amy's content and your constant replies. ☺️
You are amazing
Thanks for the videos i found it helpful and interesting
So the thing i tried that actually worked
First never study passively cuz its not studying its just reading
When u have to study more than on topic or subject
Like for 25 min stuyd first
Rest 5 min then 25 mins other subject then rest then back to first subject review and continue the time depends on the subject can be 30 mins 40 50 even hour
HI amy! I love your vids and they helped me a lot. Could you do a vid on how to get a's in ap classes??
Hi Amy, this was really helpful and I have a request. Could you maybe do a video on how to take effective and efficient notes? That helps to score better marks easily. Thank you ❤
I'll add it to my list :)
never been this early!
Whoohoo!
Yk what helps me (if all hope is lost)
Basically if i know a specific formula of smth similar that I REALLY need to know (and I dont), i read through it a million times right before the test and as soon as i get the test, I write it down on the paper so i can look back at it through the test.
8:29 You learned how to read backward? How do I acquire this power?
We got the silver button!
So glad to know you were here with us in the community to reach that significant milestone! God willing, more significant milestones will be reached soon fast enough and you are here with the immense support for those too!
Stay blessed 🇵🇸 !
Hi Amy! I wanted to ask you whether Maths is compulsory for taking the ACT exam. Though I could always search this in my browser but getting to know about something from someone who has done that already would really help. It would really help me if you could reply to me. P.S.- Your videos are really helpful. Thank you for all the wonderful and useful tips!
Can you give me tips on how to win competitions? Specifically math and science and especially math competitions? 😭
I attended one last school year but I didn't win. I'm back this school year and I wanna win because I don't wanna disappoint my parents, teachers, and especially myself again.
Anyway, thank you for this video! My exams are literally next week.
you don't need to win competitions to feel good about yourself. I'm sure you're an amazing person anyways
Wake up!!!

Hello Amy!
Oh OK!

Hi, Amy, with a BS Chemical Engineering & 4.0 GPA from Caltech, do you have the option of all of the four possibilities or not: JD or MBA or MD or PhD on your next move?
Ms. Amy, I came across your interesting comment on 'Affirmative Action", which some argue is antithetical to a wholly merit-based society. To me, college education is limited like a greenhouse or an existence in a simulator, because in real life, the concept of "in group think" is so widely prevalent and the variables involved also far more nuanced ... also, how is it that certain countries have been around for 5,000 years and yet they could not get it right, relatively speaking so that they had to move to another new and more upstart countries which were open to receiving them, is that akin to affirmative action by chance at the level of nation-state concept ... things that make you go 'hmm, huh! Btw, on a grander scale, we are all on God's affirmative action, but that is a topic for another occasion!
so..My finals are coming up and I missed a week of school so i missed a lot of revesion.. any tips on how to catch up wid class in terms of practice and revesion..? I really need to speed up. Also..Is it possible for like personal life to affect your studies like..dis video did talk a lot about self confidence but something tragic may keep supressing my selfconfidence..so any opinions or tips to tackle such issues?
Unfortunately for English comprehension, if I brain dump the teachers are going to write excess denied and penalise me for it😭
hi Amy do you know any apps that has pratice questions for different subjects that is free to use? I keep revising what's in my book and i don't think that will bring me anywhere as i think that i should try new things and bring my mind across different types of questions.
Hi! I love using Quizlet! If you search subjects, typically they will have questions for it already

Hellllooooooooooooooo Amy ❤
Halllooooo :)
Tomorrow is my exam...😢
Good luck! Try my tips :)
I always stay until the very end of the test. So many times I had 1 or 2 questions which I didn’t know how to answer. So I would finish the rest first and then take all my time to find any suitable solution to hard questions. A lot of times the answer comes very last minute😂.
Yes! Agree with this tip :)
@@wamyy5 i also do these tips every exam 😅
2:55 - me
hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii
Dont yall have like oral exams?
I personally think that school/university is a game for grade and exams are stupid. For example, if you are a medical student when you graduate and get to your profession, you are not going to figure out what Vitamin/supplement you need to take. The internet will be there, you are going to rely on it to determine what supplement you need to take or Vitamins. In the Fall of 2023 semester, I had a Nutrition 295 instructor that did not give a crap that we look up answers on the internet. He had us do the exams at home with no Lockdown Browser or him caring whatsoever if we look up the answers, he cared more about our Diet Analysis where you write about your own diet and bibliography. He was such an easy grader, he even gave me full credit on my Mind tap total so I can finish the course with an A when my averages was like 88%.
