Do you think you’d happen to know of a psp game where your a Greek soldier (not god of war) and you basically have to fight your way down this narrow maze of sorts but theirs giant scorpions and snake ladies and other Greek monsters but I can’t remember the name of it for the life of me, I got this game and okayed the shit out of it when I was like 9 and my dad got my psp hacked at a swap meet but I can’t find the game anymore

A game which a recommend which isn't on this video is Phantasy star portable (which has a European release) and phantasy star portable 2 infinity (which is Japanese but has an English translation patch) action role-playing game. They are super fun games, tons of weapons, playstyles, races, character customization, combat abilities', arenas, crossovers and more! There's so much content in phantasy star portable 2 infinity that it almost feels like a singleplayer mmo. ps. Portable 2 is better (or atleast in my opinion)

The idea is to provide games for day one PSP fans like myself and giving new players some inspiration at the same time. So it´s a fine line to walk. But you are welcome to drop some games you consider hidden gems and I might add them to my next list!
For Kurohyou, I think you should played second one since that game got like main story and substory completed translate. While first one english patch is just bad and now being worked on with same team who made fan translation patch for second games.
I started the second one a while ago! Really need to continue it! Glad to hear the first one gets another overhaul! Amazing games and maybe one day we´ll see a re-release on modern hardware!

So happy Black Rock Shooter PSP made it to this list, it has auto lock on and the button mechanics are far better and more fun to use than Kingdom Birth by Sleep. Megaman Maverick Hunter X was a very solid game on the PSP as well.

Lumines 2 should have made the list..I'm pretty happy that me and my Katamari made the list. Marvel ultimate alliance is good on psp. Toy story 3 is definitely a hidden gem. Crazy taxi is great on psp. I need to add some of these psp games to my collection.

An eclectic list for sure, but regardless this video shows one thing - the PSP had one hell of a game library. And this doesn't even include the top contenders. Sony sort of screwed me on my old purchase history (Oh uh yeah that stuff is wiped from your PSN history - sorry!) so the hell with SONY but with custom firmware its sort of makes that all a non-issue anyway. At any rate, the games are great and I still play my PSP all the time. I've had one for 18 years now.
The PSP is one of the greatest handhelds ever made! I´m still playing psp games all the time! Not a fan of digital games, because of this exact reason! Rather get a physical release!
First of all, a special thanks to Gaming Kick, bro you rock and I suggest you keep em coming. Secondly, I am just amused at the library of this handheld console. This is like the steam decks for the 2000s.One look at the library, you probably think these games feel right at home on Sony’s PS2 but its on a handheld. If theres one company that really could challenge the Deck, it probably be Sony if they ever drop a successor.
There is Yakuza Black Panther patched too. One of the coolest games of all time. Nice voice acting. There is also Valkyrie Chronicles 3 Extra Edition. Wonderful mix of FPS with tactical in turns. Good vídeo, never knew about Fulmetal Alchemist.
Maverick Hunter X is one of the best remakes by Capcom! The og Mega Man X on SNES was already a perfect game, but I really enjoyed the new graphics and gameplay changes!
Search it on Google , I completed the first one that was half English patched. I had to download the Japanese version too in between because it kept crashing at certain points / mission

Midnight club la for the psp is honestly better than the console version has a few less cars less customization but better frame rate snd more content to play and same everthing else other thsn graphics but i mean game looks great for psp

Pretty sure when the PSP came out Persona 3 was still a underrated gem for sure. I think it really first became really popluar after Persona 5! And most casual gamers never played P3! That´s the reason it´s on this list!
